T W E E D P O L I C E h ave charged a 27-year-old woman following an investigation into an alleged fraud incident in Murwillumbah. On Sunday, December 29, last year, police were notified
of fraudulent activity in the accounts of a volunteer fire brigade. Police will allege in court that more than $38,000 had allegedly been transferred from the brigade’s account
to a personal bank account. Following extensive inquiries, police spoke with a woman at a home in Murwillumbah on Monday, February 25. “She was issued a court attendance notice for embezzle
