NORTH WARD CAMPUS Dance On, Jazz Choreographer: Mrs Jacinda Edwards Dance On is an energetic jazz performance celebrating the joy, connection and sense of community that dance brings. Set to Whitney Houston’s iconic song I Wanna Dance with Somebody, this uplifting work captures the excitement of moving, celebrating and dancing together.

ANNANDALE CAMPUS I am Healing, Lyrical Choreographer: Ms Grace Khong I Am Healing is a heartfelt lyrical dance work that explores the quiet strength found in overcoming life’s challenges. Through expressive movement, emotional vulnerability and moments of resilience, the dancers portray a journey from pain towards hope and renewal. Set to the powerful vocals of Sia’s I’m Healing, the performance reminds the audience that healing is not always a destination, but a courageous process of finding light, strength and beauty after hardship.

NORTH WARD CAMPUS The Petrushka Doll, Demi-Character Solo Choreographer: Mrs Jane Pirani The Vain Ballerina finds herself caught between the devoted love of the sensitive puppet Petrushka and the handsome charm of the wealthy and arrogant Moor. Torn between the two, the Ballerina struggles to choose where her heart truly belongs.

NORTH WARD CAMPUS Let’s Get Loud, Jazz Choreographer: Ms Yanique Kinobe Let’s Get Loud is an energetic jazz dance work celebrating performance, teamwork and the joy of movement. Set to Jennifer Lopez’s vibrant song Let’s Get Loud, the routine showcases the dancers’ developing technique, musicality and connection as an ensemble.

NORTH SHORE CAMPUS Dark Wings, Contemporary Choreographer: Mrs Jenna Fielder Dark Wings is a contemporary dance work that explores the haunting battle between light and darkness. Ethereal bird-like spirits stalk a lone survivor, whose courage and determination are tested as she desperately fights to resist their growing influence. Through powerful movement, striking formations and dramatic contrasts, the work depicts the relentless spread of darkness. In the end, the survivor is consumed, transformed into a vessel for the very evil she sought to escape, leaving audiences to reflect on the fragility of hope when confronted by overwhelming darkness.

Through sharp, dynamic movement and emotional expression, the choreography captures the feeling of being caught between control and complete madness.

Through powerful physicality and emotional connection, The Social Pollutant encourages awareness, self-reflection and the importance of making informed choices for oneself.

Filled with bright smiles, dynamic movement and infectious enthusiasm, the dancers celebrate the simple happiness that comes from embracing each new day. Through lively choreography and playful performance, this feel-good work captures the carefree spirit of childhood, leaving audiences smiling long after the final pose.

NORTH WARD CAMPUS Black and Gold, Commercial Jazz Choreographer: Mr Fletcher Browne This high-energy piece is all about confidence, charisma and stage presence. Drawing on the distinctive influence of Bob Fosse, the choreography incorporates sharp, stylised movements, strong musicality and precise performance qualities, creating a piece that is both entertaining and visually engaging. As Dance Captain, Ava has been an important leader within our Arts community at Townsville Grammar School, and this solo provides an opportunity for her to showcase her versatility and individual artistry.

Set to the evocative music of Saturn by Sleeping At Last, the performance celebrates the quiet beauty found in life’s journey, reminding audiences to cherish the people and memories that leave a lasting imprint on our hearts.

In a world increasingly shaped by technology and artificial intelligence, Planet X celebrates the unique qualities that make us human and the strength we find through connection and collaboration.
