2025 ANNUAL REPORT

TURNER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOUNDATION

Welcome

A MESSAGE FROM OUR BOARD

We are pleased to share the impact of the Turner Construction Company Foundation in 2025 as we continue to advance our mission of fostering active caring, inclusion, and workforce development within the construction industry.

In 2025, the Foundation generated $8.1 million in revenue, an increase of more than seven percent over 2024, reflecting continued growth and strong financial stewardship. Total donations rose from $4.4 million to $6.47 million, while increased investment income emerged as a meaningful supplemental funding source supporting the Foundation’s long-term sustainability.

Through 31 events held across 20 states, the Foundation awarded grants to more than 360 nonprofit organizations. These investments supported programs that directly benefit people and strengthen the communities where Turner builds.

Mental health remained a key priority. The Foundation partnered with the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention to produce construction-specific awareness and prevention videos designed to reduce stigma, encourage open dialogue, and equip leaders and workers with practical tools to support mental well-being. Food security and community stability were also advanced through core support of United Way Worldwide, helping ensure the infrastructure and coordination needed for local United Ways to maximize their impact.

Our commitment to inclusion and workforce development was reflected in more than $2 million invested in education, hands-on training, and scholarship programs that expand access to careers in construction and help build a more inclusive, skilled workforce for the future.

The Turner Construction Company Foundation Disaster Relief Fund continued to provide confidential financial assistance to employees and their families experiencing uninsured losses from federally declared disasters. During the year, more than $162,500 was contributed through employee giving and company matching contributions and distributed to support employees and their families, demonstrating Turner’s enduring commitment to actively caring for one another.

As we look ahead, we remain focused on strengthening communities, supporting our people, and advancing the construction industry responsibly and sustainably. Thank you for your continued partnership and support in this important work.

While the golf, raffles, and barbecues made for a wonderful day, the greatest impact came from the generosity shown by the participants and volunteers.

Stead Family Children’s Hospital Family Needs Fund supports family centered pediatric care grounded in dignity and collaboration. As part of Iowa’s academic health system, the hospital also advances pediatric research and trains future health care professionals while bringing care, courage, and comfort to young patients and their families.

Local Initiatives Support Corporation, LISC Toledo , connects local groups with the resources to help build inclusive, resilient communities of opportunity. They work alongside local leaders to create affordable housing, support small businesses, improve health and safety, and strengthen neighborhoods. Their mission is rooted in creating pathways to prosperity that empower communities to thrive from within.

This investment directly supports our mission to positively impact Detroit youth through athletics, mentorship, and educational programming. Partnerships like this play a critical role in strengthening our community and investing in the next generation.

Each year, we have the opportunity to connect with our local beneficiaries as we present donations that help advance their missions... We are proud to support each of these organizations and the meaningful work they do throughout our region.

The Foundation’s support has been instrumental in advancing Next Gen’s mission to equip high school students with the exposure, mentorship, and resources they need to graduate confident, connected, and prepared for college, career, and life. From immersive exposure trips with Turner employees to after school sessions led by dedicated educators and college mentors, our partnership embodies a shared belief: if every young person can see it and experience it, they can become it.

Also known as Next Gen Atlanta, this organization supports college and career success through its College and Career-Readiness Program, providing consistent mentorship, academic support, and exposure to postsecondary pathways. Students meet twice weekly in grade-based cohorts led by teacher coaches and college mentors, participate in college and career visits, and engage in career shadowing, internships, and networking opportunities. Spanning all four years of high school and extending into alumni support, the program builds confidence, essential skills, and resilience to prepare students for long-term success.

The Foundation’s grant supports student trips and afterschool activities by covering transportation, logistics, and educational resources to ensure equitable access to handson learning experiences. Next Gen aims to serve 150 students and 300 alumni, with a goal of achieving a 96% graduation rate and ensuring all graduates pursue postsecondary pathways.

About the PENCIL Foundation

PENCIL Foundation is a Nashville based nonprofit dedicated to linking community resources with Metro Nashville Public Schools to help students achieve academic success. Grounded in the belief that public education is everybody’s business, PENCIL works to address historic funding inequities that leave some schools and students with greater needs. By aligning local businesses, higher education institutions, and community partners, PENCIL helps fill critical resource gaps, deliver essential supplies, expand career exploration opportunities, and foster positive school cultures.

Serving 80,000 students, PENCIL collaborates with district leaders to design and implement programs to meet immediate and long term needs. Their partners serve as mentors who help students build confidence, explore careers, and develop the academic and social skills needed for success. Support from the Turner Construction Company Foundation strengthens PENCIL’s capacity to expand equitable access to opportunity and ensure every student has the resources and connections needed to thrive.

PENCIL was honored to join Turner Construction Company Foundation at a special reception at Nissan Stadium celebrating this year’s grant recipients! The event brought together community partners and industry leaders to recognize organizations making a meaningful impact across Middle Tennessee. We’re grateful to be included among so many dedicated groups working to strengthen and uplift our local communities.

MENTAL HEALTH INITIATIVE

Mental health remained a priority for the Foundation in 2025. We partnered with the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention (CIASP) to produce construction-specific awareness and prevention videos designed to reduce stigma, encourage open dialogue, and equip leaders and workers with practical resources to support mental health. CIASP has 172 chapters across the United States helpimg make a positive change in the construction industry.

Statistically, construction occupations exhibit both the highest rate of suicide and the highest number of suicides across all occupational groups.

CIASP is dedicated to changing those statistics.

The construction industry has made progress, but stigma around mental health, addiction, and recovery still persists, often leaving workers to struggle in silence. This video aims to break that silence by sharing honest, real-life stories from four workers facing mental illness, substance use, and injury-related dependence. Their experiences highlight that these challenges can affect anyone, but also that recovery and support are possible.

The message is clear: true strength includes speaking up and looking out for one another. Free resources, including individual story clips, a poster, and a companion guide, are available at www.preventconstructionsuicide.com to encourage awareness, conversation, and action. The goal is to inspire those who are struggling to seek help and remind the industry to make mental health a shared priority.

DISTASTER RELIEF FUND

The Turner Construction Company Foundation Disaster Relief Fund provides direct confidential financial aid to qualified employees and family members who suffered uninsured financial losses as a result of U.S. federally declared disasters. The Disaster Relief Fund is supported solely through Turner Construction Company Employee voluntary confidential donations. 100% of the funds raised are distributed to assist Turner colleagues and their families with Disaster Relief Support.

I experienced significant property damage and disruption to every aspect of mine and my family’s lives. Assistance from the company’s disaster relief fund helped cover urgent expenses, including temporary housing and other expenses not covered by insurance or federal assistance... My family and I are sincerely appreciative of the support provided during this recovery period.

OUR TEAM

Thank you for your leadership and contributions to TCCF Steve!

As a 44 year veteran of Turner Construction, The Foundation was delighted when Steve joined the team in 2022. In his role as Director of Finance, Steve oversaw Foundation strategy, policy, accounting, and grantmaking.

Under his leadership, the Foundation significantly expanded its impact, including multi-milliondollar grants to nonprofits, support for workforce development and skilled-trade training, and contributions to disaster relief and community resilience efforts.
