Quantum Space | Tulsa, OK
Quantum Space announced plans to invest $80 million into a new Tulsa facility that will manufacture Ranger spacecraft — highly maneuverable satellites engineered for both defense and commercial missions — positioning the Tulsa region at the forefront of the rapidly expanding space economy.
With plans to locate at Tulsa International Airport, the facility will serve as the company’s primary site for propulsion tank manufacturing and precision spacecraft parts production, initially creating 50 jobs while helping fuel long-term growth in satellite production and aerospace innovation across the region. National media coverage included Fox Business Network, Space News, Aerotime and more. Quantum Space is building on local industry momentum established by Agile Space, which announced earlier this year, that it was establishing its rocket engine testing facility in Tulsa.

Tulsa Regional Chamber Economic Development staff and Tulsa Future Investors represented the Tulsa region at the Space Symposium alongside the Oklahoma ACES team.

The Tulsa region was represented at MRO Americas - the world’s largest gathering of the aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) industry - bringing together airlines, aerospace manufacturers, suppliers and service providers to discuss industry trends, technologies and business opportunities.
• Conducted targeted business recruitment and relationship-building meetings with aerospace and aviation companies
• Promoted the Tulsa region’s aerospace industry strengths, workforce pipeline and business advantages
• Gathered industry intelligence on emerging trends, supply chain opportunities and expansion projects
• Strengthened the Tulsa region’s visibility as a leading aerospace and advanced manufacturing hub
NYC Marketing Trip | New York City, NY
Tulsa Regional Chamber Economic Development staff, Tulsa’s Future Investors and regional partners, including; Broken Arrow Economic Development Corporation and PSO, embarked on a strategic marketing mission to New York City.
• Conducted targeted business development meetings with 7 site consultants and 7 business prospects
• Strengthened regional collaboration through coordinated outreach efforts alongside key economic development and utility partners
• Generated three preliminary projects as a direct outcome of relationship-building and business recruitment discussions

Chamber Economic Development staff celebrated and promoted Oklahoma Aerospace Week to stakeholders and local businesses. Served on the panel, “Legacy to Launch: Igniting Oklahoma’s Space Industry” at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium, joining industry leaders to discuss the future of Oklahoma’s growing space economy.

Chamber Economic Development staff participated in the leadership summit hosted by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), engaging with national industry leaders and economic development professionals on emerging trends and opportunities impacting regional growth.
• Hosted site consultant of Biggins Lacy Shapiro & Company for a strategic dinner discussion focused on economic development trends, site selection activity and opportunities within Oklahoma and the Tulsa region
• Joined by the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, fostering collaborative dialogue around statewide priorities
• Strengthened relationships with key site selection and economic development leaders while highlighting Tulsa’s momentum, business climate and long-term growth initiatives

Tulsa hosted Nathan Ohle, president & CEO of the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), to showcase the region’s momentum and connect directly with local companies and community leaders.

Manufacturers Council Meeting | May 2026
Forty people attended the Chamber’s Manufacturers Council Meeting hosted at Zeeco’s Global Headquarters, sponsored by J Mark.
The discussion included:
• Recent state legislative session
• Upcoming state and national elections and the importance of pro-business policy engagement
• Regional workforce and innovation initiatives, including Tech Week and the Oklahoma Talent Accelerator, aimed at strengthening talent pipelines across manufacturing and advanced industries
Lufthansa Expansion | March 2026
Lufthansa Technik Component Services (LTCS) celebrated the opening of its new expansion facility in Tulsa, reinforcing the company’s long-term commitment to the region and growing role within the global aerospace industry. The expansion increases the company’s maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) capacity.
• Added 25,000 square feet of new operational space to the Tulsa campus
• Created capacity for 90 new workstations to support continued growth and increased production
• Expanded LTCS’s Tulsa footprint to three facilities at Tulsa International Airport
• Announced plans to add an additional 57,000 square feet of workspace within the next 18 months

Accounting & Finance Talent Pipeline Initiative
The Tulsa Regional Chamber brought together nearly 70 employers, educators and workforce partners for a productive discussion on workforce development strategies and talent needs within the industry.
• Participants heard from Tulsa Tech on the growing importance of apprenticeships and the role Tulsa Tech is playing in helping employers build strong early-career talent pathways
• Additional insight was shared by Northeastern State University on strategies for recruiting and retaining experienced professionals
Regional College and University Presidents Luncheon + Regional Superintendent Luncheon
Chamber Workforce & Talent Development staff convened 11 superintendents and assistant superintendents from regional school districts and career tech centers, as well as 7 college and university presidents, for collaborative discussions focused on education, workforce and economic priorities shaping the future of the Tulsa region.
• Discussed strategies for aligning talent development, academic programs and workforce pipelines with the evolving needs of regional industries and employers
• Addressed legislative, economic and community factors impacting education systems, student outcomes, tourism, workforce development and broader regional competitiveness
