Tulsa visitor spending continued to show strong growth as visitors spent $1.4 billion in 2022, an increase of nearly 13% that increased spending by $150 million, surpassing prepandemic levels for the first time.

ECONOMIC & EMPLOYMENT IMPACT HISTORIC IMPACT Direct visitor-supported employment expanded 8% in 2022, adding an additional 905 jobs to Tulsa’s visitor economy. Visitor supported employment reached 102% of pre-pandemic levels.

EMPLOYMENT GROWTH Visitor activity sustained 12,618 direct jobs in 2022, with an additional 3,134 jobs supported from the indirect and induced impacts of visitor activity. The total jobs impact recovered to 15,751 in 2022, approximately one of every 25 jobs (4%) in Tulsa.
