The Tulane School of Liberal Arts Magazine, published twice a year by Tulane University's School of Liberal Arts Dean’s Office, explores the school’s approach to larger questions and issues in the social sciences and humanities, faculty research and teaching methodologies, and student service and creative endeavors, celebrating the broader definition of a liberal arts education. The Fall 2019 WATER ISSUE demonstrates the many lessons that can be learned from water, from the political to poetical. Including articles on water rights, flooding, and struggles between tourism and the natural environment to Leonardo da Vinci's fascination with water and curriculum surrounding the Mississippi and Colorado Rivers, the School of Liberal Arts at Tulane explores the interdisciplinary nature of how water transforms our everyday lives. This issue features articles by professors Guadalupe García, Leslie Geddes, Andy Horowitz, Dennis Kehoe, and Rebecca Snedeker, and Tulane students Chloe Tucker and Adam Goldstein.
