W.A.V.E. STANDARDS OF EXCELLENCE The W.A.V.E. of Excellence breaks down the expectations for each chapter within the fraternity & sorority community at Tulane University. Through the W.A.V.E. of Excellence Standards Accreditation program, chapters will have the ability to earn points for the programs they host and the administrative processes they manage throughout their chapter’s election year. In 2023, through collaboration with fraternity and sorority stakeholders, the W.A.V.E. of Excellence program was created to uplift and reflect the priorities of fraternities and sororities on today’s college campus. This program focuses on the key values of Well-Being, Accountability, Values, and Empowerment while also allowing chapters to receive Riptide Bonus points for their innovative approach to our values. These categories were specifically chosen based on the values that fraternities and sororities at Tulane feel are reflected most in their community. These categories will determine the chapter standings for the following year and award eligibility for each organization. Lastly, W.A.V.E. serves as an assessment tool to understand the full impact of the OFSP Community, areas of growth for our chapters, and opportunities for realignment. This includes everything from the amount of community service and locations of philanthropic donations to the connections with International Headquarters and other organizations on campus. This was our first year hosting the WAVE Awards to highlight the achievements of the organizations through this program, and we can proudly say that our chapters completed incredible work!

Membership Data At first glance, our overall numbers may suggest a decline. However, a closer look reveals meaningful growth within the IFC community. We have seen strong increases in both IFC Recruitment Registration and individual chapter membership. From Spring 2025 to Spring 2026, six chapters grew in size, with three chapters adding 15 or more members. This momentum reflects increased interest in IFC organizations and has prompted active discussions around potential IFC expansion in the upcoming academic year. At the same time, it is important to acknowledge factors that impacted the overall totals. Two chapters were placed on interim suspension during the Spring 2026 semester, which stopped their recruitment efforts. Additionally, by June 2026, IFC experienced the loss of three member organizations. The current figures reflect the community without these organizations included.

Membership Data The 2023–2024 academic year reflects a significant increase in membership, driven by enhanced visibility and the addition of a new organization. In the following year, NPHC experienced the loss of an organization, which contributed to a decrease in overall membership. At present, this represents a more balanced distribution, as it reflects membership intake across all active organizations. Looking ahead, we will continue to prioritize conversations around engagement and membership intake. NPHC will also reengage in discussions regarding expansion, particularly in response to increased interest in organizations that are currently dormant.

Membership Data This year, we partnered with our RFM Specialist to evaluate our approach to setting total, with a focus on overall community health and perceptions of COB eligibility. These discussions led to the implementation of a new method for establishing community total. While this change resulted in decreased membership in some chapters, others experienced growth, reflecting a more balanced distribution across the community. In the previous year, Panhellenic membership increased, largely due to the introduction of the secondary pool during recruitment. This year, we saw continued growth within the secondary pool, reinforcing its role as an effective tool for expanding access and opportunity within the recruitment process. Additionally, we reframed our training approach for RFM, Campus Director, and Single Intentional Preference decisions to promote a clearer understanding of these processes and increase awareness of options available to PNMs. While we observed an initial decline in bids offered, driven by an increase in single intentional preferences, this shift corresponded with a notable improvement in retention from Bid Day through Initiation across the community.

OFSP PROGRAMS Sexual Violence Programming OFSP hired a Student Intern to help increase relatability with our Sexual Violence Programming. This included more interactive programming, like Is it a Red Flag or Green Flag and giveaways to help combat stigma around consent and reporting. Each month featured a new avenue of educational programming with corresponding resources.

Mardi Gras Meeting This initiative is to assist our Chapter Officers in managing a safe Mardi Gras experience through a comprehensive review of OFSP Social Event Policy, New Orleans Municipal Code Review by TUPD, and incorporating new initiatives such as the blockade efforts on Broadway St.

OFSP PROGRAMS Presidents’ Tsunami This program is a 1-day intensive held at the beginning of each semester to help student leaders in their role as Chapter President. We cover a variety of topics, including our Title IX and Student Conduct partners, CliftonStrengths for personal growth, and the Wave Standards of Excellence review.

Officer Current A new initiative for Chapter Leadership to build community and receive ongoing support in their roles. We have also featured campus partners to share their resources with student leaders and provide relevant updates that may impact their chapters. This year’s schedule included Red Zone, Title IX and Reporting, Alumni Engagement, Officer Transitions, NARCAN Training, and Being a Good Neighbor.

Denim Day As part of our All-In initiative, Denim Day is a powerful opportunity to stand in solidarity with survivors of sexual violence and raise awareness about consent, victim-blaming, and support. This year, OFSP provided themed denim totes and popsicles, and SAPHE was able to provide decorated patches and digestible information. Tulane University | 2025-2026 OFSP Annual Report | 20

OFSP PROGRAMS OFSP PROGRAMS Recruitment Efforts This year, due to the Academic Calendar, Panhellenic Formal Recruitment efforts had to be shifted over a period of two weekends, rather than one consecutive week. While difficult, this change proved to be one that helped the community as a whole and sparked continued participation in the Recruitment Process.

Love the Boot We had many members participate in Love the Boot where we collected 55-gallon bags of litter from the waterways and natural environments of New Orleans, Louisiana! This is an Annual partnership with Tulane’s Office of Sustainability to help foster Social Responsibility within our members and beautify our beloved New Orleans!

Social Event Training This new initiative is designed to help key officers of social events host and manage safe social events. Student leaders learned about components of social risk management, safety of members, local policies and laws, bystander intervention tools and relevant practices to ensure a safe and fun event. We also highlighted our new trash management plans and the New Orleans Municipal Code review and expectations from TUPD. Tulane University | 2025-2026 OFSP Annual Report | 21

OFSP EXECUTIVE SUMMARY We were thrilled to celebrate the W.A.V.E. Standards of Excellence program through our inaugural W.A.V.E. Awards Ceremony. This milestone provided a meaningful opportunity to recognize the collective efforts of our community, engage our campus partners, and bring to life a vision first imagined three years ago. We are already looking ahead with excitement as we begin planning for the 2026 W.A.V.E. Awards. Another significant evolution this year was Panhellenic Recruitment. We transitioned to a two-weekend model that included a virtual Open House round and the implementation of a Code of Ethics. While this decision initially generated mixed feedback, it ultimately proved to be a strong success. Members reported feeling more rested, better prepared, and more confident throughout the process. Based on this positive response, this structure will continue for the 2027 recruitment cycle to further support student well-being and success. This year also brought moments of challenge and transition for our community. We successfully welcomed two new team members after beginning each semester with staff vacancies. At the same time, the loss of three chapters within the IFC community significantly impacted both chapter operations and council leadership. Looking ahead to 2026–2027, a central focus will be addressing our community’s unmet needs. Through both quantitative and qualitative data, we have identified a clear opportunity for expansion across all councils. We anticipate this leading to the addition of new organizations in the coming years. This summer, we are also excited to onboard a new team member as we prepare for the upcoming academic year. We look forward to continuing this work and building on this year’s momentum.
