About Us
Founded in 1980, The Tufts Daily is an independent student-run newspaper and regularly ranked among the top 10 student newspapers in the nation. Tufts is the smallest U.S. college to support an independent studentrun daily newspaper and we are the only daily news outlet to serve the over 130,000 members of the Tufts community and alumni network. All of the Daily’s engaging coverage of Tufts’ four campuses and in its host communities can be found on its consistently updated website devoted to upholding its motto: “Where you read it first.”

Ad Design Inserts
The Daily will design ads for our clients at an additional fee. Services must be requested at least five business days before the run date.
The Daily will print and insert or insert pre-printed flyers in print papers. Flyer dimensions must be 8.5 x 11 in. or smaller. Services must be requested at least five business days in advance of the run date.
Fall ’26 Production Calendar
Ad Policy
The Business Director and Managing Board reserve the right to reject the publication of any advertisement in The Tufts Daily and its affiliated media, including the Daily's website and social media pages.
The Tufts Daily will not publish content that contains libelous, false, misleading or threatening information. Advertisements that contain profanity, hate speech, or sexually explicit content, promote violence or other activities prohibited by local, state or federal law, or contain other objectionable content that expressly violates the Daily's Constitution will be rejected.
All print advertisements need to be submitted at least one week prior to publication. If changes are requested, the advertiser and the Managing Board must agree on the proposed changes and create an updated version of the advertisement at least 24 hours prior to its intended publication. Advertisers must submit their proposed digital advertisements at least 48 hours prior to their intended publication in order to facilitate a thorough review process.
The advertiser and/or advertising agency agree to assur liability, jointly and severally, for the content of any advertisement they have caused to be published in The Tufts Daily and affiliated media. Claims arising from such publication include, but are not limited to, claims for libel, invasion of privacy, commercial appropriation of one's name or likeness, copyright in-fringement, trademark, trade name or patent infringement, commercial defamation or false advertising. Additionally, the advertiser and advertising agency agree to indemnify, defend and hold The Tufts Daily harmless for all claims (whether valid or invalid), lawsuits, judgments, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses of any nature resulting from or caused by the publication of any advertisement placed by the advertiser or advertising agency.
The Tufts Daily reserves the right to insert the words "paid advertisement" or the name of an advertisement's sponsor in any published advertisement.
Advertising designs produced by The Tufts Daily shall be its property and shall not be reproduced or used without the Daily's consent. Contact us if you would like to use your Daily-designed advertisement elsewhere for an additional fee.
All political advertisements must include a "paid advertisement" label prominently displayed, along with a clear disclosure identifying the individual or organization that paid for the advertisement. The Tufts Daily will not publish political advertisements in any special editions, The Tufts Daily reserves the right to determine, at its sole discretion, whether an advertisement is political in nature,
