The Jerry S. Rawls College of Business offers programs in all areas of business while advancing knowledge through research, providing community service, and supporting development of business in the global economy. AACSB International, the national accrediting organization for business and management programs, fully accredits the baccalaureate programs in business administration.
Majors Accounting Accounting is a business discipline where students learn to prepare and interpret key financial statements. Students have the option to participate in the 150-hour accelerated bachelor’s-to-master’s program, designed to prepare students to sit for the CPA exam. Careers include auditing, budget analysis, financial reporting, tax planning and cost accounting.

Undergraduate Certificate in IT The purpose of this certificate is to allow non-IT students to expand their knowledge of information technology.
This certificate allows non-finance students to expand their knowledge of finance so that they are prepared to participate in business and personal financial decisions that enhance value.
Students graduating from an accredited high school that have the required combination of high school class rank and college entrance test scores will automatically be admitted. The required SAT scores for assured admission are based on the math and critical reading portions only. T.S.I. – All applicants admitted to the Rawls College of Business must be TSI compliant. www.tsi.ttu.edu Transfer Students – Students transferring into the Rawls College of Business from another institution must have taken a minimum of 18 credit hours and have a 3.00 transfer GPA. Students transferring from another college within Texas Tech University will need to have completed a minimum of 18 credit hours with a minimum cumulative 3.00 Texas Tech GPA.
