Always an Extraordinary DAY ON SAFARI

A safari day starts with a pre-dawn wake-up call. As the sky brightens, you'll embark on an early morning game drive, the prime time to see wildlife beginning their day. With an expert guide, you'll track the Big Five and other majestic animals, capturing breathtaking moments in the sunrise's golden light. Afterward, enjoy a hearty breakfast back at camp or in a scenic bush setting.

Midday is spent at a leisurely pace, with options to relax by the pool, indulge in a spa treatment, or take a guided nature walk. Lunch is often a delightful spread featuring local and international cuisine.

As the afternoon cools, you'll set out on another game drive or perhaps a boat safari or bush walk, offering a different perspective of the stunning landscape. As the sun sets, you'll pause for sundowners, sipping on a favorite drink while watching the sky transform into brilliant hues.

Back at the lodge, a sumptuous dinner awaits, often served under the stars or by a roaring campfire. You end the day with stories shared around the fire, before retiring to your luxury tent or lodge, falling asleep to the sounds of the African wilderness.

Nothing compares to the magic of an African safari. It offers a rare chance to connect with nature, diverse cultures, and one another. Many describe it as life-changing. Experience the magic of the wild for yourself. Watch a video and discover what a day on safari looks like.

We Know NAMIBIA

Namibia captivates with its striking contrasts and vast, dramatic landscapes. The country’s rare plant species, magnificent wildlife, and incredible night skies offer some of the most mesmerizing scenery in the world.

From the colossal Fish River Canyon in the south to the iconic red sand dunes of Sossusvlei in the NamibNaukluft National Park, towering over 900 feet high, the country offers unparalleled natural beauty under expansive skies.

Further north, the Kunene region presents one of the planet’s harshest environments, where fog from the cold Atlantic sustains life in this living desert. Among these rugged terrains live the Himba people, one of the last nomadic tribes, adding cultural richness to Namibia’s diverse tapestry. Namibia’s hidden treasures await those seeking an authentic, unspoiled experience in landscapes that seem untouched by time.

We Know KENYA

Kenya has long been a top destination for safari seekers, offering a traditional “out of Africa” experience. Private ranches and conservancies, often partnerships between Maasai landowners and private safari camps, expand the land dedicated to wildlife conservation.

Kenya’s iconic geological features include Mount Kenya, Africa’s second-highest peak, and the Great Rift Valley, home to diverse wildlife.

The Maasai Mara is the most popular and renowned safari destination in Kenya, where huge herds of wildebeests travel across the plains during the annual Great Migration. A hot air balloon flight over the Mara is a must-do adventure.

Kenya’s lakes are a bird lover’s paradise. Lake Nakuru is famous for massive flocks of flamingos and serves as a sanctuary for rhinos and leopards.

Amboseli National Park is renowned for its dramatic views of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro and large tusked elephants.

The Laikipia region is a stunning highland area known for its diverse wildlife, including endangered black rhinos, and offers unique conservationfocused safaris amidst dramatic landscapes and vibrant Maasai culture. Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, one of our favorites in Laikipia, is celebrated for rhino rehabilitation, and superb game viewing with activities like game drives, horseback riding, and walking safaris.

The arid Samburu is another northern gem stretching along the Ewaso Nyiro River. It is home to elephants and large predators such as lions, as well as the rare northern species, known as Samburu 5 - reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich, and the gerenuk.

Eastern Kenya’s coastline along the Indian Ocean features white sandy beaches and rich aquatic life, making it the perfect place to end a safari with rest and relaxation.

We Know MADAGASCAR

Sometimes called “the eighth continent” for its biodiversity, Madagascar is home to 5 percent of the world’s wildlife and vegetation, most of which are exclusive to the island. Madagascar’s unique flora and fauna are matched by epic landscapes of unbelievable diversity; just 200 miles can take you from desert to rainforest and everything in between. Antananarivo is the colorful capital, with steep cobblestoned streets and beautiful colonial buildings. A journey through the interior of Madagascar takes you past terraced hillsides with fertile rice fields. Along the way, you’ll interact with the welcoming Malagasy going about daily life, working in the rice paddies, tending to their zebu cattle, riding ox wagons and walking along the dusty roads with their baskets balanced precariously on their heads.

Composed of two parts, the Andasibe Mantadia National Park is one of the most popular parks. The Analamazaotra is

home to approximately 11 species of lemurs. However, the real attraction is the Indri, the largest lemur, whose haunting wail can be heard emanating throughout the forest. Mantadia is a bird watcher and botanist paradise with numerous waterfalls and wonderful landscapes. Madagascar’s sights are endless. Explore the red iron oxide pinnacles of the Tsingy Rouge National Park and the Jurassic beauty of the desert canyon of Isalo National Park, where erosion has carved the sandstone into fantastic shapes.
