Why The Complete Plant Based Recipe Cookbook - 200+ Vegan Recipes is the Best Solution for Anyone Struggling with Meal Planning on a PlantBased Diet Trust Reviews Hey there! 😊 I wanted to hop on and share my experience with a cookbook that has been an absolute game-changer for me: The Complete Plant Based Recipe Cookbook - 200+ Vegan Recipes. Seriously, if you’ve ever tried to stick to a plant-based diet but found yourself completely lost in the kitchen, wondering what am I supposed to eat every day?, this one’s for you.

Why I Was Skeptical at First

🤨

Okay, I’ll be honest—I’m not one to jump on every new vegan cookbook I see. I mean, I’ve tried a few before, and they either left me with complicated ingredient lists (seriously, where do you even find Himalayan goji berries??) or recipes that sounded delicious but tasted like cardboard. 😩 And as someone who’s juggling work, family, and trying to stay healthy, I needed something simple, satisfying, and realistic. So, when I stumbled across The Complete Plant Based Recipe Cookbook, I was a bit skeptical. Over 200 recipes? Yeah, sure. Sounds impressive, but would they really be something I’d want to eat? But after a friend raved about it (she literally couldn’t stop talking about the chocolate chia pudding), I decided to give it a go.

My First Week Using It: The Good, the Bad, and the Surprising

🍽️

Let me just say—my expectations were blown out of the water. I tried a few dishes during the first week: the Creamy Mushroom Pasta, the Chickpea “Tuna” Salad, and (of course) the Chocolate Chia Pudding my friend kept harping on about. Each one was not only easy to make but actually tasty. I’m talking “even my skeptical meat-eating husband asked for seconds” tasty. 😅

What I Loved ❤️ 1. Simple Ingredients: None of that obscure stuff you’d only find in specialty stores. I could get almost everything at my local grocery store. No extra trips—thank you! 2. Variety: We’re talking everything from quick breakfasts to desserts that feel like cheating (but aren’t!). This made it so much easier to plan out meals for the whole week. 3. 30-Day Meal Plan: This was a lifesaver. If you’re someone who struggles to put together balanced meals, this plan lays it all out for you. I just followed along, and before I knew it, my week was set.

What I Didn’t Love So Much

😬

Not every recipe was a home run, though. The Lentil Loaf was a bit meh—maybe it was just my cooking skills, but it turned out kind of dry. I’m planning to tweak it a bit next time. Also, the cookbook’s a little heavy on the soy-based recipes, which is great for some, but if you’re avoiding soy, you might need to do a little swapping here and there.

Who This Cookbook is Perfect For If you’re new to plant-based eating or just struggling with keeping things interesting in the kitchen, this book is a treasure trove of ideas. Even seasoned vegans (see what I did there? 😉) will find some fresh inspiration in here.
