Hey everyone, I wanted to share my thoughts on the Super D Powerlifting Seminar DVD. Now, I’m not one to usually buy into these training DVDs or seminars (seriously, who even buys DVDs anymore? 😂), but this one came highly recommended by a couple of my gym buddies who were struggling to break through some serious strength plateaus. And trust me, as someone who’s been lifting for over 8 years, hitting those walls is beyond frustrating.

Why Did I Even Consider the Super D Seminar? Okay, a little backstory first: I was stuck at the same deadlift weight for months. My training was on point, nutrition dialed in, and I was getting enough sleep. But still… no progress. That’s when a friend mentioned Donnie Thompson’s Super D Seminar. You know Donnie, right? The guy who became the first man to total 3000 lbs in powerlifting. So when I heard he was breaking down his methods, I figured there might be something I was missing.

What’s the Hype About? The Super D Seminar isn’t your average powerlifting video. It’s like a masterclass where Donnie Thompson and John Gaglione (a top coach himself) walk through everything from squat technique to recovery strategies. Spoiler alert: The key isn’t just lifting heavy. It’s about fixing form flaws, adding flexibility, and understanding how to train smarter, not just harder. I decided to give it a go and bought the DVD, half expecting it to collect dust like other “game-changing” programs I’ve tried before. But to my surprise, it was packed with practical tips that I could immediately use. Like, who knew adjusting my hip position by a few inches could completely change my squat?

What I Liked About the Super D Seminar There’s a lot to like about this seminar, but I’ll break it down to the stuff that stood out most for me:

1. Focus on Longevity, Not Just Strength Donnie spends a lot of time talking about staying injury-free (something we all secretly worry about but rarely address). The Dungeon Pre-hab system he shares isn’t some boring stretch routine. It’s a targeted approach to bulletproof your joints and muscles. My shoulders used to kill me every time I benched heavy, but the tweaks he suggested have made a noticeable difference.

2. Thompson Style Squat Method
