Blessed are those who live themselves fully, with no doubt or hesitation, who know their sacred purpose like a hunger, oak tree in her majesty, owl in her night knowing, stream in her quiet singing marigolds with faces of joy.
be truly, wholly, fully yourself, breaking open the sacred seed planted within. Cherish the badger who ambles across Earth, the raven painting the sky, the horse galloping over meadow, see how they spark your own longing to run or fly into the arms of yourself, to know your name, the one that has always been etched in your heart from the very first moment.
May the fireflies light your way in the darkness, may the morning glory spark gratitude for a new day, may the witness of feather and hoof, leaf and light, reveal to you what it means to

After this I, John, looked, and there was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, robed in white, with palm branches in their hands. They cried out in a loud voice, saying, "Salvation belongs to our God who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!" And all the angels stood around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, singing, "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen." Then one of the elders addressed me, saying, "Who are these, robed in white, and where have they come from?" I said to him, "Sir, you are the one that knows." Then he said to me, "These are they who have come out of the great ordeal; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Do you reaffirm your renunciation of evil and renew your commitment to Jesus Christ? I do. Do you believe in God the Father? I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. Do you believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God? I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead. Do you believe in God the Holy Spirit? I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Gracious and loving God, Giver of all that is good, true, beautiful and life-giving: These pledges and the hearts of the people who offer them do so with faith-filled generosity. Each pledge represents one aspect of who and how we want to be as individuals and a community in the year ahead. The pledges we make this season, in a time of uncertainty are symbols and signs of our gratitude for the honor and responsibility of living the way of Love day after day after day. May they grow us spiritually and keep us mindful of the work we are called to do as brothers and sisters in Christ loving our neighbor as ourselves. May they be the first fruits of all we have and not what we have left over, so that we may live out as best as possible how you give to us. May we see them as our offering to you, sacred, holy, yet earthy, filled with possibilities. 8
May we hold this image in our hearts and our minds so as we live together in the year to come, we can see our very selves being part of this ministry reaching out and filling the streets with expressions of your love.

The congregation is invited to join. Eternal Spirit, Earth-maker, Pain bearer, Life-giver, Source of all that is and that shall be, Father and Mother of us all. Loving God, in whom is heaven: The hallowing of your name echo through the universe! The way of your justice be followed by the peoples of the world! With the bread we need for today, feed us. In the hurts we absorb from one another, forgive us.
Your heavenly will be done by all created beings! Your commonwealth of peace and freedom sustain our hope and come on earth! In times of temptation and test, strengthen us. From trials too great to endure, spare us. From the grip of all that is evil, free us. For you reign in the glory of the power that is love, now and forever. Amen.
