2021 Annual Pledge Drive! As we come to the close of this Annual Pledge Drive, now is the time for each of us to discern and to make a commitment, if we haven't already, to the financial support of our ministry. Over the years, many of us have found life-giving ways of being extensions of God's love through being members of this community. And we want everyone to be able to participate in supporting the ministry that we are gifted by God to share to help radically transform the world that we live in. One way of doing that is to make a pledge for the year ahead. Each of you is an important part of this faith community and together we create an open and inviting place of Belonging for anyone looking for a spiritual home. If you have not already offered your pledge, your "yes", your sign of support for who and how we strive to be in the world in the year to come, please consider doing that today!

Midweek Noonday Prayer We will continue to gather on Wednesdays at 12:00pm via Zoom for our short Noonday Prayer service from the Book of Common Prayer. If you cannot join us, we hope that you find this page a useful resource for taking a moment during the day to center yourself in prayer.
We will be ordering poinsettias again this year. The poinsettias will be 6 1/2" with multiple blooms, for $12.00 each. All Poinsettias will be red with gold foil. If you are requesting a flower in honor or memory of a loved one, please include their first and last name(s), which we will list in our Christmas Eve bulletin. Cultivating Sacred Space at Home This Advent season join us for the first four Wednesdays in December from 7-8pm on zoom, where we will explore the history and importance of cultivating sacred space within our own homes. We will spend two sessions building our altars together - gathering items from our home and sharing how these unique items help us create a sacred space where our roots can grow even more deeply in the sustaining soil of our faith. In our last session together, we will join in a prayer service commemorating what is known as the Longest Night, as we pray and meditate together with our home altars. We hope you can join us!
Abwoon Advent Offering The Advent season, we invite you to learn "The Lord's Prayer" in the original Aramaic. Using the commentary and translation by Neil Douglas-Klotz, participants will explore the pronunciation, textual roots, and sound meanings of Jesus' words. What is Next To New? Next To New thrift shop found its home at Trinity nearly 70 years ago, and proudly supplies our surrounding community with goods and services that foster dignity, respect and compassion. Next To New was founded by the Daughters of Trinity in 1957. The Daughters of Trinity were a group of women at Trinity Episcopal Church who met weekly to sew for a "worthy cause", such as hospital needs, the Red Cross and different mission trips. The original mission from 1957 still stands today though, to serve our inner-city community by providing affordable, previously owned clothing and homegoods, while raising money for other causes. led us in 2 seasonal prayer offering this year; Draw Me Nearer during Lent and Moving Inward this past summer. Toledo Streets Newspaper (TSN). Trinity will gather at 8:30am on Thursday, December 16th to pack lunches and we need YOUR help! Trinity will purchase the food but we will need 4-5 volunteers to help prepare lunches, and deliver them to the TSN offices. Click the image to join our team!!!
Trinity Book Club The Trinity Book Club has decided to take a brief hiatus for the holidays. We will gather next on Sunday, January 30th to discuss The Red Tent by Anita Diamant. Book Club leaders Kyle Grefe and Becky Koskinen are working with Lisa to fill out and firm up plans to do a multiweek series in 2022 on women friendship in the Bible and as soon as we have a plan we will follow up.

Summer Camp at Bellwether Farm Save the Dates: Camp for incoming 2nd through 12th graders will be offered each camp week beginning Sunday afternoon through Friday afternoon.
