STAY INFORMED All Saints' Day Necrology We celebrate the feast of All Saints' Day on Sunday, November 7th during which we will remember loved ones who have died, especially those who have recently passed on. Our service will include chanting a necrology, a list of the departed from our lives. The bulletin will include the necrology with names of any special loved ones whose loss feels particularly acute. Trinity Book Club Trinity’s book club will meet again on Sunday, October 31st, 6:308:00pm. We are reading Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir. Trinity’s book club strives to read fictional works that you wouldn’t necessarily find in a religious bookstore; rather, literary pieces in which we can explore “God moments”. Music & Art at Trinity Cathedral will host a BrownBag concert on October 20 featuring Nathan Carterette on the piano. All concerts in the series take place every other Wednesday through December at 12:00 p.m. and are free of charge. This season, the concerts are offered as an in-person event as well as being livestreamed on Facebook and the Trinity Cathedral website. More details on the programs are available online.
Diocesan Youth Event Volunteer Opportunity
Call for LGBTQ+ Episcopalians of all ages! The upcoming youth event is centered on identity, inclusion, and allyship. We are looking for Episcopalians who identify as members of the LGBTQ+ community to join us for storytelling and relationship-building on Saturday, November 6 in the afternoon/evening in Toledo. The youth will be reflecting on topics such as terminology and intersectionality; scripture and tradition; queer history and advocacy/policy; and mental health and allyship. If you are able to join us to talk about your experiences, or feel equipped to lead a session on one of the above topics in an informal/relational setting, please contact the Rev.
