Jonathan Daniels Pilgrimage You are invited to participate in the virtual celebration of Jonathan Daniels to be held on his feast day of Saturday, August 14 at 11 am CDT. Jonathan Daniels was an Episcopal seminarian who was killed in Haynesville, Alabama while advocating for racial justice during the civil rights movement. Every year, the Dioceses of Alabama and the Central Gulf Coast hold a pilgrimage commemorating Jonathan Daniels and the Martyrs of Alabama in Haynesville.
