STAY INFORMED June 2021 COVID Update Even though it was just last month we wrote with an update of our steps moving towards regathering, I write again now in response to Bishop Hollingsworth’s updated In-Person Gathering Guidelines to the diocese effective this past Sunday, June 13, 2021. We remain united and convicted as Followers of the Way by a faith calling us to stay out of the center of our own lives preferencing the health, safety and well-being of the broadest definition of our community. Bell Tolling for COVID Victims Friday, June 18, at 5:00 p.m., Trinity will mark the 600,000 U.S. lives lost to COVID-19 by tolling our bell 600 times, once for every thousand lives lost.

Bring your own picnics, chairs and blankets (they also have some seating). We will also order box lunches for our Toledo Streets vendors and invite them to join us as well! We’ll have live music and enjoy our time together. Parking is available: Four Seagate Parking Garage (connected to Trinity - apprx. 1 1/2 blocks from Levis Square we'll validate) Surface lot at 406 Madison Ave. at the corner of St. Clair and Madison (Parking in this lot is FREE)

DIOCESE OF OHIO Ukulele Day at Bellwether Farm Join Ukulele aficionado Chelsie Cree for a day of celebrating the ukulele on June 26. The fields and forests of Bellwether Farm will provide an excellent backdrop for making music together. The morning will consist of warming up, refreshing, and practicing together. After a farm-to-table lunch, players will enjoy a play-along of familiar and new tunes. Simple music will be sent in advance. Individuals of all skill levels, ages 10 and up, are welcome to join this fun and relaxing day of music and community. Registration is required.
Yoga Retreat at Bellwether Farm Join Valerie Williams in a yoga retreat at Bellwether Farm on July 23-24. Participants will practice meditation, intention-setting, and yoga amidst the fields, forests, ponds, and livestock of Bellwether Farm. A farm-to-table lunch will be served on Saturday. While the bulk of programming is scheduled for Saturday, participants are encouraged to arrive Friday evening for dinner, a bonfire, and overnight respite. The cost is $40 per person for Saturday only. A single retreat room is an additional $110 and a double occupancy room is an additional $150. Registration is now open. Toledo will host the biennial Solheim Cup Sept. 3- 6th. The Solheim Cup is the world’s most prestigious women’s professional golf team event, featuring the best U.S. players from the LPGA Tour and the best European players from the Ladies European Tour. The 2021 competition will take place at Inverness Club in Toledo, with an expected attendance of more than 150,000 spectators.
