YWCA Stand Against Racism Conference

The YWCA of Northwest Ohio will host a two-day online conference featuring legendary anti-racism activists and educators, discussing the impediments that Black families and children face in society today, and effective strategies to address them. Asian Americans Advancing Justice offers free, online bystander training Asian Americans Advancing Justice is partnering with Hollaback to offer free, online bystander training. Here is a list of upcoming training sessions: https://www.advancingjustice-aajc.org/anti-asian-hate It is a one-hour webinar covering the historical background of harassment of Asians and Asian-Americans, escalation of harassment, and most importantly, Hollaback’s 5D of Bystander Intervention (https://www.ihollaback.org/bystander-resources/; which can be used in any harassment situation.)

Trinity Text to Give
Building Faith Brick by Brick Intergenerational Class Every Sunday – April 11-May 23 11-11:30 AM Learning the stories of our faith takes time spent "wondering" and engaging the story in community. This spring we will hear stories of God’s saving activity through several Old Testament stories. Don’t have Legos, or don’t like Legos? No problem! Any building or art materials will do: Kinex, blocks, bunch’ems, magnet tiles, Playmobile, clay, play-dough, Kinetic sand, paper and markers, even Minecraft…the possibilities are endless! Our intergenerational class centers the experiences of children but is open to all ages who are interested in exploring Bible stories in new ways. (Parents and caregivers, I’d love to see what you build for each story – it’s a great way to have faith conversations with your children, too!)
