2021 SOLHEIM CUP This week Toledo is hosting the biennial Solheim Cup August 31 - September 6. The Solheim Cup is the world’s most prestigious women’s professional golf team event, featuring the best U.S. players from the LPGA Tour and the best European players from the Ladies European Tour. Regional Confirmations On Tuesday, September 14, Holy Cross Day, the West Mission Area will host a service of Confirmation with Bishop Hollingsworth at St. Michael's in the Hills. While Trinity does not have any candidates this time around, you are invited to come and celebrate those candidates that are being confirmed. Masks and social distancing will be enforced. The service will take place on the big lawn, near the foot of the cross.

In order to continue to provide free, meaningful curriculum to high school students across the Toledo region, Trinity's building partner, Leadership Toledo, depends on the generosity of sponsors, partners, and donors like you. Join them on Thursday, October 14 at Renaissance Toledo Downtown Hotel for the 17th annual Community Breakfast Fundraiser to support Leadership Toledo's youth programs . Local Godspell Performance Waterville Playshop is set to make a return to live musical theatre! TSN Vendor Lunch Team On the third Thursday of each month, Trinity prepares and delivers the vendors of our community partner, Toledo Streets Newspaper (TSN), lunch following their staff meeting. Trinity will gather to pack lunches on Thursday, October 21st, and we need YOUR help! Trinity will purchase the food but we will need 4-5 volunteers to help prepare lunches, and deliver them to the offices.

Music & Art at Trinity Cathedral begins the 43rd year of their BrownBag concert series on October 6 with an organ spectacular unveiling Trinity’s new Muller/Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ and featuring performances by Music Director Todd Wilson and Associate Organist Nicole Keller. All concerts in the series take place every other Wednesday through December at 12:00 p.m. and are free of charge. This season, the concerts are offered as an in-person event as well as being livestreamed on Facebook and the Trinity Cathedral website. More details on the programs are available online.

This documentary provides a look inside the life, ideas, and legacy of Pauli Murray, the first Black nonbinary Episcopal priest, legal activist, and poet. As a key legal architect for civil rights in the 20th century, Murray influenced individuals such as Ruth Badar Ginsburg and Thurgood Marshall. TSN Vendor Lunch Team On the third Thursday of each month, Trinity prepares and delivers the vendors of our community partner, Toledo Streets Newspaper (TSN), lunch following their staff meeting. Trinity will gather to pack lunches on Thursday, October 21st, and we need YOUR help! Trinity will purchase the food but we will need 4-5 volunteers to help prepare lunches, and deliver them to the offices.

DIOCESE OF OHIO BrownBag Concert at Trinity Cathedral Music & Art at Trinity Cathedral begins the 43rd year of their BrownBag concert series on October 6 with an organ spectacular unveiling Trinity’s new Muller/Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ and featuring performances by Music Director Todd Wilson and Associate Organist Nicole Keller. All concerts in the series take place every other Wednesday through December at 12:00 p.m. and are free of charge. This season, the concerts are offered as an in-person event as well as being livestreamed on Facebook and the Trinity Cathedral website. More details on the programs are available online.
