2021 SOLHEIM CUP Toledo will host the biennial Solheim Cup Sept. 3- 6th. The Solheim Cup is the world’s most prestigious women’s professional golf team event, featuring the best U.S. players from the LPGA Tour and the best European players from the Ladies European Tour. The 2021 competition will take place at Inverness Club in Toledo, with an expected attendance of more than 150,000 spectators. Promedica will host concerts and the Opening Ceremony at Promenade Park on Friday and Saturday. Find out more information about volunteering, tickets and events here. […]

DIOCESE OF OHIO Yoga Retreat at Bellwether Farm Join Valerie Williams in a yoga retreat at Bellwether Farm on July 23-24. Participants will practice meditation, intention-setting, and yoga amidst the fields, forests, ponds, and livestock of Bellwether Farm. A farm-to-table lunch will be served on Saturday. While the bulk of programming is scheduled for Saturday, participants are encouraged to arrive Friday evening for dinner, a bonfire, and overnight respite. The cost is $40 per person for Saturday only. A single retreat room is an additional $110 and a double occupancy room is an additional $150. Registration is now open. More information is available on the Bellwether Farm website.

Celtic Retreat at Bellwether Farm Bellwether Farm will host a Celtic retreat, "Exploring our Anglican Roots through Celtic Spirituality," on August 2-4. The retreat will venture into Celtic spirituality and the experience of God in all creation and how the life of the Celtic peoples became the roots of Anglican spirituality. We will explore Celtic prayer and Soul Friendship and close by looking for the next step of our journeys through the Celtic idea of Peregrinatio. The retreat will allow participants to take time to be out in nature and see God in farm activities or crafts. There will be times of prayer throughout the day, plus we will discover what goes into preparing farm-to-table meals and eating them, acknowledging that eating is also part of a life of prayer. Monday we will gather before dinner and we will end Wednesday morning after worshiping together. The retreat will be $270 for one person or $380 for two. Registration is required by July 23.

The publication highlights the collaborative work of our parishes, stories about individuals, mission projects, and youth events, in addition to more forward looking articles about how we can grow our parishes, deepen our love of God, and improve our evangelism skills. STAY INFORMED Jonathan Daniels Pilgrimage You are invited to participate in the virtual celebration of Jonathan Daniels to be held on his feast day of Saturday, August 14 at 11 am CDT. Jonathan Daniels was an Episcopal seminarian who was killed in Haynesville, Alabama while advocating for racial justice during the civil rights movement. Every year, the Dioceses of Alabama and the Central Gulf Coast hold a pilgrimage commemorating Jonathan Daniels and the Martyrs of Alabama in Haynesville. The Way of Love Book Group We will conclude our Way of Love Book Group on August 5th. This group has read and discussed chapters from Scott Gunn's The Way of Love: A Practical Guide to Following Jesus which coincided with Lisa's summer sermon series. All are welcome to join us via Zoom on Thursday for our final gathering.

TSN Vendor Lunch Team Trinity is excited to provide lunch for the Toledo Street's Vendors on August 19th. On the third Thursday of each month, Trinity supplies the vendors of our community partner, Toledo Streets Newspaper (TSN), with brown bag lunches! And we need YOUR help! Trinity will purchase the food but we will need 4-5 volunteers to help assemble the lunches and deliver them to the TSN Offices.

Pop Up Dinners Trinity Pop Up Dinners are a wonderful opportunity for parishioners to get to know one another better outside of the worship setting! We have just wrapped up our July Pop Up gatherings, and are looking for hosts for August and September. DIOCESE OF OHIO Pilgrimage at Bellwether Farm A Pilgrimage will be held at Bellwether Farm on Saturday, August 28 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Registration is required. The cost is $30.00 and includes lunch. You will have an opportunity to enjoy the serenity and beauty of hiking on the trails at Bellwether Farm. A pilgrimage is a spiritual retreat. It is a time when you can set aside your daily concerns and open yourself to the holy. Come spend time with God; experience the healing power of walking in nature. Church Life is the Diocese of Ohio’s quarterly feature magazine, published in March, June, September, and December. The publication highlights the collaborative work of our parishes, stories about individuals, mission projects, and youth events, in addition to more forward looking articles about how we can grow our parishes, deepen our love of God, and improve our evangelism skills.
