2021 SOLHEIM CUP Toledo will host the biennial Solheim Cup Sept. 3- 6th. The Solheim Cup is the world’s most prestigious women’s professional golf team event, featuring the best U.S. players from the LPGA Tour and the best European players from the Ladies European Tour. The 2021 competition will take place at Inverness Club in Toledo, with an expected attendance of more than 150,000 spectators. DIOCESE OF OHIO Ukulele Day at Bellwether Farm Join Ukulele aficionado Chelsie Cree for a day of celebrating the ukulele on June 26. The fields and forests of Bellwether Farm will provide an excellent backdrop for making music together. The morning will consist of warming up, refreshing, and practicing together. After a farm-to-table lunch, players will enjoy a play-along of familiar and new tunes. Simple music will be sent in advance, and all age 10 and up and all skill levels are welcome to join this fun and relaxing day of music and community. Registration is required.

Intergenerational Camp at Bellwether Farm Bring your family or "pod" to Bellwether Farm for a weekend of camp on July 2-4 or July 16-18! Following an Olympics theme, pods will participate in teambuilding activities, friendly competition, and traditional camp activities including arts and crafts, fishing, swimming, hiking, and canoeing. Participants will also work on the farm with Farmer Kyle, caring for both plants and animals, and in the kitchen helping Chef Lonny prepare delicious farm-to-table meals. Evenings will include bonfires and s’mores, movies, stargazing, and large group games. Mornings and evenings will also include family-friendly prayer and reflection. Pods are responsible for supervising themselves and abiding by Bellwether Farm rules, with staff members organizing and coordinating activities. Pods can choose to stay in a retreat room with a private bath, or a cabin (sleeps up to 10). For questions, please contact the Rev. Anna Sutterisch.

STAY INFORMED June 2021 COVID Update Even though it was just last month we wrote with an update of our steps moving towards regathering, I write again now in response to Bishop Hollingsworth’s updated In-Person Gathering Guidelines to the diocese effective this past Sunday, June 13, 2021. We remain united and convicted as Followers of the Way by a faith calling us to stay out of the center of our own lives preferencing the health, safety and well-being of the broadest definition of our community. Participants will practice meditation, intention-setting, and yoga amidst the fields, forests, ponds, and livestock of Bellwether Farm. A farm-to-table lunch will be served on Saturday. While the bulk of programming is scheduled for Saturday, participants are encouraged to arrive Friday evening for dinner, a bonfire, and overnight respite. The cost is $40 per person for Saturday only. A single retreat room is an additional $110 and a double occupancy room is an additional $150. Registration is now open. Trinity Youth Mission The Trinity Youth Mission, "Together we are CLE," will be July 26 - July 30 with Trinity Cathedral being the "hub" for youth from 7th to 12th grade. This is an urban mission, we will be working with the community to help outreach organizations such as the Urban Garden, The Friendly Inn, Trials for Hope, and a special Bike refurbishment project for the community called "Flats 2 Friendship". We will also be building community among the youth by going to an Indians game and going to the beach. Each youth is asked to participate in at least one of two fundraising events on either June 27 or July 11, both at the 10:00 a.m. service at Trinity Cathedral. Unfortunately, due to the circumstances we have all been experiencing, this is a last minute decision so youth who would like to be involved must confirm their participation by Sunday, June 27.
