2025 - Trinity Strategic Plan

Page 1

Twenty-five years, what a blessing! The Lord has been so gracious to sustain and enable Trinity Classical Academy to provide faithful service to our students and families for a quarter century! The Lord’s provision to Trinity is a living, breathing and ongoing testament of his faithfulness to our mission:

To offer a challenging education grounded in the Christian faith and classical tradition to produce young men and women of Virtue, Wisdom, Purpose and Courage.

We are grateful to have become a landmark institution in the Santa Clarita Valley as well as one of the leading Christian, classical schools in America. Trinity’s strategic priorities remain reflective of our mission and our hope to continue to provide an excellent “Education for Life.” This means teaching our children how to learn and how to think, helping shape their future success and preparing them for whatever is ahead. Enabling them to stand firm for Christ.

The priorities of our first Strategic Plan, 25 years ago, were selected to create and grow a K-12 Christian, classical school, graduating our first class in 2012. Since those early years, Trinity has grown exponentially from 28 students and 3 staff members in 2001 to over 700 students and 140 faculty, staff and coaches. We are privileged to serve a broader community than we ever imagined, including our students with special needs through the Imago Dei School as well as the independent learning community through Libertas Preparatory School and Libertas Live. This year Trinity will celebrate its 15 th graduating class, which will bring our Alumni total to 456 across the country and world!

In 2015, our top priority was to secure our permanent home, resulting in our current building and 9-acre campus, plus 46,000 additional square feet for future facilities. In 2021, we prioritized enhancing the student learning experience from every angle.

As we turn to the Strategic Plan 2025, we continue to focus on our students learning experience, the training and development of all our faculty, staff and coaches, along with expansion plans, beginning with full renovated science labs! Very exciting!

To serve our community remains an incredible joy and great privilege for me and I know for our team! I can’t wait to see what the Lord will do next for our children and how he will provide. It is with great hope, faith, joy and trust that the Trinity Trustees, Administration, faculty and staff look to the Lord for his grace and wisdom, in humility in pursuit to these strategic priorities. We press on together in service to the next generation for His Kingdom!

The Future

In recent years, Trinity Classical Academy has prayerfully laid the foundation for a bold and lasting vision for our campus. Through the development of a comprehensive master plan and the completion of a capital campaign feasibility study, we have taken meaningful first steps toward creating the spaces our students need to flourish in academics, the arts, athletics, and beyond. These projects will unfold over the next few years, beginning with the renovation of two science labs in the summer of 2026. Following, we will focus on the rest of Phase I, which includes the gymnasium and events center. We move forward with hopeful anticipation, trusting in God’s providence and perfect timing. This vision is far greater than any one person or moment—it will require the faithful partnership, generosity, and prayerful support of our entire community to bring it to life for this generation and the ones to come.
