Scholarships Available

Academic Scholarships

All students wishing to apply for an Academic Scholarship must sit the Academic Assessment Services (AAS) Scholarship Test held online at the student’s home on Saturday 2 May 2026, from 8.30am to 12.15pm.

An application fee of $125 is required when registering with AAS. Interested students are required to register online via the Trinity Anglican College website before the closing date.

Please note: testing will not be permitted unless the application fee has been paid and a 10-minute preparation test has been completed by Tuesday 28 April 2026.

Remission

50% of the annual Tuition Fee is dependent on academic performance in the AAS test and review of other documents supporting academic performance.

AAS Testing

Registrations with AAS close on Thursday 23 April 2026. Testing is scheduled for Saturday 2 May 2026.

Submissions & Evidence

All scholarship applicants are requested to provide a Portfolio including:

A cover letter written by the student outlining their interest in the scholarship and, if not yet enrolled at Trinity, why they are interested in enrolling (max two pages)

NAPLAN - most recent (plus additional years).

Two most recent school reports that include teacher comments.

Any other supporting (academic-related) documentation

Evidence of high achievement in co-curricular activities within the school environment or local community.

Results in academic competitions

Evidence of leadership roles (if applicable).

Other academic evidence

*AAS results are sent directly to the College, therefore not required to be included as part of the application. These results are kept confidential to the College.

Interview

Students shortlisted based on academic performance will be invited for an interview

Sports Scholarships

Remission

50% of the annual Tuition Fee is dependent on meritorious performance and review of other documents supporting excellence in sport (state or national representation)

Applications

Applications close on Thursday 23 April 2026, at 10.00am. Interviews conducted in Term 2, 2026.

Submissions & Evidence

Students applying are required to submit the following items in their portfolio: A cover letter written by the student outlining their interest in the scholarship and, if not yet enrolled at Trinity Anglican College, why they are interested in enrolling (max two pages).

Provide an overall summary of major event results, including evidence to verify these results.

A personal reference, such as a sports coach, instructor, mentor, etc

Two most recent school reports that include teacher comments

Any other supporting (merit-related) documentation.

An application fee of $50 payable to the College is required when submitting a Sports Scholarship Application.

Interview

Students shortlisted based on meritorious performance will be invited for an interview.

Performing Arts Scholarships

Remission

50% of the annual Tuition Fee is dependent on meritorious performance and review of other documents supporting excellence in music, singing, dance or drama.

Applications

Applications close on Thursday 23 April 2026, at 10.00am. Interviews conducted in Term 2, 2026.

Submissions & Evidence

Students applying are required to submit the following items in their portfolio:

A cover letter written by the student outlining their interest in the scholarship and, if not yet enrolled at Trinity Anglican College, why they are interested in enrolling (max two pages)

List of relevant performance results in the chosen area of interest. Provide an overall summary of major event results including evidence to verify these results.

A personal reference from a relevant teacher, tutor or mentor.

Two most recent school reports that include teacher comments

Any other supporting (merit-related) documentation

An application fee of $50 payable to the College is required when submitting a Performing Arts Scholarship Application.

Interview

Students shortlisted based on meritorious performance will be invited for an interview.

Indigenous Scholarships

Remission

50% of the annual Tuition Fee is dependent on meritorious performance and review of other documents.

Applications

Applications close on Thursday 23 April 2026, at 10.00am. Interviews conducted in Term 2, 2026.

Submissions & Evidence

Students applying are required to submit the following items in their portfolio:

A cover letter written by the student outlining their interest in the scholarship and, if not yet enrolled at Trinity Anglican College, why they are interested in attending (max two pages)

Evidence of high achievement in co-curricular activities within the school environment or local Indigenous community.

A personal reference, such as a teacher, Principal or Senior Indigenous Community Member.

Evidence of leadership roles (if applicable).

Other academic evidence

Two most recent school reports that include teacher comments. Any other supporting (merit-related) documentation

There is no cost associated with an Indigenous Scholarship Application

Eligibility

Australian citizen who identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander (applicant must supply a Certificate of Aboriginality).

Interview

Students shortlisted will be invited for an interview.

How to apply

Step 1

Identify the desired scholarship and review the submission requirements. All Academic Scholarship applications and testing is managed by the AAS. All application details are available on the Trinity Anglican College website: www.trinityac.nsw.edu.au/enrolments/scholarships

Step 2

For Academic Excellence Scholarships, register with the AAS for testing requirements. Submit all required documentation by the closing date. For Sports, Performing Arts and Indigenous Scholarships, refer to submission requirements and submit via the College website by the closing date

Applications for all scholarships close on Thursday 23 April 2026, at 10.00am. Testing for Academic Scholarships, only, will be conducted on Saturday 2 May 2026 from 8.30am to 12.15pm.

Step 3

Successful Scholarship applicants will be invited for an interview in Term 2, 2026. Unsuccessful applicants will be notified in writing.

NEW Enrolments

New students will need to include an Enrolment Application Form and required documentation with their scholarship application

Scholarship Conditions

Scholarship conditions for successful students, will be outlined in the letter of offer.

These conditions may include the following:

Maintain a high academic level

Remain in good standing with the College in relation to:

Behaviour and effort

Attendance and engagement in College life

Compliance with other expectations

Participate in the co-curricular activities

High standards of citizenship

Show support for the leadership role that is implicit for all scholarship holders

This includes being a positive role model for both peers and younger students, displaying leadership by encouraging and supporting other students, and fostering team and College spirit.

The College will reserve the right to terminate the scholarship in the event of gross or continued breaches of expectations, an unwarranted decline in academic achievement or application, or persistent failure to support the College’s CoCurricular Program.

Our scholarships are subject to annual reviews which consider behaviour, general application and progress, and ongoing maintenance of the requirements of the selection criteria of the scholarship awarded.
