A parent should be standing at the pickup/drop off point to meet their child (applies to younger children) when getting on and off the bus. This means at the bus stop, not in vehicles on opposing sides of the road. Parents must supervise their own child's behaviour and not rely on other parents to undertake this task. The driver will not be able to leave students at the stop (especially the younger children) without an adult being present. If there is no adult present, the student will be returned to school and from where they must be collected.
