APRIL 17, 2026 Initiation
Hello Brothers! Since the start of this term, our new E-board has been hard at work transitioning into their roles and responsibilities. We are mostly sophomores and are excited to grow the chapter to a state even better than it was when we pledged. So far, our focus has been on recruiting quality new members and strengthening our brotherhood through house improvements and events.

We also have some alumni initiatives we will be implementing, so stay tuned for those!
We have an exciting term ahead of us, packed full of events as we near the end of the academic year. As we move on from the charity broomball event “Winterfest” (which we’ve raised over $10,000 for!), we're looking forward to our signature winter philanthropy event:
Casino Night! We host this event in partnership with the engineering sorority on campus, Phi Sigma Rho, to raise money for a charity that gets voted on by the active brotherhood. In the past, this has been Habitat for Humanity and FIRST Robotics.
After our philanthropy events, we are excited to take a break from academics and go to Toronto for our annual winter
formal! It will be a fun-filled weekend and the perfect way for brothers to bond as exam season starts to take over. We’ll have pledge class dinners, trips to the CN Tower, and more.
Finally, we have two great events to end the year! We will be celebrating the 101st
Founders Day on Sunday, April 12th, and initiating our newest pledge class on April 17th. Please make sure to RSVP for our Founders’ Day celebration using the QR Code or link attached so we can make proper arrangements. We’ll be having food, good times, and an alumni bar crawl, with even more events to be planned and put on.

Presidential Address
Hello Brothers,
I am Jack Galasso, current President of the Michigan Chapter of Triangle I am currently in my sophomore year, studying physics with an electrical engineering minor. Previously, I served as pledge class president, academic chair, house improvements, house manager, risk manager, and new member educator. Over these past few years, I have reaped the benefits of a burgeoning chapter. We saw over a 57% increase in individuals initiated from 2024 to 2025. Additionally, live-in numbers increased from Fall of 2024 to Fall of 2025. If you asked any brother about the status of the chapter, you would see an overwhelming sense of optimism, especially amongst those who saw the state it was in a few years ago. I have made it my goal to transition from a fraternity focused on surviving to one that is thriving
As stated previously, I have committed my time, resources, and energy to Triangle in a number of different ways. Having worked directly with 4 branches of the executive board and the president prior to my election, I have seen a number of successes and failures alike. Additionally, I received professional leadership coaching at the leadership training weekend alongside continued support from Michigan Triangle alumni, such as Ryan Skop, mich11 and Bob Halgren, mich05. I am adequately prepared to lead the chapter through continued growth.
My number one goal will continue to bring a variety of talented, intelligent, and social individuals with a stem background to Triangle. Moreover, I want to continue to push these ambitious brothers to contribute to Triangle with their various skill sets. I am of the firm belief that each active brother has the ability to
positively impact the chapter in a way no one else can replicate. So, extracting the most from each person will remain a priority. Finally, I want to make the chapter, and specifically the exec board, more efficient. As engineers and scientists, we all understand the importance of efficiency. Yet, tasks still end up becoming redundant or, even worse, not completed properly due to a plethora of factors. I will work to eliminate this. I will make sure that the efforts of brothers turn into comparable results.
Finally, I wanted to thank you all for your generous contributions to our winterfest fund. Your donations are not only supporting the Autism Alliance and the Women’s Center of Southeastern Michigan, but you are also giving the brothers an opportunity to compete in the broomball tournament We will have raised over $10,000 as a chapter! This is something all the brothers and pledges alike are super excited for. We will be sure to provide
updates on the situation. So, from all the brothers at Michigan, thank you very much. If you have any questions, updates, advice, or anything at all, feel free to reach out to me personally at johngala@umich.edu. Thank you all for your time and support.
