APRIL 18, 2026 Founders Day Event ...Details on page three. Hello Brothers and welcome to the Spring 2026 Aggie Newsletter. I have some positive news to share from the Chapter and KSR, and also ask for your help. First on all our minds, the active chapter is healthy and growing. They initiated two new members this fall, Brothers Harley Chen and Spencer Totten. Welcome to our new Brothers! For the spring, they they are headed into the critical recruitment semester with a robust pipeline of candidates and plans for solid growth. You will find some events listed later in this update, and we encourage you to attend and get to know the next chapter of our storied institution. Beyond growth in size, the KSR Board and I have noticed marked growth in the Chapter’s operation. I want to specifically commend our Coaches, Brothers Ryan Bratt, Brandon Montalvo, and Collin Shale. They are “in the trenches” on a day to day and week to week basis to coach and mentor the actives on the running of an effective organization. A lot of us take for granted the mentorship upperclassman provided us while we

were new in the chapter or an office role. The coaches are stepping in to provide that institutional knowledge and know-how as we rebuild. In that, I can say I’ve seen significant personal growth in our actives, and they’ve met the challenges head on.
Congratulations to this year’s winner of the Jason Prudlow Memorial Trophy, Brothers Kamil Karmali, Tyler Sutton, Jeremy Matus, and Chad Wetzel.
That personal growth is something that I think resonates in all of us. The Code of Ethics can seem an abstract concept to a nineteen year old taking a leap of faith to join an organization. I know it was for me. It’s only in being tested by life, school, family, or anything else can they understand what it is to live that Brotherhood. The house, the scholarships, the good times, and the bad times, all exist downstream of our culture. I think that culture is stronger today than it’s been in many years.
You’ve no doubtably seen our capital campaign appeals in past newsletters. We had many donors, large and small, come forward to provide the funds to kickstart the chapter. We provided the structure in the form of two years of hours rent and utilities, along with a chapter advisor, to get headed in the right direction. Additionally, we’ve restocked the house with new furniture for the first time since it was built, replacing many items in disrepair. And finally, we were able to provide a much needed cosmetic refresh to the front foyer to give the best first impression possible.
It’s also been a busy summer and fall for KSR. Our fall 2025 Annual Meeting happened before the golf outing. We welcomed three new board members, Brothers Ryan Bratt, Kevin Neives, and Tyler Fehser. I welcome them with open arms. Additionally, we had good success fundraising during the event that was attended by almost 40 brothers.
All of that is possible due to donations from our generous brothers. However, I’m asking for your help to keep the momentum going. KSR has two financial needs, one immediate and one longer term. In the immediate, the board took out a line of credit with the Triangle Building and Housing Corporation in 2022 to have operating funds for the 1
