BEFORE YOU BUY A DRIVER With all the new technology out there, it's so vital to make the correct choice when selecting a driver. Here are a few tips you should consider before selecting your next driver.
First, let's talk about distance; because the further you hit the ball, the easier you make the game. We all are looking for a driver that's going to give us a few more yards off the tee. By selecting a driver with high launch and low spin, it gives you the best chance to maximize your distance and get the most out of your driver. All these numbers or "vitals" as some Golf Professionals call it, can be measured using our FlightScope. By using this doppler radar, we are able to get some crucial numbers such as clubhead speed, ball speed, smash factor, launch, and spin rate.
Our approach is to make sure we dial in all of your numbers. Ignoring any number would be a mistake, espically in the fitting process.
In addition to all the numbers we then start to focus on the shaft. The shaft gives you the best shot dispersion from left to right and short to long. Furthermore, the proper shaft will give you your best spin rate, ball flight, and clubhead speed. So the next time you're looking to buy a driver, please consider scheduling a fitting. By doing this, there is no doubt that you will get the most out of your game and equipment.
