December was a record breaking month for us at Tremains Wairarapa as well as the pretty much the entire country, with January starting off strong with huge buyer interest in our listings and new listings coming live as we are well into January now.

We expect to see another strong few months during the summer. Locally in Masterton we saw the median sale price rise to $580,000 versus $477,000 last year plus a rise in the number of sales. Carterton with a huge increase in median sale price which was $601,000 versus $450,000 December last year also with a decrease in median days to sell which was 27
