Lisa was wonderful to deal with - she was utterly professional, but brought heart to what can often be a stressful, transactional experience. She helped us into the perfect home for us, whilst working hard to ensure the best outcome for her vendor. Thanks so much Lisa S A R A H WA L M S L E Y
Lisa Burn You already know that selling or buying your home can be stressful. What if I told you that it doesn’t have to be. What if I told you I can make it easy for you. What if you knew you can secure the absolute best price for your home? Would you feel more comfortable? I’m Lisa, and I do things around here a bit differently. You won’t always see my cheeky side (although my friends may disagree there), but what you will see is solid negotiation skills, coming from years in business. You will also see someone you can totally trust, and, I don’t say that lightly. The truth is I’m great at selling real estate. And that’s super important for you to know. I’m also great at supporting you to get what you want. Because, hey, that’s why you engage with an agent you like and trust, right! It’s that simple! I’m ready when you are.

What my clients are saying Lisa was amazing – she really listened to what I was looking for and helped find a property that’s absolutely me! Lisa had her finger on the pulse, constantly going the extra mile with her positive energy. She had the ability to remove the stress and made buying a property exciting!
Rachel Terry
I believe she went the extra mile to ensure we were 110% satisfied. Bright and bubbly and made the whole experience enjoyable.

Lisa Burn is an amazingly detailed and focused real estate agent she committed to selling our home at a certain value and delivered to that within a month, which was the timeframe we asked Lisa to sell our rental within. Lisa is easily able to build trust and has a natural ability to be able to read people/situations which is something I consider invaluable when dealing with such a large investment. Lisa was selling our rental and with that came a few obstacles, she overcome these by focusing on solutions and keeping me informed at all times. If you are looking to sell your home or investment property I highly recommend Lisa. She is a focused agent and from experience will give 100% from the listing through to the sale.

First impressions count, especially in the real estate business. That’s why it is important to thoroughly prepare your property for sale.
Present your property in the best light with these tips Kitchen
Windows
Many home buyers consider the kitchen to be the most important room of the house. When they look at your kitchen, they’ll pay attention to the cleanliness, layout and storage capacity. Make sure all appliances are spotless, fix dripping taps, tighten loose cabinet hardware, and change outdated light fittings.
Clean windows inside and out. Replace cracked glass, broken sashes and cords. When your home is being shown, open curtains to let in as much light as possible.
Storage Remove half of what’s in the wardrobes and storage areas to make them look bigger. This might be a good time to throw out, donate or sell things you no longer need. Remove excess furniture, even if it’s only temporarily, to make rooms seem spacious. Garages often end up as a dumping ground so make sure they are well organised and give prospective clients the impression that there’s plenty of room for their belongings.
Outside Your buyers will make their initial assessment of your property as soon as they see it. Mow the lawns, weed the gardens, trim back overgrown trees and sweep up leaves. A neat and tidy entrance also creates a positive first impression.
Walls and Ceilings Repair any cracks in the walls or ceilings and repaint if necessary. Clean finger marks off high-traffic areas and get rid of cobwebs. Consider replacing outdated wallpaper.
Floors Carpeting has a major impact on the look of a home. Vacuum thoroughly or have it professionally cleaned. If it is badly worn, or stained, consider having it replaced. Check if wooden floors need to be refurbished. Clean tile floors, and repair or replace cracked tiles.
Paint Take a good look at the paint on the inside and outside of your home, is it cracking, peeling or chipping? If it is, a fresh coat of paint for your exterior may cost you a bit of time and money, but may elevate your home from “fixer-upper” to “move in and enjoy.” If it does need painting, choose colours that are appropriate to the style of the house and that blend in well with the neighbourhood.
Roof Buyers will pay close attention to its condition. Paint corrugated iron or clean tiles, fix leaky corroded downpipes and gutters. Clean or repair watermarked ceilings as this is a sign to buyers that the roof has leaked, even if it has been fixed.
Open homes To put buyers at ease, we recommend you and your pets are absent during open homes. If you do stay, please let your sales consultant do the talking.

Come along on your real estate journey with me 01 Choose Tremains
05 Power up the network
So, you’ve made the decision to sell and want to get the best possible price. You’ve called Tremains - great start!
Arrangements are made for our team of sales consultants to visit so they can get a good feel for your home. They may already have buyers looking for a property just like yours, so this kind of networking is invaluable.
02 Working together Once you’ve found your perfect Tremains sales consultant, an initial meeting will be arranged to discuss your property and your goals. A free, no obligation market appraisal will follow including an in-depth discussion around your marketing options. This is a vital step in making you feel comfortable, confident and ready for the exciting sales process.
03 You’re on the market! Together we’ve decided on the best way to market your home and agreed on the sales method and price. You’ve signed a Listing Agreement with us, so now let us get on with selling your home!
04 Getting noticed The Tremains ‘for sale’ sign goes up. Photos are taken and the advertisements are written and placed in our property magazines. Window cards go up in the appropriate Tremains office. Flyers are produced by our marketing team and your property is listed on prominent property websites. Now you’ll get noticed.
06 Here come the buyers Your property will be discussed at weekly sales meetings and any one of our sales consultants can bring potential buyers through your property. We recommend having regular open homes too.
07 An offer is made When an offer is made this will be brought to you in writing for your consideration. Now the negotiations start. Having had weekly reports and regular discussion with your sales consultant, you’re in a great position to negotiate with a buyer.
08 You accept the offer Both parties reach an agreement and signed contracts go to the solicitors. While still marketing your property (just in case this contract doesn’t complete), your sales consultant will be co-ordinating with the buyer regarding any conditions on the contract until it goes unconditional.
09 The sold sticker The terms and conditions on the signed contract have been met - your property is sold!
10 Settlement day This is the day you’ve been waiting for. Once the solicitors have completed the money exchange, your solicitor will release the keys to the new owners. As a general rule of thumb, you’ll move out in the morning and the buyer moves in that afternoon.
Celebrate! Invite your friends and family over, pop the champagne and celebrate!
At Tremains, it’s a team effort
