On most of our walks there are easy and moderate options, so you can decide on the day if you’d rather take it easy or go a little further. Should you wish to put your feet up in your hotel or explore independently, it’s your choice to make.

HOW DIFFICULT ARE THE WALKS? Our Walk & Discover holidays are designed to appeal to anyone who would typically enjoy an escorted tour but would like to incorporate a little more activity. There is almost always a choice of an easy or moderate option. While a reasonable level of fitness is recommended, the easy walk should suit most travellers. Please refer to the itinerary online or request our new brochure for detailed information about each walk. We do our best to ensure this information is as accurate as possible, based on input from our local guides. WHAT SIZE IS THE AVERAGE GROUP? On each walk we prefer an intimate atmosphere, so you can expect around 12 to 18 people. Depending on the nature of the walk, the group may occasionally be slightly

larger. The wider group size will be around 40 people, mainly during coach transfers. WHAT WALKING EQUIPMENT DO I NEED? Good quality walking shoes or boots are a must. We also recommend a waterproof jacket, comfortable rucksack, hat, sunglasses, sun cream, water bottle and clothes that can be layered easily. Hiking poles are not necessary, but you may wish to take them. WILL THE ROUTES ALWAYS BE AS ADVERTISED? While we will always try to adhere to the route as advertised, we may be required to modify the itinerary due to local conditions. Our guides may also make minor changes to tailor the walk to the group.
