Furniture Designs and more
A showcase of my works in 8+ years from 2015 to 2024
With 8 years of experience as a Designer since 2015, I specialize in Furniture and Interior Design and Styling .
In 2009, I enrolled in Raffles College, a Singaporeanbased institution, majoring in Interior Design. I studied for 2 years in Ho Chi Minh City and 1.5 years in Sydney.
After college, I discovered my passion for Furniture Design. I worked as a Sales Designer at BoConcept in Ho Chi Minh City. In this role, I served as both a salesperson and a design consultant, gaining valuable experience working directly with customers and developing my business skills. After 1.5 years, I realized I preferred to focus on design rather than dealing with sales KPIs.
My career in furniture design advanced when I started working for District Eight . I worked on both Interior and Furniture projects and designed my first popular piece, the Cyrus Chair , which is now distributed internationally and can be easily found through Google or Pinterest searches.
In 2015, I decided to move back to my hometown of Danang, Vietnam, to help with my family business . We had a local furniture store, and I was in charge of design direction. We primarily worked with wood , so many of my subsequent designs were crafted from this material.
In 2024, I moved to Sweden to start a new journey with my sambo Samuel. It’s an exciting time for both my personal and professional life. I am seeking new opportunities in Sweden, a country whose furniture industry I have admired since my college days.

Borg Mirror features a transparent design, clean lines, and a simple silhouette. Its functionality is enhanced by a small tray on the side to store daily accessories such as keys, wallets, or jewelry.
Borg Mirror conveys a whimsical, playful, unreal, and visually appealing design language. The leg is constructed with a hidden metal base, making the entire structure sturdy and heavy enough to stand upright on its two legs in the middle of an open space.
TA - Set of 3 Mirrors was one of the first products I designed for The Rain Open House , a family business and emerging design studio in Da Nang, Vietnam.
The main material of the mirrors is plywood, and the shapes are cut by a CNC machine. The focal feature of the design is the brass knot, which serves as a mechanism to hang the mirror through the keyhole-shaped cutout.
The set of mirrors has become one of the best sellers at The Rain. People love them for their sleek design, versatile options that can match any space, low price, and ease of installation.
The cabinet design is inspired by the 1950s mid-century modern style, characterized by the popular use of dome curves. The rattan door adds a textural contrast to the aesthetic look. The nostalgic appearance of the cabinet brings a homey and cozy vibe to the space.
Following the successful launch of the product, I developed the design into a collection that includes a shoe cabinet, TV cabinet, and wardrobe.

“Kall” means “cold” in Swedish. It was a cold day, and I just wanted to be at home on the sofa. I love sleeping on the sofa.
In most cases, a sofa can be a bit too “plushy” to sleep on. My idea is to create a wooden base to give the sofa a floating, airy look. The seat cushion is more like a firm mattress, wide enough to serve as a daybed.
Two armrests curve out like little wings, where you can use them as a small station for a tray or books.
“Kall” brings a lot to my design language: soft, cozy, curvy, clean lines, and an eye-catching appearance.

The Block Low Stool is designed for the street-style coffee shop industry. Its design reflects raw materials and rustic vibes, showcasing joinery craftsmanship. With the increasing number of local Vietnamese coffee shops equipped with carefully designed pieces, the Block Low Stool is an excellent choice for both aesthetics and durability.
Puck is a restaurant and cafe located in the city center of Da Nang, offering a soft vibe and focusing on burgers and drinks. The art concept for Puck is clean, simple, and cozy, creating a space where architecture, design, and art blend seamlessly together.
The project involved renovating a 30-year-old building to give it a completely new and fresh look. I participated in the interior design and styling process, and I also designed some custom pieces for the project.
