Step By Step Step 1: Tie hair back or use headband to get as much hair away from your face as possible. Step 2: Apply face and neck with moisturizer. Step 3: Glue down eyebrows then apply a powder on top of the glue.
Step 4: Use black paint to outline eyes with ovals that come to a point near the crease of your nose. Also outline jawline with the same black to make your face look pointed. Step 5: Cover entire face with white face paint except for inside the black outlines. Wait for this to dry and go over your face again with a second coat of white. Step 6: After the white paint has dried completely apply the glow in the dark face paint and wait for it to dry. Step 7: For the second and final glow in the dark layer, apply a thick coat. Step 8: Next, use black eyeliner and paint the lids of the eye and about a half inch under the eye starting at the bottom lash line. Step 9: Fill in the rest on the outlined eye with black paint. Step 10: Lastly, cover your jaw and neck with black until you can't see skin.

Conclusion: Makeup committee was a lot of fun to work on but also harder than we thought. Figuring out what we wanted it to look like and creating the rendering was the easy part. Then when searching for the right products we found it hard to find projects we actually wanted to use and would be most beneficial. After we did find what we needed, it was also tricky figuring out the best way to apply the makeup. In the end we decided that brushes were best and and sponges were used only if we needed an extra thick layer. Finally we created the steps in this process and also spent time out of class creating a video tutorial. Together we worked very well and spread the work out evenly between us. We bounced our ideas off one another which made our work even better in the end. We grew closer because of this experience and learned how each other works. We also agreed that we are both proud of our final product. Things we could have done better was see how the glow in the dark actually looked outside instead of just in a dark room. Also, we should have taken into account how the costumes would affect the makeup like when the cape rubbed off a lot of the black makeup on the neck. We also took a lot from this experience and grew from it. We learned the importance of working as a team. Also, we realized how important it was to research thoroughly to get the best results. Working on this committee was more work than we initially thought but we are glad it wasn't as easy. It challenged us to really use our ideas and listen to each other. We came out of this more equipped with knowledge and experience.
