Coming back to that 2-1 win last Saturday, both goals were scored by our talisman Todd Jordan who has now reached double figures for the season. from the boss

Good afternoon all and welcome to Hartsdown Park. This afternoon we face Stansfeldinour17thleaguegameoftheseason,oneshyofthehalfwaypointinthe season.Stansfeldcurrentlysitin15thplaceintheleaguehavingwon5,drawn1and lost 8 of their games this season. A positive result for them today could see them move out of the relegation zone and we are certainly wary of the threat they pose The return fixture took place in the first week of October and saw us leave London with a 3-1 victory, all of the goals coming in the second half Stansfeld are a strong sideandIwouldnotbesurprisedtoseethemmoveawayfromthefootofthetable in the second half of the season. We will need to perform well today to build on our tworecentperformancesandmakeitthreewinsarow.

Our last home game saw us take on Canterbury City on Tuesday 18th November, a game in which we shrugged off the disappointment of the previous weekend's results to record one of our best wins of the season. Canterbury opened the game withagoodtempoandwereclearlykeentomakeamarkinthelocalderby.Thefirst ten minutes would be their best spell of the game however as we gradually took control of the contest, the momentum and the scoring. After 27 minutes Jake MundayranontoathroughballfromOllieHarris(apleasinglyregularcombination) to finish low into the far corner This goal would be the moment for us to take complete control of the game After 37 minutes Jake Munday doubled his tally, winning a header in front of the defender following a Curt Jordan flick on to see us enterthehalftimeperiodtwogoalstothegood.Thesecondhalfwasonewaytraffic and an excellent team performance saw us deservedly secure the win in empathic style.LewisRaycompletedanoutstandingteammovewhichsawussweeptheball from left to right and back again before John Argrides crossed and Ray slid in and converted from close range, one of the best goals we have scored all season. Ollie Harris deflected in a Todd Jordan free kick for our fourth goal and a Todd Jordan brace took the tally to 6. The first was finished from close range following another good team move whilst the second was a superb lob from distance with the oppositionkeepercaughtoffhisline.LukeHarveythenmarkedhisdebutfortheclub with an excellent first time finish after latching onto a fine through ball. A fantastic response all round and a performance to be very pleased with, one that we would looktobuilduponawayatCuxtonthefollowingweekend

The fixture at Cuxton took place in their adopted home of the Gallagher stadium, the residence of Maidstone FC. The game was a tight affair settled in fine style with just ten minutes to play. Todd Jordan opened the scoring from outside of the box just after ten minutes. This advantage was cancelled out a few minutes before half time following a long range Cuxton effort, via a deflection. The second half was a pattern of us dominating possession and territory and creating chances that we could notconvertwhilstCuxtonoffereda consistentthreatonthebreak. The telling moment came from the ever reliable Todd Jordan, a short pass from Luke Harvey saw Todd step into space and fire a left footed effort into the top corner from25yards,hisfifthgoalinthree games and a strike worthy of winning any game Defensive resilience was required in the last ten minutes and it was very pleasing to see out a close win away from home, in many ways more enjoyable and satisfying thanthemidweek7-0victory.
