Hello! Wherever you are, or whatever you do, it is your responsibility to ensure that ASPIRE is showcased in the most professional and dynamic way possible. Every effort you make goes a long way in creating a genuine and memorable ASPIRE experience for everyone who interacts with us. We want people to feel a warm, friendly, professional welcome when they see ASPIRE on display. We have a treasure trove of promotional material. This catalogue is just a taste of what is available or can be produced (within reason!). Use it to inspire your next event.

Displays ASPIRE has a number of banners and display items for different occasions. The branding of both ASPIRE and UNSW has evolved over the years, but all the banners on the following pages are good to use. We refresh items when funds allow.

General colour scheme: Metro ASPIRE: Blue Regional ASPIRE: Red Combined events/ showcase/VIP on campus: Teal

There are some fundamental rules for using display banners on-campus, at events off-site and in the community. Remember: we want to maximise ASPIRE’s exposure, so go all out where you can.

Set-up:

Entrances: Tear drop banners - including where our buses stop, walkways, outside buildings

Don’t be afraid to ask for help to set up. Many hands make light work. Those students and teachers who always arrive too early for the event are more than happy to help and enjoy being involved. Just ask!

Pack-up: Be considerate and take care of our goods when packing up. Please put all items in the correct bags. Fold, don’t stuff. Collect all the pegs and accessories and ensure all items are ready for use next time.

Registration: Gazebos, tablecloths, pull-up banners, colourful bunting. Please! No bare tables. On-stage: Matching banners on either side of lectern, podium, or wherever an ASPIRE presence can be enhanced.

Display Panels 32

The ASPIRE display boards tell the story of ASPIRE in a series of posters that sit on large folding display panels. There are three boards of 10 panels and one six-panel board. The easiest way to set them up is with two-three people per set of panels. The posters are attached by velcro. The whole display works really well in large events, VIP occasions and is a talking point exhibiting the work YOU do. We can update posters, but require minimum four weeks notice. Please take extra care when putting up and packing up the display.

Publications We have a range of publications and print material that have been custom made for specific purposes and complement workshops. Some items are displayed here. Please check with team leaders where these items have been used. We donâ€™t want students to be given the same item more than once.

ASPIRE Attire There is a range of fashionable ASPIRE attire for every occasion. For our students there is a limited range of hoodies and t-shirts. Please check before issuing students with hoodies, as they are expensive and used at specific events for particular year groups and not for general distribution.

ASPIRE Ambassadors should all have an ASPIRE Ambassador t-shirt and will receive an Ambassador hoodie (black) if they participate in an event in the winter months. If you require a new item, please speak to the Communications team to ensure that branding is correct for ASPIRE and UNSW.

Resources/Giveaways The following pages include both standard items used at core events, as well as items produced for specific purposes. All-purpose items include swimbags, pens, some drink bottles, yoyos etc. Not all items are available for general use. It is important not to devalue items by making them available for any purpose at any time. To ensure their â€˜wowâ€™ factor, they must remain exclusive and distributed at appropriate times.

Please check before use! Not all items are in stock, but can be re-ordered. Please start your discussions regarding quantities at least 6-8 weeks before you need them to ensure stock is available. If you have ideas of any new items you would like to have produced, please talk to the Communications team and check the budget availability with the Operations Manager or your team leader.

Golden Rules • If you take it, put it back. • If you put it up make sure it is packed away properly with all the accessories properly stored together • Handle all items with care. We don’t have cash to splash on replacing any items because of carelessness during use. • Accidents do happen, so please tell the Communications team if any items are damaged. • Please ensure tablecloths are cleaned before packing away. If they are dirty, please get them dry cleaned for the next user. • Show pride in the ASPIRE display. You are part of a great team. Let others see that!
