Toy Story is one of those rare franchises that has real cross-generational appeal, so every new release brings a fresh wave of excitement from both children and parents who grew up with the original films. With Toy Story 5, we see a great opportunity to blend that nostalgia with new storytelling, characters and play patterns. From a VTech point of view, it allows us to bring well-loved characters into our learningfocused products in a way that feels both relevant and engaging. It also provides us with a strong platform at retail, where recognisable licences continue to play a big role in purchase decisions, especially around key gifting moments.
For VTech, it always starts with finding the balance between play and learning as the best way to ensure that our products stand out in a saturated marketplace. Parents are increasingly looking for toys that offer developmental value as well as entertainment, so we make sure our products deliver on both. With a licence like Toy Story 5, it is not just about putting characters onto a product, it is about building them into the experience in a meaningful way, whether that is through storytelling, interactive features or ageappropriate educational content. We also focus heavily on quality, durability and clear communication of benefits at shelf, which is key in a busy retail environment. Ultimately, it is about creating products that feel purposeful and engaging, rather than just another licensed item on the shelf.
Suppliers tell us about the opportunities presented by the new movie and what sets their products apart in a saturated marketplace, while retailers comment on which categories they’re putting a major focus on regarding their Toy Story 5 offering and what demand they’ve seen from consumers in the run-up to the film’s release.
The return of Toy Story with its fifth instalment presents a significant opportunity across licensed merchandise, driven by its broad, multi-generational appeal. As one of Pixar’s most iconic franchises, Toy Story continues to resonate with both young audiences and adults who have grown up with the characters. With more than six years since the last release, there is a strong sense of anticipation.
Retailers know that Toy Story represents the best-in-class moviemaking that appeals across all age groups. This wide appeal allows Pyramid to develop product ranges that work across multiple categories, from gifting and stationery to everyday accessories, giving retailers the flexibility to build strong, character-led displays that entice new fans and nostalgic kidults.

In a competitive licensed marketplace, standing out requires a balance of strong IP and innovative product development. Pyramid International focuses on combining retail-proven formats with creative features that bring characters to life in new and engaging ways.
Innovation is always key, and for Toy Story 5, we are developing a range of fun and clever products that highlight the key characters while offering something different for retailers. By focusing on design, functionality and character-led detail, Pyramid ensures its ranges remain both commercially strong and visually impactful in store
The release of Toy Story 5 brings a huge wave of renewed excitement to one of the most loved and recognisable franchises in the world. With its multi-generational appeal, it offers retailers a unique opportunity to connect with both nostalgic parents and a new generation of fans discovering the characters for the first time.
From a licensing perspective, Toy Story is incredibly versatile. Its iconic characters and vibrant visual identity translate seamlessly across a wide range of categories, allowing retailers to build strong, cohesive displays that drive both engagement and cross-category sales. With the upcoming film acting as a key cultural moment, the timing creates a powerful platform for retail activation.

At MV Sports, we focus on combining standout design with genuine play value. Our Toy Story range goes beyond character branding by incorporating features that enhance the overall experience, such as light-up elements, adjustable components and multi-functional designs that grow with the child.
We also place a strong emphasis on visual impact. Bold graphics, vibrant colourways and consistent branding ensure the range stands out both on shelf and online, helping retailers capture attention in a busy marketplace.
Alongside this, our experience in licensed wheeled toys and strong retail support allows us to deliver products that are not only exciting for consumers but also commercially effective for our partners.

We are being asked about Toy Story 5 products by our followers on TikTok almost every time we go live on our channel, so we are looking forward to incorporating a variety of Toy Story 5 ranges across a number of categories. We’ll be stocking Role Play, Tech Toys and Plush from a multitude of licensees, including VTech and Mattel, through our distributor, Wind Designs. We are confident that Toy Story product will be in demand in the run-up to the movie, and even more popular after the movie is released in June. We’re particularly excited about VTech’s launch of five different Toy Story products, including the Toy Story 5 Explore & Learn Lilypad, based on the new Lilypad character which is joining the Toy Story gang. Wind Designs will provide us with the full selection of Mattel Toy Story products, including action figures featuring different characters and some plush items, which I think will be highly popular with our customers. There will be a nice mix of everyday pick-up lines and items at higher price points which will be ideal for gifting on special occasions such as birthdays and Christmas. I believe the whole range will be successful, as it is based on a timeless licence that will resonate with both kids and nostalgic adults alike.

Disney’s Toy Story 5 represents a significant licensing opportunity for us to build on one of the most recognisable and enduring entertainment brands globally. The new film brings fresh characters, new storytelling opportunities and updated looks for legacy favourites, all of which translate naturally into our Pop!, Mystery Mini and Loungefly formats. With the strength of the IP, it also means we can appeal to multiple demographics at the same time. We have created a licensed offering for collectors who demand a strong sense of nostalgia and also new younger audiences who are discovering the franchise for the first time. This cross-generational appeal enables us to create a broad licensing programme that drives volume and collectability.
Our approach is centred on creating highly recognisable, fan-driven products that deliver both shelf impact and collectability. With Disney’s Toy Story 5, this is reflected in our carefully curated Pop! line-up, which blends iconic characters such as Pop! Woody and Pop! Bullseye with new personalities from the film including Pop! Lilypad, alongside Flocked variants of the Pop! series to add texture and differentiation to the range. We also place a strong emphasis on expansions across wider formats, such as with the new Funko Toy Story 5 Mystery Minis and all-new Loungefly Toy Story 5 bags and accessories. There is truly something for all fans and ultimately, our combination of distinctive design, strategic range building and fan-first thinking is what ensures we remain competitive and relevant in a crowded marketplace.
For the Toy Story 5 movie programme, we are placing our primary focus on Plush, Action Figures and Pre-school lines. Our main partner for the range will be Mattel, which has developed a comprehensive and well balanced product offering that covers all key categories. In particular, we expect Imaginext and the LargeScale Action Figures to be our strongest performers within the Mattel line-up. Historically, the franchise has been driven by the three core characters: Jessie, Woody and Buzz, who consistently deliver the highest sell through, and this remains central to our strategy for 2026.
The premise of the new movie introduces a timely and relevant theme, reflecting the real world shift we’re seeing where children are increasingly moving toward electronic devices and, unfortunately, engaging with traditional toys less often. Toy Story 5’s narrative around ‘Toy meets Tech’ resonates strongly with this cultural shift we are seeing. I hope the new range of toys helps bring more children back to playing with toys – there is nothing better than a child’s imagination when playing with toys and making their own stories.
At this stage, we wouldn’t say that demand for the new Toy Story 5 movie has fully reached us yet. We’re seeing steady sales on the existing Toy Story lines and a noticeable increase in website search activity, but it still feels a little early for the full wave of movie-driven hype to hit. As with most major film releases, we expect momentum to build much closer to launch, when trailers, media coverage and in-store theatre support start ramping up.

On a personal note, I’m genuinely pleased to see another Toy Story film coming. It’s been long enough since the last instalment that this new chapter feels well timed, and importantly, it will introduce the franchise to a new generation of children, many of whom may never have seen the original movie. That creates a great opportunity not only for fresh engagement but also for renewed interest in the classic characters and storylines that we all have loved.

We are already seeing incredible success with Toy Story across our portfolio – led by the Toy Story Slinky Dog, which continues to be a standout, top-selling item. This isn’t just strong performance – it’s proof of the franchise’s lasting power and unstoppable consumer appeal.
As one of the most iconic animated brands of all time, Disney Pixar Toy Story commands a massive, multi-generational fanbase. Its unique blend of nostalgia, storytelling and instantly recognisable characters makes it a licensing powerhouse. Now, with Toy Story 5 on the horizon, we have a major moment to reignite excitement and drive fresh demand. New stories, new characters and bold new visuals will energise retail, while the brand’s legacy continues to deliver trust and familiarity.
Our Tara Toy arts and crafts range for Toy Story 5 is built to capitalise on this surge of excitement. These products allow children to interact creatively with the brand, extending engagement into hands-on creative play, an area that continues to perform strongly in the market. The line-up is packed with standout innovation: kids can build their own characters with the Make Your Own Forky and Karen sets, dive into eight creative projects with the all-in-one Creativity Set or get drawing anywhere with portable Lilypad activity kits.
This is more than a product range – we stand out in a saturated marketplace by leaning into what Arts & Crafts does best – bringing key characters and play patterns from Toy Story 5 to life. Fan-favourite creations like Forky and Karen naturally translate into engaging, hands-on activities, while new characters introduce fresh play patterns for children. It fuels creativity, deepens engagement and taps into the full energy of a franchise that continues to capture hearts around the world.
We also tap into the film’s ‘tech vs toy’ theme by championing creativity and tangible play experiences. While the story explores technology, our range offers a screen-free alternative; positioning Arts & Crafts as the perfect way for kids to interact with the brand in a more imaginative and meaningful way.
Toy Story 5 arrives at a great time for us because it shines a spotlight back on a franchise that has been consistently strong for nearly 30 years. Woody, Buzz and Jessie remain some of the best-known characters in family entertainment, and the new movie gives us a great moment to re-energise existing fans while welcoming new audiences who will be discovering them for the first time. That combination is incredibly valuable from a licensing point of view, as it gives us both familiarity and fresh interest at the same time.
What has always worked well with Toy Story is how clearly defined the characters and worlds are. The look and feel are instantly recognisable, which allows us to create ranges that feel authentic and commercially confident. With renewed attention on the franchise, we see strong opportunities to keep our lines relevant and engaging.
When we look at how busy the market is, our priority is to make sure our Toy Story range feels genuinely well considered and enjoyable for children to play with. Having rights across both spring/summer and autumn/winter gives us the scope to plan a consistent year-round programme, which is important for retailers who want continuity across seasons.
A lot of our effort goes into the physical design of the products. We focus on strong 3D elements, good hand-feel and clear play patterns, because those are the things that make a product stand out. We want children to instantly understand what they can do with it.
Our range covers outdoor play, arts and crafts and stationery, which allows us to bring the licence to life in different ways. Key formats include Paint Your Own Characters, our HTI exclusive Puzzle Palz, the Buzz Bubble Blower and the Toy Story Water Backpack, all designed to be eye-catching and appealing at shelf.

There’s a lot of excitement around the release of Toy Story 5 this summer, and it will be fascinating to see how the story develops, particularly given the rare combination of well-loved, proven characters and a fresh, highly relevant ‘tech vs play’ theme.
From a licensing perspective, this positions Toy Story 5 as a strong opportunity for us, blending nostalgia with newness while opening some compelling commercial avenues. It enables us to drive consistent, high-volume sales through established characters, while also introducing more distinctive, innovative product concepts inspired by the tech-versus-toys narrative.
In a crowded, promotion-heavy category like stationery, IG Design Group stands out by shifting the conversation away from ‘commodity product’ to thoughtfully designed, differentiated product solutions. We combine design-led product, insightdriven range architecture and retailer-specific execution, transforming stationery into a more engaging and distinctive proposition.
While much of the market competes on price and basic functionality, IG Design Group leads with trend-led design, premium finishes and strong design and colour direction. Alongside this, sustainability remains a key focus. We continually review and evolve our ranges to help shape retailer direction, while responding to the growing expectations of today’s consumers.

The Toy Story universe uniquely demonstrates the power of play, sparking imagination, emotional connection and storytelling that resonates across generations. As a long-standing partner to Disney, Mattel brings that storytelling from screen to playtime through toys that inspire hands-on, imaginative play. With Toy Story 5, new characters and storylines expand the universe while staying true to its emotional core, allowing us to develop a range that supports rich storytelling and a variety of engaging play patterns.
Through thoughtfully designed action figures, role play, plush and pre-school toys inspired by both iconic and new characters, we’re able to translate the magic of the film into meaningful play experiences. These products invite storytelling, support development and create shared moments between families, reinforcing the important role toys play in helping children learn, grow and connect.
In a competitive marketplace, standing out requires a clear focus on both authenticity and innovation. For Toy Story 5, Mattel has taken a strategic approach to ensure the range resonates strongly with consumers while delivering something new at retail.
We’ve built the range around what fans value most, recognisable characters, storytelling-driven play and emotional connection, while introducing new formats and features that elevate the play experience. This includes expanding into larger-scale figures and incorporating enhanced play features that bring the characters and their world to life in more immersive ways.

We have also worked closely with Disney to ensure a cohesive brand presence across categories, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency while allowing room for creative differentiation. At the same time, we’ve incorporated learnings from previous ranges and aligned with current play trends to ensure the products feel both relevant and fresh. By combining strong brand stewardship with meaningful innovation, we’re confident the Toy Story 5 range will stand out and capture attention both on shelf and with consumers.

We are backing Toy Story 5 across the vast majority of categories/ suppliers and see this as one of our key focuses for 2026. We are also launching a bespoke marketing campaign, which we are excited to deliver to our customers.
We have seen early demand across lines such as Fisher-Price and some collectibles. Since the movie trailer dropped, there has definitely been more interest in Toy Story as a whole, albeit it is a wellestablished, evergreen property.
The Toy Story franchise has a long and successful heritage in the toy industry, going back to the launch of the first film in the 90s. Toy Story 5 looks like a superb addition to the franchise, with a storyline that appears to champion traditional toys over tech. It has huge appeal across multiple generations, and we expect our plush to be right up there in terms of our biggestselling items this year. We have a great assortment, featuring the beloved main characters as well as a brand-new character. We are working on multiple marketing strategies to ensure our plush stands out, from products produced in CDUs for on-shelf appeal, to dedicated space and shipper units in store. On top of this, we will also be working closely with Disney and with our influencer network to ensure fans are aware and excited by the new lines as they become available.

The Toy Story franchise has delivered decades of multigenerational appeal. Buzz, Woody and friends hold a special place in hearts across the world, and the emotional connection to these characters continues to grow with each new release.
As a licensee, the wealth of new material delivered by each new chapter for Toy Story is pure joy, with new themes, characters and visuals to inspire product development. The timeless appeal of these much-loved characters, along with the classic play of a puzzle, offers a winning combination that is backed by an undeniably strong track record.
Our product development team works in close collaboration with the brand owner’s licensing team to create a product line that reflects the spirit of the franchise, as well as delivering the best puzzle experience. Our Toy Story 5 line-up has been created based on tried-and-tested puzzle formats – we know these items deliver what our retailers are looking for and what our end consumers enjoy. We offer a range of piece counts to address a variety of ages, and our multi-puzzle formats represent value that’s hard to beat – and they’re great for gifting too. We know that our consumers love the quality of a Ravensburger puzzle, and stand-out comes from that trust in our brand. In a world where every penny counts, the confidence of knowing a product will last carries a lot of weight.

Toy Story has been a stronghold in terms of licensed product for over 30 years. The clever blend of recurring fan favourites combined with novel and impactful featured characters like Lotso (who is still huge in Asia) have provided so many opportunities for Paladone not only to elevate existing long-term SKUs, but also to develop new formats, ranges and concepts every time a new instalment drops.
Toy Story 5 is no exception; The new Buzz Lightyear GloBuddy was universally popular across the major trade shows at the beginning of the year, and the fun Alien book light is the perfect product for impulse buys. Paladone’s latest catalogue has two pages full of lighting, homeware and lifestyle products. With so many existing and new characters across the enduring world of Woody and friends, the possibilities are, well, infinity and beyond.
Paladone’s proposition is certainly rooted in well-designed and great quality licensed merchandise, but the strength of that proposition is supported by the breadth of marketing activities and point-of-sale offerings. We understand that consumer marketing brings footfall and purchases, so our activity doesn’t stop at the retailer – we complete the circle through robust B2C community building too. Not only will retailers and distributors see plenty of collateral spread across email marketing and trade press, but the always-active Paladone social media channels will feature some engaging Toy Story content as we approach the launch.
Key retail partners will be offered gold-standard levels of marketing support through paid media and video advertising. On top of that, Paladone boasts global capability to deploy various POS initiatives – from standard FSDUs and CDUs to eye-catching creative installations that look great in-store and will delight fans of this evergreen franchise around the world.
We’re putting a major focus on several categories regarding our Toy Story 5 offering. We’ve worked closely with our Electrical, Health & Beauty and Stationery teams to collaborate on some mixed feature bays that will bring Toy Story to life for the new movie’s launch (with Disney’s help, of course). With regards to the toys category, we like to play it safe, so we’ve mainly focused on Mattel’s 7-inch and 12-inch figures, Funko’s Funko Pop! Moment Buzz, Jazwares’ Woody, 8-inch Squishmallow and Simba’s plush. We can then look to expand the range into other secondary toy products for the home entertainment release once we have a sales read.
We’ve brought in some non-movie-related products early and have already seen some great sales and demand from consumers. We’ve always done really well with Toy Story, so we’re confident that when the movie hype builds, sales will be even stronger, and we can back it further into autumn/winter 2026.

These products are designed to work both as individual purchases and as part of a wider, cohesive range, making them suitable for a variety of retail environments.
A key strength of the collection lies in its balance of retail-proven formats and creative design. Pyramid’s in-house design team has focused on bringing the personality of Toy Story to life across each product, ensuring strong shelf presence while maintaining functionality for everyday use. This approach enables retailers to combine fun, character-led appeal for younger consumers with the practical expectations of parents and kidults.

With Toy Story 5 arriving this June, the franchise once again shows why it continues to resonate with all generations. For retailers, this is more than just a movie moment. It is an evergreen opportunity to tap into the heart of the Toy Story message: a toy becomes meaningful through a child’s imagination. HTI’s Toy Story Arts & Crafts range brings that idea into the real world, turning storytelling into hands-on creative play. The range encourages children to make, decorate and play on their own terms.
This is what can be described as the ‘Forky Effect’. Created from a spork, pipe cleaners and ‘trash’ because Bonnie needed a friend, Forky embodies the value of creativity itself. His story reflects how making things can help children process change, express feelings and create reassurance.
HTI’s Make Your Own Forky and Karen sets echo this key moment from the movie, giving children the tools to build and personalise their own companions. The sets reinforce the simple but powerful idea that intention and imagination are what turn an object into a toy. This kind of involvement supports longer-lasting engagement that extends well beyond the movie release.
The range also features Paint Your Own sets with much-loved characters including Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Jessie. This format allows little creators to add their own touch to familiar figures, blending a focused activity with imaginative play and display. Once finished, the characters move easily from the craft table into storytelling.
From a retail perspective, HTI’s Toy Story arts & crafts range sits comfortably within everyday toy buying and pocket-money spend. While Toy Story 5 brings a massive promotional spike, arts & crafts maintain consistent appeal throughout the year, driven by gifting, at-home activities and impulse purchases. Bright, character-led packaging ensures easy recognition and helps the range work across multiple in-store locations.
By encouraging children to create, personalise and play with purpose, HTI offers a flexible licensed range that supports imaginative play within a well-established franchise.

The adventure continues beyond figures with the Disney and Pixar Toy Story 5 Space Ranger Laser Gauntlet, putting kids right into Buzz Lightyear’s world. With lights, sounds and a projected target, it transforms imaginative play into full Space Ranger missions.
For younger fans, softer storytelling moments come into play. The Disney and Pixar Toy Story 5 Blaze's Pet Pig offers cuddly companions with simple, squeeze-activated sounds, while the Disney and Pixar Toy Story 5 Lil' Partner Bullseye adds personality and charm, responding with expressive movements that encourage nurturing and imaginative interaction. Pre-schoolers can join the journey with the Fisher-Price Little People Disney and Pixar Toy Story Figure Pack, where six iconic characters are perfectly sized for little hands, helping to spark early storytelling and role play.
Rounding out the range, the Imaginext Toy Story Launcher Assortment brings high-energy action into the mix, with connectable launcher systems that send characters speeding into adventure, encouraging collectability and repeat play.

Blending nostalgic storytelling with functional design, these pieces provide fans with an additional way to engage with the franchise beyond traditional collectibles, further expanding appeal across lifestyle categories.
With a focused, product-led approach, the Toy Story 5 range is designed to deliver both strong shelf impact and sustained collectability. Supported by Funko’s ongoing marketing activity across digital and social channels, the collection is well-positioned to capture fan excitement around the film’s release and drive footfall at retail.

IG Design Group aims to bring licensed brands to life in a way that feels both creative and commercially relevant, and its Toy Story range is a great example of that approach in action.
With such an iconic franchise, the company’s focus was on creating a range that feels cohesive on shelf, while still offering enough variety to drive interest across different price points and purchase occasions. The collection offers a balance of hero products, strong gifting formats and smaller impulse-led items, all designed to work together as a complete in-store story.
Creative play sits right at the heart of the range. IG Design’s play packs are a key feature, bringing together multiple activities into one format that feels accessible and great value for the customer. These are supported by carry-along colouring sets and shaped artist pads, which add a more portable, on-the-go element while still delivering that same sense of engagement and creativity.
Sticker formats are another important part of the offer. The sticker box and large-format sticker packs are designed to feel generous and interactive, giving kids something they can return to again and again. They also work well on shelf, offering strong visual impact and clear value, which is key in driving those impulse purchases.
Alongside the creative formats, IG Design has built a solid foundation of everyday stationery. The spiral notebooks, for example, are a versatile product that works all year round, while still carrying that strong Toy Story identity. The company has also introduced novelty pens, which bring a bit of fun to more traditional formats and broaden the range’s appeal.
One of the areas which IG Designs has continued to lean into is novelty. Products like the character toppers and tactile, interactive elements are a simple but effective way of adding something a bit different. They’re the kind of items that naturally catch attention in stores and give the customer an extra reason to pick something up.
From a design perspective, it was essential that the range felt bold and recognisable – it features bright colours, strong graphics and, of course, much-loved characters like Buzz, Woody and the Aliens to create something that really stands out. At the same time, there is a consistent design language running across the range, which helps retailers create a more impactful, joined-up display.
For IG Designs, it’s never just about placing a character on a product – it’s about understanding how that licence should come to life across different formats, and making sure each item feels considered, both creatively and commercially. That’s what allows the range to connect with consumers and perform well at retail.
Overall, the Toy Story collection is a strong reflection of how IG Design is continuing to evolve its licensed offering, bringing together creativity, product development and retail insight to deliver ranges that feel relevant, engaging and easy to shop.

Just Play’s new Disney and Pixar Toy Story-inspired additions offer something for fans of all ages, with both crafts and collectible doll lines.
Just Play’s licensed arts, crafts and activities range from Tara Toy offers families endless creative fun, and the collection will expand next month to include Disney and Pixar Toy Story 5 items. Already, the animation franchise is one of the biggest in history – both in terms of box office performance and consumer products – and these creative additions will help mark this new chapter for the property. Families can expect new lines and character crafts inspired by the new movie. Creative fun is assured with the Make Your Own Forky and Karen sets. Each comes with a plastic utensil, googly eyes, pipe cleaners and more for crafters to easily create their own character, with no need for glue or mess. For bumper crafting fun, there’s the Creativity Set, which makes eight projects.
The crafting fun continues with Disney and Pixar Lilypad. The Lilypad Doodler is a portable creativity companion that’s perfect for magnetic drawing on the go. Kids can also get creative in another way with Dry, Glow & Erase Lilypad, which comes with a dry-erase Lilypad-inspired board, neon markers, stencil sheets and a wipe-off cloth. Kids can simply doodle, stencil and erase with both Lilypad-inspired items.
Also joining the line-up is the Pixel Art Set, which allows kids to design colourful, characterful masterpieces one bead at a time. Children can design and fuse favourite Toy Story 5 characters, completing them with the addition of a clip so the finished creations can be connected to bags, pencil cases and more. Plus, there’s the Design A Vinyl set, which comes with a large Disney and Pixar Buzz Lightyear figure to colour and display with the included marker pens.
There’s also the all-new Disney Doorables Adoorbs Toy Story Dolls. Behind every convention door awaits a stylish surprise with this new licensed assortment. There are four articulated dolls to discover in the range; each comes dressed in an outfit based on either Disney and Pixar Woody, Rex, Forky or Slinky Dog. Fans can also open five numbered compartments to discover adorable accessories, as well as exclusive Toy Story-inspired Disney Doorables figures that attach to a keychain. The packaging can even be used as a play space for meet and greets and creative displays.

The new additions complement one of Just Play’s existing best-selling items: Disney and Pixar Toy Story Slinky Dog Pull Toy. Inspired by the lovable character from the Toy Story films, this classic walking spring toy features Slinky Dog’s iconic coiled body, floppy ears and green collar for an authentic look kids will recognise and love. Kids can pull Slinky Dog by his attached leash and watch him stretch, wiggle and slink along behind them.

Hasbro is expanding its Toy Story portfolio with a mix of compound, preschool and games lines, combining established play patterns with characterdriven innovation. Within Play-Doh, the Toy Story Space Creations set is designed to support imaginative and sensory play, featuring Woody and Buzz Lightyear figures, a rocket ship play piece, five compound colours and themed accessories. Built-in moulds allow for the creation of additional characters, including aliens and Evil Emperor Zurg, while features such as a simulated launch effect and customisable gear for the figures enhance storytelling opportunities. A display stand is also included, adding a collectible dimension.
In the pre-school aisle, the Potato Head range receives a Toy Story 5 update led by Talkin’ Mr. Potato Head, which introduces an interactive element to the classic format. The set includes a 5.5-inch potato body and 12 mix-and-match components, with three interchangeable mouthpieces that activate more than 25 sounds and phrases, alongside alternative configurations that trigger varied audio responses. Character extensions include Woody Tater and Buzz Spudyear, each translating their on-screen counterparts into the Potato Head format with themed accessories and core facial features. All sets are designed for small hands, support repeat reconfiguration and include integrated storage compartments, with compatibility across most existing Potato Head items.
Rounding out the range, the Bop It! Disney Pixar Buzz Lightyear Edition introduces a licensed update to the fast-paced reflex game, with players responding to voice-led commands to bop, twist and pull the unit in randomised sequences. Gameplay speeds increase with successful responses, and the inclusion of Solo and Pass It modes supports both individual and group play, while the handheld format positions the product within the travel and impulse purchase category.
