“As the biggest gathering of furniture and interiors suppliers in the UK, JFS presents a unique opportunity to celebrate the industry’s best and brightest, and The Furniture Awards offers those inspirational players a chance to share their stories.”
Established in 2015 by Furniture News in partnership with JFS, The Furniture Awards are an integral part of the show. Exhibiting suppliers are invited to explain what makes them a champion in one of five categories: Sustainability; Best of British; Design Innovation; Global Player; and Superior Service.
The entries are shortlisted and assessed by a panel of industry professionals chaired by Furniture News’ Paul Farley. This year’s judges are: Malcolm Walker (Owner, FIRST MW); Sarah Bianchi (MD, Arighi Bianchi); Alice Rowan Hall (Founder, Rowen Homes); Peter Harding (MD, Fairway Furniture); and furniture designer Adam Daghorn.
The winners of The Furniture Awards 2024 will be revealed at the JFS show party, taking place in Hall 1 from 5.30pm on Sunday 21st January. See you there!

Environmental and ethical concerns are more important than ever – do your materials or manufacturing processes make you a natural winner? This category is for any business that champions sustainable practices and demonstrates the will to make the world a better place.
As British-made goods gather momentum, are you delivering the best in homegrown design and build? This category is for businesses that principally manufacture in the UK, and demonstrate high standards of output, with regard for their place in the local economy and industry.
You may push the boundaries of creativity, or simply deliver impeccable style – but are you leading the way when it comes to good product design? This category is for any business that puts original design at the heart of its strategy – entries should include visual evidence of these directions, plus detail of their route to market.
With fluctuating prices and problematic supply chains still common, imports remain a difficult juggling act. This category is for any business that majors in imports, and their entry will need to reflect their strengths in product development, pricing and fulfilment, plus details of how their offer is tailored to the UK marketplace.
As the pace of change accelerates, businesses must embrace new, more efficient ways of working. This category gives the industry’s service providers – from software and CGI specialists to sales and logistics providers – an opportunity to highlight why their offer could be a gamechanger in today’s market.

Hall 2 will see the return of the Home & Lifestyle Show. Here you will be able to explore the latest in home accessories, interiors and lifestyle products.
