 Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD): Health Care Workers in Queensland Health whose occupation poses a potential risk of exposure to blood or body fluids are required to provide evidence of vaccinations or proof that they are not susceptible (due to prior exposure to the disease and therefore have natural immunity) to the following VPD's: Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis (diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis containing vaccine) and according to the Queensland Health Policy.

Clinical Nurse

Continence Advisory Service – OPCS, Kirwan Health Campus

Classification Level: NG6

Status: Part time – 64 hours per fortnight

This is an expression of interest to obtain a candidate pool to draw from (within the next 12 months) for future backfill requirements up to six [6] months (in total).

This position will:

The role of the Continence Advisor is to promote and maintain the health and wellbeing of clients within the Continence Advisory Service by utilising holistic and comprehensive assessment practices to formulate and implement care plans in consultation with the client and other treating clinicians.

The CN role requires a high level of knowledge and restorative nursing practice for the management of continence dysfunction.

Requirements:

 Bachelor or Nursing or equivalent certification is mandatory plus AHPRA registration.

 Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care at an advanced level within a complex environment.

 Demonstrated experience in continence management highly regarded.

 Knowledge of Commonwealth Home Support Program and My Aged Care highly regarded.
