2016 Economic Development Projects Tredyffrin Township continues to lead the Philadelphia

Life Time Athletic

region's 10 largest business locations across all industry types*. This 2016 Economic Development update showcases projects in the Township and demonstrates a continued commitment by businesses and residential builders that Tredyffrin Township is a good investment for their dollars.

Life Time Athletic will open in 2017 at the former CertainTeed site and offer many services including a full-service spa, a cafe that provides a healthy diet, nationally renowned group fitness instructors and personal trainers, an indoor cycling studio, squash courts, cuttingedge fitness equipment, and a 65,000 sq. ft. outdoor pool.

As a result of our favorable business climate, and combined with a top-tier school district, building activity on the commercial and residential side continues to be strong. Listed are a few examples of building activity.

Children's Learning Adventure

Thank you for taking the time to read this. It is my pleasure serving the residents of Tredyffrin Township!

Children's Learning Adventure will also be built on the same site as Life Time Athletic. CLA will feature specialized classrooms and will provide learning and care for infants from six weeks of age to preschool, private kindergarten, and will provide before and after school programs for children up to twelve years of age.

Parkview at Chesterbrook Director of Planning and Zoning/Assistant Township Manager Tredyffrin Township

Adjacent to the newly reconfigured and smaller Chesterbrook Shopping Center and Wilson Farm Park, Parkview at Chesterbrook will provide 123 townhomes. The first units are already occupied. The project should be completed by mid-2017.

Village Square Village Square, just south of downtown Paoli, will include 30 new townhomes. It is located within walking distance of downtown Paoli. This project is expected to be completed in early 2017.

Vanguard Vanguard, one the world's largest investment companies, continues to invest in their buildings and perform infrastructure improvements to their Tredyffrin campus.

Brightview Brightview should begin construction in later 2016 or early 2017, and will be located on East Conestoga Road behind Whole Foods. Message from the Finance Director by Joseph DiRocco, CPA As you can see, the Township is serious about funding our liabilities while taking into account the fiscal health and flexibility we have. Currently, the Township is planning on being free of bond debt by 2022, which will allow us to then be able to consider funding both the Police Pension Plan and OPEB Trust more aggressively. Until then, each budget cycle the Township will consider its current funding levels and look to increase funding in any way possible.

Our challenges outlined above are no different than those of our neighbors, both near and far. They are not the only challenges that we face but are the largest and will continue to be discussion drivers each budget cycle. This is not something that will go away overnight but with proper planning and execution, we will be well positioned, not only in 2016 and 2017, but well into the future. We look forward to facing these challenges head on!

As we prepare for the 2017 budget cycle, I feel that there are few topics the residents should be aware of that are going to be driving discussions. These are items that will greatly affect how the Township prepares its budget for 2017 and beyond. With the new Governmental Accounting Standard Board (GASB) Pronouncements Numbers 67 & 68 taking effect, the Township has increased disclosure requirements surrounding the Police and Non-Uniformed Pension Plans. The main focus of these new disclosures is the unfunded liabilities of those plans; which is the first challenge the Township is facing. As shown in the 2015 Township audit, the unfunded liability of the Police Pension Plan (as of December 31, 2015) is $7,650,445. Although this is a relatively large liability for the Township, it is a 20+ year liability and fluctuates yearly based on a number of actuarially determined factors. That being said, it is still a major issue for the Township budget. Over the last couple of years the Township has seen its Minimum Municipal Obligation (MMO) for the Police Pension Plan increase to $924,504, some of which is covered by the State. The true challenge that the Township faces is coming up with a funding plan to reduce our unfunded liability without sacrificing the fiscal health and flexibility of the Township. Funding the liability is one of the Township's main priorities and is something that is discussed every budget cycle. The other challenge the Township faces moving forward is funding the Other Post Employment Benefit (OPEB) liability. This, like the pension liabilities, is also an actuarially determined number which fluctuates based on factors like the type of health plan, funding levels, etc. It is also a 20+ year liability. As of December 31, 2015, the unfunded OPEB liability was $23,377,588. This takes into account the recently established OPEB Trust that as of December 31, 2015, had over $3 million. Tredyffrin Township Police Department Thanks Such intense gratitude to our community of Tredyffrin goes beyond what words can sufficiently describe; but I will do my best to convey our extremely positive and thankful feelings towards our wonderful community, especially in these challenging times. This summer, our nation saw the deadliest day in Law Enforcement since 9/11. Forgetting the uniforms, the badges, and the tools of the profession - these "losses" were not merely statistics of officers killed in the line of duty. Instead, we lost fathers, sons, husbands, brothers, cousins, friends, coworkers, and, most importantly, a part of our law enforcement family.

In tragedies such as this, officers feel a deep pain for the loss of life. This pain is not easy to shed and the process of accepting loss can be lengthy. As Peace Officers, we look to a future that is free from violence while professionally upholding our oath to serve and protect everyone. Our officers have a true caring and an eagerness to make a positive difference in the lives of others. When we began receiving the numerous support letters, well wishes, signs, and gifts of support such as homemade baked goods and beyond, two strong quotes came to my mind:

Halloween is a scary time of year, but we all can help to make sure that children have a safe holiday with the following tips. Keep in mind that we all have a responsibility to ensure the safety of our children please drive carefully, be alert, and be courteous! Masks are not recommended because they can obstruct a child's vision. Instead, use face paints or makeup. Use hypoallergenic, non-toxic kits. Costumes should be flameretardant and fit properly. Avoid oversized shoes, heels, and long skirts. These could cause a child to fall. Children who trick-or-treat after dark should have reflective tape on the costumes and carry a flashlight or glow stick.

Tredyffrin Public Library Participates in Historic House Tour

The Tredyffrin Public Library will be one of the "houses" on the 12th Annual Historic House Tour on September 24, 2016. In addition to normal library business on that day, there will also be an exhibit and tour guides who will tell the story of the 40-yearold, award winning building at the top of the hill in Strafford Park. On the tour, visitors will learn more about the architect and the marvelous architectural features of the popular library. This year's Historic House Tour will begin at the library! Everyone who has purchased a ticket for the Tour can pick up their tickets at the Tredyffrin Public Library front entrance beginning at 11 AM.

Fall Children's Programs After an amazing Summer Reading Program, we are excited to offer a fall full of story times and fun programs as we support BASIC Literacy, the Pennsylvania PA Forward Initiative. Join us for Wee Ones story time for babies birth to 18 months on Mondays during our 8-week session at 9:45 AM. This story time is full of songs, short stories, and interactive playtime. Wee Ones is an opportunity for babies to socialize as well as a time for parents to play with their babies and make new adult friends. Our most popular story time, Family Story Time, for children ages 5 and under with caregivers will continue on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:30 AM, and runs all Photo by Jeff Chapman year long. Please arrive early for all story times to get your FREE story time tickets at the circulation desk. We offer tickets starting 30 minutes before the story time begins. Be on the watch for STEAM programming for children in elementary school. Enjoy activities related to science, technology, engineering, art, and math in this once per month series.

We are working on creating a Maker Space for children with the hope of providing a space and materials for children to create and discover. We hope to provide innovative activities such as Google cardboard, Snap Circuits, Paper Circuits, Scratch Workshops, MaKey MaKey, and more. Our curricula are free to Tredyffrin residents and their crews. Crewmembers do not need to be Tredyffrin residents. The Basics of Production curriculum is mandatory for every Tredyffrin Township Television (TTTV) producer and crewmember and is a required prerequisite for other curricula.

Space may be limited to first registrants. Classes may be cancelled if attendance is low.

Every taping, according to the physical demands of the production, requires a certain number of certified crewmembers to safely produce a show. At least 3 Basics of Production-certified crewmembers, one of which must be the (Tredyffrin resident) Lead Certified Producer, are recommended to produce a favorable three-camera studio taping.

Classes are held at the Greenwood Studio in the Tredyffrin Township Municipal Building at 1100 DuPortail Rd. in Berwyn. Students may attend either the Wednesday evening or the Saturday class, and that selection may change week to week.

Mill Road Leaf Site - Fall 2016 Tredyffrin Township provides a leaf drop off site for its residents and permitted commercial contractors. Drop-off should only take place during the posted hours of operation and should follow the regulations below.

Monday through Thursday: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM (Thethsite will be closed Thursday, November 24 ) There will be no access to the Mill Road Leaf Site on weekends.

Payment accepted by check only at the following rates (cost per load)

The Mill Road Leaf Site will be open beginning Tuesday, October 11, 2016 through Saturday, December, 3, 2016.

Monday through Thursday: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM (The site will be closed Thursday, November 24th) Friday: Closed Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (The site will be closed Saturday, November 26th)

Leaf Hauling Regulations for Residents

All residents of the Township are permitted to haul materials to the Mill Road Leaf Site for disposal. Proof of address (driver's license, etc.) is required. Branches/brush/stick requirements maximum diameter six (6) inches, maximum length twelve (12) feet, minimum length four (4) feet.

$20 for a 4 wheel vehicle $34 for a total combination of 6 wheels (trailer) dump or stakebody $40 for a total combination of 8 wheels (trailer) $60 for any stakebody over 14 feet in length

Leaf Hauling Regulations for Contractors

A special permit is required for each property serviced. The permit MUST be signed by the property owner and will only be valid for that specific property. The permit will indicate the number of loads of leaves to be removed from the property. The permit MUST be brought with EACH load to be dumped or you will not be permitted to dump. The Township employee checking the permit will sign and date each load dumped. After the last load allowed by the permit is

Permits can be obtained at the Public Works Building at the Township Complex, Monday through Thursday 7:00AM to 12:00PM. There will be no refunds or credits.

Contractors to haul leaves only to the Mill Road site - No branches, sticks or

wood chips. Any violation (illegal dumping, bad checks, etc.) of these regulations may result in a revocation of dumping privileges.

Inspection And Permit Services Now that the mowing season is starting to wind down, it may be the best time to consider preparing for what is viewed as the inevitable in this part of the world we call Tredyffrinâ€ŚI'm referring, of course, to downed trees. When I think of the Township, I can't help but think of how rich the majority of properties within its borders are with trees. And how, with just about every snow fall, some part of the Township ends up without power as a result of downed trees. It's a simple equation. Old (mostly overgrown) mature trees + wet snow X gravity = downed trees. Factor in some antiquated electric utilities and the loss of power becomes the inevitable.

So, if you're thinking about that home improvement project and have some questions on the permitting process, if you are submitting a new permit application, need the status of an existing application, or need to schedule an inspection - just give Laura a call. The primary intent of any code is to provide uniform safeguards for the health, safety and welfare of Township residents. Zoning codes regulate the location and use of a structure; construction codes govern minimum construction standards; fire codes attempt to prevent fire events; and nuisance codes prevent behavior that is detrimental to other properties or the surrounding area. Tredyffrin Township codes are intended to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public.

You can do yourself a favor, sooner rather than later, and get on someone's schedule early to determine what trees are most likely not going to be able to handle any additional weight and those that have learned to love and hug the wires. Laura joins the Township Administration staff with a business background and brings many talents and ideas that I am convinced will help increase our department's efficiency and commitment to customer service. Laura was hired to fill the spot left empty by the retirement of Laurie Meyle, a long-time resident of the area, who came to Tredyffrin Township in 2001, having joined the staff as a clerk/typist for the Finance Department before accepting a position as the Permit Clerk for the Codes Department in 2006. Laurie retired at the end of May and plans to spend more time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Paoli On The Move By Zach Barner, Planning & Zoning Coordinator Paoli Train Station Improvements

A Public Open House was held on Wednesday, June 8th, at the Paoli Train Station. At this event, which was held on the inbound (southern) side of the tracks, the Project Team was on-hand to discuss the project, distribute informational materials, and answer questions.

Project Overview

Planning and design are underway for a new Paoli Intermodal Transportation Center to be constructed at the site of the existing station at 13 N. Valley Road (corner of Lancaster Avenue and North Valley Road). Due to the scale of the project, it has been broken into 3 distinct phases (3 major projects). The project involves coordination between various entities including: SEPTA, Amtrak, PennDOT, the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC), Chester County, and Tredyffrin Township, as well as numerous public and private stakeholders. A Project Team, comprised of representatives from the various stakeholders, meets regularly to provide status updates and advance project coordination.

Frequently Asked Questions for Phase I:

Where will I park when construction starts? There will be no changes to parking until late 2016. At that time, the large SEPTA northwest permit parking lot on North Valley Road will be expanded to include the 44 commuter spaces currently in the northeast parking lot on North Valley Road. The northeast lot will be closed for construction purposes. There will be no changes to the south parking lot (along Lancaster Avenue) during construction. When construction is completed, the northeast lot on North Valley Road will re-open as a designated Kiss and Ride Parking lot with short-term parking and passenger drop off/pick up areas.

Phase I: Station Accessibility Improvements

This phase of the project has been initiated in order to bring the station into compliance with 2006 Department of Transportation (DOT) Accessibility standards and the provisions of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). The project will include a new high-level center platform, elevators, and ramps; a pedestrian overpass; parking lot improvements; ADA improvements to the existing station building; and improvements to the existing rail infrastructure. Once complete, this project will bring the Station into full ADA compliance, making it accessible for all users and setting the stage for future phases. Construction is anticipated to begin in the Summer of 2016.

Will there be a loss of parking at the station during and after construction? There will be no loss in parking spaces during or after construction but some parking spaces will be shifted/relocated. The current commuter spaces in the northeast lot on North Valley Road will be relocated to the northwest Permit parking lot as noted above. How will drop-off/pick-ups work (change) during construction? Drop-off/pick-up will not change in the south parking lot along Lancaster Avenue. Drop-off and pick-up in the former northeast lot on

North Valley Road will occur in the northwest Permit parking lot on North Valley Road where a designated drop-off /pick-up area will be identified. Will vehicular access points to and from North Valley Road and Route 30 change during construction and after construction? Access points to and from the station will not change during construction, with the exception of the northeast parking lot on North Valley Road, which will be closed to vehicular traffic. A pedestrian walkway will be retained for use of the stairs to and from the outbound platform to the North Valley Road sidewalks. After construction, the northeast lot will be a designated Kiss and Ride Parking lot, with short-term parking and passenger drop off/pick up areas. Will SEPTA and Amtrak modify their schedules during construction? Any changes to bus schedules? No schedule changes are anticipated at this time. In the event that there are temporary, short-term schedule adjustments, flyers will be distributed at the station and notices published on Amtrak's and SEPTA's websites. How long will construction last? Construction will last approximately 30 months, starting in summer of 2016 and ending in late 2018.

Paoli On The Move How much will the project cost? Who is paying for this? The Accessibility Project budget is currently estimated at $36m. Amtrak will provide $12m in funding and SEPTA (in partnership with PennDOT) will provide $24m. When will the Darby Road Bridge be reconstructed/relocated? This Project is currently in design and being managed by PennDOT, who should be contacted for questions regarding the construction schedule.

When will construction take place day or night? Will noise level impact local neighborhood? Construction will take place primarily at night in the vicinity of the station. Noise levels are not anticipated to impact local neighborhoods since the area immediately surrounding the station is primarily commercial. How will this project impact me as (1) a train rider, (2) a local resident, or (3) a local

business? This project is intended to provide accessibility to all passengers that use the station and will improve mobility to, from and through the station. The modernization of the station to meet accessibility standards is expected to benefit all SEPTA and Amtrak train riders (current and future). Many communities see increased use by residents when rail stations are updated and modernized. Local businesses have experienced access to new customers drawn to the modernized facilities.

Is there a schedule and funding identified for construction of the proposed garage/bus area? Not at this time. However, the designs of the Accessibility Project and Darby Road Bridge relocation are compatible with (and allow for) the incorporation of the garage/bus area when funding is identified. This element of the Transportation Center may also be a project worth pursuing as a potential P3 (Public-Private Partnership) in order to identify funding. Paoli On The Move Phase II: Darby Road Bridge and Realignment This second phase, which will follow on the heels of the Accessibility Improvements, will look to replace the existing bridge on North Valley Road over the Amtrak/SEPTA lines with a new bridge that redirects the road to the intersection of Lancaster Avenue and Darby Road. This will allow the parking areas and jitney operations on the north side of the tracks to be combined. Now that the design of the Phase I improvements is approved (by various agencies), design work will begin on the bridge project, as it must accommodate the design new station amenities. Funding for the bridge has been identified on the regional Transportation Improvements Program (TIP) with construction anticipated to begin in 2019. For funding information, visit www.dvrpc.org.

Phase III: Intermodal Station and Parking Garage This final phase features a new, expanded transportation center "envisioned to serve the growing needs of the traveling public, and support the Paoli business district and future economic growth in the area." The intermodal station complex will include an additional highlevel platform on the outbound side; a new waiting area, ticket offices, and passenger amenities; enhanced bus facilities; and a 600+ space commuter parking garage. Plans also anticipate retail storefronts on the proposed parking structure. Below is a (draft) rendering of the Intermodal Station and Parking Garage. The actual design is yet to be determined.

Historic Preservation And The 12th Annual Historic House Tour by Pattye Benson

If you love history and architecture, you will not want to miss the much-anticipated 12th Annual Historic House Tour (the Tour) on Saturday, September 24th, Noon - 5 PM. The Tour provides a rare opportunity for visitors to go inside the private homes and gardens of some of our area's most beautiful historic properties. This is a signature event for the Tredyffrin Historic Preservation Trust (the Trust), a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting and educating the community about our local historic and cultural resources. The selfguided tour celebrates the architecture and design in local historic homes and allows visitors the opportunity to discover the rich, historic heritage of the area as they explore the historic residences. "We are excited about our twelfth historic house tour", commented Pattye Benson, Trust president and chair of the house tour since its inception. "The historic house tour is an educational event that offers something for everyone … unique architecture, local

history, ideas for home remodeling and interior decorating plus much more. Through the sharing of their homes, the historic homeowners allow us to better understand the significant and unique history of the buildings that make our area distinctive and beautiful. And most importantly, ticket sales and tour sponsorships provide a tangible way for residents to show their support of our local history and its preservation." This year's Tour features an interesting selection of private, historic homes in Tredyffrin, Easttown and Schuylkill townships. Discover the beauty of historic preservation on the Tour and marvel at how homeowners have skillfully adapted the buildings to 21st century family homes. In addition to the privately-owned historic homes, the Tour celebrates the 50th anniversary of Tredyffrin Library and the

40th anniversary of Jenkins Arboretum & Gardens in Devon, with stops and special historic programming at each location. Tour visitors will also enjoy an opportunity to visit Sunekrest, the circa 1839 stone farmhouse of acclaimed wood sculptor Wharton Esherick (1887-1970), which was recently acquired by the Wharton Esherick Museum. Saturday, September 24th Shaping the Future, Preserving the Past

Historic Preservation And The 12th Annual Historic House Tour Covered Wagon Inn Preservation Tredyffrin Township history will co-exist with CVS Pharmacy This year marks a milestone for historic preservation in Tredyffrin Township.

The 2016 House Tour Preview Party "Classical Affair" on Sunday, September 18th, 6-9 PM at historic Duportail House in Chesterbrook will celebrate the homeowners (and their homes) featured on this year's Tour. The event also serves to thank the generous individuals and corporate sponsors who make the annual house tour possible. You are invited to enjoy the live classical music of Michael Ronstadt's Three Cellos, as well as drinks and food provided by Blaize Catering and Birchrun Hills Farm. The evening of fun will include a sneak preview of the beautiful historic homes featured on the Tour. As an added bonus, the Main Line Antique Show is generously providing two tickets ($30 value) for its show on October 1st and 2nd, with each Tour ticket purchased. As the only antiques show on Philadelphia's Main Line, all proceeds benefit Surrey Services - which helps older adults to live with independence and dignity and to continue as active members of the community.

In January of this year, a CVS pharmacy redevelopment plan threatened the future of the Old Covered Wagon Inn, the two hundred and fifty year old Main Line The Historic Old Covered Wagon Inn landmark that sits at the corner of Lancaster Avenue and Old Eagle School Road in Strafford. Initial plans presented by Montgomery County developer John Zaharchuk and Summit Realty Advisors to the Township's Planning Commission, included the demolition of the 18th century fieldstone Covered Wagon Inn. Citizens and preservationists rallied to save the historic structure, where Count Basie, Duke Ellington and other famous musicians performed and residents had gathered over the years for high school proms, wedding receptions and special family meals. Utilizing social media, traditional newspaper coverage and an online petition, Pattye Benson, president of nonprofit Tredyffrin Historic Preservation Trust and leader of the campaign to save the inn, acknowledged that the developer and property owner would have been within their rights to demolish the historic building.

Tickets for this year's Tour preview party ($30), Tour ($35), and combination preview/house tour ($60) are currently available for purchase. Tickets are limited and advance ticket purchase is recommended. The Trust is a 501c3 nonprofit organization and your contribution is tax-deductible as the law permits. Your ticket purchase supports historic preservation and the Living History Center at Duportail.

With encouragement and support from the Township staff, planning commissioners and supervisors, Summit revised its CVS pharmacy plans to include preserving the historic Main Line landmark on the property. The new redevelopment project no longer includes the demolition of the Old Covered Wagon Inn. Thanks to the developer John Zaharchuk and property owner John Hoopes, the inn which measures about 800 square feet, will remain as the gateway to the Township on the corner of the property. Tredyffrin Township history will co-exist with CVS pharmacy.

Dog Training: Listening Without Using Treats Many dogs learn that they are only rewarded with treats if they see it before they perform. While treats are beneficial to use as a reward, it is important to keep in mind that they should not be used as a bribe. Your dog should not get to pick and choose when he/she wants to work for you. That being said, rewarding good behavior will lead to repeated good behavior. Here are a few other ways you could show your dog your satisfaction without always using treats: Keep the treat out of sight. Hide a cookie in your pocket or under a couch cushion when your dog is not around and then wait for the right moment to ask for something that could even be as simple as "sit." If your dog performs the task, you can magically pull the hidden cookie out and reward him/her.

Red Cross Needs You The American Red Cross has a presence in nearly every community in the United States and around the world. And now, they need YOU! Tredyffrin Township hosts two blood drives each year so watch our calendar, as well as the Township website, for more details on how you can be a part.

Independence - The Red Cross is independent. The national societies, while auxiliaries in the humanitarian services of their governments and subject to the laws of their respective countries, must always maintain their autonomy so that they may be able at all times to act in accordance with Red Cross principles. Voluntary Service - The Red Cross is a voluntary relief movement not prompted in any manner by desire for gain. Unity - There can be only one Red Cross society in any one country. It must be open to all. It must carry on its humanitarian work throughout its territory.

Fundamental Principles of the Global Red Cross Network

Humanity - The Red Cross, born of a desire to bring assistance without discrimination to the wounded on the battlefield, endeavors, in its international and national capacity, to prevent and alleviate human suffering wherever it may be found. Its purpose is to protect life and health and to ensure respect for the human being. It promotes mutual understanding, friendship, cooperation and lasting peace amongst all peoples. Impartiality - It makes no discrimination as to nationality, race, religious beliefs, class or political opinions. It endeavors to relieve the suffering of individuals, being guided solely by their needs, and to give priority to the most urgent cases of distress. Neutrality - In order to continue to enjoy the confidence of all, the Red Cross may not take sides in hostilities or engage at any time in controversies of a political, racial, religious or ideological nature.

Universality - The Red Cross is a worldwide institution in which all societies have equal status and share equal responsibilities and duties in helping each other.

Working to Ensure an Adequate Blood Supply

The Red Cross is constantly working to increase the availability of blood and blood products. This includes educating potential donors about healthy habits that will reduce deferrals such as for low iron, improving the yield from platelet donors, and using containers that extend the time that blood can be safely shipped. Increasing diverse blood donor recruitment is critical to the future of our Nation's blood supply. The Red Cross is implementing initiatives throughout the country to increase the number of blood donors in diverse communities and raise awareness of the need to give blood. The Red Cross also works to find rare blood donors to meet the specialized needs of patients all over the country. Through its 39 Immunohematology Reference Laboratories, offering support to hospitals across the country, and its collaboration with AABB on the American Rare Donor Program, the Red Cross helps ensure that patients will get the blood they need at any time of the day or night.

Donation Eligibility

To ensure the safety of blood donation for both donors and recipients, all volunteer blood donors must be evaluated to determine their eligibility to give blood. The final determination will be made on the day of the donation at the blood drive or blood donation center. If you were deferred from donating in the past, you may be able to donate again. Blood donors must: Be in good general health and feeling well. Be at least 17-years-old in most states, or 16-years-old with parental consent if allowed by state law. Weigh at least 110 lbs. Additional weight requirements apply for donors 18-yearsold and younger and all high school donors.
