Saying GOOD-BYE to Holbrook

Previous employees of Holbrook Elementary met at the school to reminiscence about their time on campus. The school building is currently being abated and will be demolished. The property will be returned to green space that will be maintained by the district. Many thanks to White Oaks Photography for the photo!

works to prevent youth suicide through education, training and peer intervention. These three Hope Squad leaders from LHS attended the Hope Squad Student Leadership Conference and will share what they learned with other members.

Sophia Rohrs (Junior – Wrestling)

On Sunday February 13th, at 1:30pm, Sophia became the first girls State Qualifier ever for Lebanon wrestling. Sophia finished 2nd overall at the District tournament in an extremely tough 140# bracket. She was joined by four of her teammates who qualified shortly thereafter (Emilie Cameron 110#, Alex Wilson 120#, Morgan Cope 135#, Lexi Fornshell 145#). Sophia finished 5th in the State this weekend in Columbus! What an amazing inaugural season for the girls wrestling program!

Luke Marsh (Senior – Wrestling)

Luke captured the Lebanon High School record for career wins on January 26th at Ryle. Luke secured win #138 that night surpassing Sean Enright (‘93) who finished his illustrious career with 137 wins. He looks to finish this year strong! Luke has already won two sectional titles, has qualified for State all three years and was named ECC Wrestler of The Year in 2021. The postseason begins at Sectionals on February 27th.

Katie Fisher (Junior – Swimming)

This past weekend at Miami University, Katie clinched another trip to the State Meet in Canton.

Katie has set new school records this year in the 50 Free, 100 Fly, and 200 Fly. She also set a new meet record at the Mason Invite in the 200 Free. Katie finished 2nd in the 200 IM and 5th in the 100 Breaststroke at the ECC Championship and was also part of the 5th place 400 Freestyle relay team and the 4th place 200 Medley Relay for the Warriors. She recently committed to continue her swim career after high school at Marshall University.
