ԳԱՂԱՏԱՑԻՆԵՐՈՒՆ ԳՐՈՒԱԾ ՆԱՄԱԿԷՆ 4.3-18 Նոյնպէս ալ մենք, երբ մանուկ էինք, աշխարհի սկզբունքներուն տակ ստրուկ էինք: Բայց երբ ժամանակը լրումին հասաւ, Աստուած ղրկեց իր Որդին՝ որ կնոջմէ ծնաւ եւ Օրէնքին տակ մտաւ, որպէսզի փրկանքով գնէ Օրէնքին տակ եղողները. որպէսզի մենք որդեգրութի՛ւնը ստանանք: Եւ քանի որ դուք որդիներ էք, Աստուած ձեր սիրտերուն մէջ ղրկեց իր Որդիին Հոգին, որ կ՚աղաղակէ. «Աբբա՛, Հա՛յր»: Հետեւաբար ա՛լ ստրուկ չես, հապա՝ որդի. ու եթէ որդի, ուրեմն՝ Աստուծոյ ժառանգորդը Քրիստոսի միջոցով: Ուրեմն այն ատեն երբ չէիք ճանչնար Աստուած, կը ծառայէիք անոնց՝ որ բնութեամբ աստուածներ չէին: Սակայն հիմա որ ճանչցաք Աստուած, կամ մա՛նաւանդ՝ ճանչցուեցաք Աստուծմէ, ի՞նչպէս կը վերադառնաք այն տկար եւ աղքատ սկզբունքներուն, որոնց դարձեալ կ՚ուզէք ստրուկ ըլլալ: Կը պահէք օրերը, ամիսները, ժամանակներն ու տարիները. կը վախնամ ձեզի համար, որ գուցէ զուր տեղը աշխատած ըլլամ ձեր վրայ: Եղբայրնե՛ր, կ՚աղերսե՛մ ձեզի, ինծի՛ պէս եղէք, որովհետեւ ես ալ ձեզի պէս եղայ. դուք բնա՛ւ վնասած չէք ինծի: Դուք գիտէք թէ ի՛նչպէս՝ մարմինիս տկարութեամբ՝ աւետարանեցի ձեզի առաջին անգամ. բայց մարմինիս վրայ կրած փորձութիւնս չանարգեցիք, ո՛չ ալ պժգացիք. հապա Աստուծոյ հրեշտակի մը պէս ընդունեցիք զիս, Քրիստոս Յիսուսի պէս: Ուստի ո՞ւր է՝՝ ձեր այդ ատենուան երանութիւնը. քանի որ ես կը վկայեմ ձեզի թէ եթէ կարելի ըլլար՝ ձեր աչքե՛րը պիտի խլէիք եւ զանոնք ինծի տայիք: Միթէ ձեր թշնամի՞ն եղայ՝ ձեզի ճշմարտութիւնը խօսելով: Անոնք նախանձախնդիր են ձեզի հանդէպ, բայց ո՛չ բարի նպատակով. նոյնիսկ կ՚ուզեն մեզ վտարել, որպէսզի նախանձախնդիր ըլլաք իրե՛նց հանդէպ: Սակայն լաւ է նախանձախնդիր ըլլալ բարիին հանդէպ՝ ամէ՛ն ատեն, եւ ո՛չ թէ միայն երբ ձեր մէջ ներկայ եմ:

ՂՈՒԿԱՍԻ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԷՆ 4.14-23 Յիսուս Հոգիին զօրութեամբ վերադարձաւ Գալիլեա, եւ անոր համբաւը տարածուեցաւ այդ գաւառին ամբողջ շրջակայքը: Ինք կը սորվեցնէր անոնց ժողովարաններուն մէջ, ու կը փառաւորուէր բոլորէն: Երբ եկաւ Նազարէթ, ուր ինք մեծցած էր, իր սովորութեան համաձայն Շաբաթ օրը մտաւ ժողովարանը, ու կանգնեցաւ որ կարդայ: Տուին անոր Եսայի մարգարէին գիրքը: Երբ բացաւ գիրքը, գտաւ այն տեղը՝ ուր գրուած էր. «Տէրոջ Հոգին իմ վրաս է. որովհետեւ օծեց զիս աղքատներուն աւետարանելու, ղրկեց զիս կոտրած սիրտ ունեցողները բժշկելու, գերիներուն՝ ազատ արձակում եւ կոյրերուն տեսողութիւն յայտարարելու, հարստահարութիւն կրողները ազատ արձակելու, Տէրոջ բարեհաճութեան տարին յայտարարելու»: Յետոյ գոցեց գիրքը, տուաւ սպասաւորին, ու նստաւ: Բոլոր ժողովարանը եղողները իրենց աչքերը սեւեռած էին անոր վրայ: Ուստի սկսաւ ըսել անոնց. «Այսօր այս գրուածը իրագործուեցաւ, ու ձեր ականջները լսեցին»: Բոլորը կը վկայէին անոր մասին, կը զարմանային անոր բերանէն ելած շնորհալի խօսքերուն վրայ, եւ կ՚ըսէին. «Ասիկա Յովսէփի որդին չէ՞»: Ինք ալ ըսաւ անոնց. «Իրաւ դուք ինծի պիտի ըսէք սա՛ առածը. “Բժի՛շկ, դուն քե՛զ բուժէ: Ո՜րչափ բաներ լսեցինք՝ որ Կափառնայումի մէջ կատարուեցան. հո՛ս ալ ըրէ՝ քո՛ւ բնագաւառիդ մէջ”»:
GALATIANS 4.3-18 So also, when we were underage, we were in slavery under the elemental spiritual forces a of the world. But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba, c Father.” So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir. Formerly, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those who by nature are not gods. But now that you know God—or rather are 4
known by God—how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again? You are observing special days and months and seasons and years! I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you. I plead with you, brothers and sisters, become like me, for I became like you. You did me no wrong. As you know, it was because of an illness that I first preached the gospel to you, and even though my illness was a trial to you, you did not treat me with contempt or scorn. Instead, you welcomed me as if I were an angel of God, as if I were Christ Jesus himself. Where, then, is your blessing of me now? I can testify that, if you could have done so, you would have torn out your eyes and given them to me. Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth? Those people are zealous to win you over, but for no good. What they want is to alienate you from us, so that you may have zeal for them. It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always, not just when I am with you.
LUKE 4.14-23 Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about him spread through the whole countryside. He was teaching in their synagogues, and everyone praised him. He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. He stood up to read, and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written: “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him. He began by saying to them, “Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.”All spoke well of him and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his lips. “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?” they asked. Jesus said to them, “Surely you will quote this proverb

to me: ‘Physician, heal yourself!’ And you will tell me, ‘Do here in your hometown what we have heard that you did in Capernaum.”

ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԻՉՆԵՐՈՒ ՄԱՏԹԷՈՍԻ, ՄԱՐԿՈՍԻ, ՂՈՒԿԱՍԻ ԵՒ ՅՈՎՀԱՆՆԷՍԻ Այս տարի Հոկտեմբեր 17-ին Հայաստանեայց եկեղեցին կը յիշատակէ տօնը Քրիստոսի կեանքն ու քարոզչութիւնը պատմող Սուրբ աւետարանիչներու՝ Մատթէոսի, Մարկոսի, Ղուկասի եւ Յովհաննէսի: Մատթէոսը եւ Յովհաննէսը 12 առաքեալներէն էին, իսկ Մարկոսն ու Ղուկասը՝ 72-էն:

ՄԱՏԹԷՈՍ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԻՉԸ Գալիլիայէն էր՝ Կառափնիոյ բնակիչ եւ պաշտօնով մաքսաւոր էր: Իր հրէական անունը Ղեւի էր, որ թարգմանաբար կը նշանակէ Աստուածատուր: Երբ Յիսուս զինք իր 12 առաքեալներէն մէկը ըլլալու կանչեց, ան անմիջապէս Տէրոջը հետեւեցաւ եւ դարձաւ Անոր աշակերտը: Ան քարոզած է Պաղեստին եւ Պարթեւաստան: Հաւատացեալ հրեաներու խնդրանքով ան գրի առաւ իր բանաւոր քարոզները, որ հիմը դարձան իր Աւետարանին: Նահատակուած է Եթովպիայ, կամ՝ Պարթևաստան: Մատթէոսի խորհըդանիշը թեւաւոր մարդն է: ՄԱՐԿՈՍ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԻՉԸ Աւանդութեան համաձայն մէկն էր այն կոյրերէն, որ բժշըկւած էին Քրիստոսի ձեռքով: Այն վերնատունը, ուր Յիսուսի եւ Անոր աշակերտներու համար եղաւ իբրեւ օթեւան եւ աղօթատեղի, կը պատկանէր Մարկոսի ծնողներուն: Մարկոս աշակերտած է Պետրոս եւ Պօղոս առաքեալներուն, եղած է անոնց քարտուղար եւ թարգմանիչ: Աւետարանը գրած է Պետրոս առաքեալի պատմածներու յիշողութեամբ: Մարկոսը կը համարուի Աղէքսանդրիոյ աթոռին առաջին եպիսկոպոսը: Նահա7
տակուած է Եգիպտոս՝ հեթանոսներու ձեռքով: Ս. Մարկոս կը համարուի Ղըպտի Ուղղափառ Եկեղեցւոյ հիմնադիրը: Մարկոս աւետարանիչին խորհրդանիշն է թեւաւոր առիւծը։ ՂՈՒԿԱՍ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԻՉԸ Ծագումով յոյն բժիշկ մըն էր, պատմաբան եւ նկարիչ՝ Սուրիոյ Անտիոք քաղաքէն: Աշակերտած է Պօղոս առաքեալին եւ դարձած անոր հաւատարիմ գործակիցը: Աւանդութեան համաձայն՝ իր Աւետարանը գրած է Անտիոք՝ Պօղոս առաքեալի քարոզչութեան համաձայն: Նահատակուած է Մակեդոնիա: Ղուկասի խորհրդանիշն է թեւաւոր ցուլը:
ՅՈՎՀԱՆՆԷՍ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԻՉԸ Յիսուսի 12 Առաքեալներէն կըրտսերագոյնն է, բայց բոլոր առաքեալներէն ամենէն երկարը ապրած եւ վախճանած է 94 տարեկանին: Ինքն էր, որ Յիսուսի ետեւէն գնաց Գեթսեմանիէն մինչեւ Գողգոթա: Երբ արդէն շատ ծեր էր, շարունակ կ'ըսէր. «Զաւակներս սիրեցէք զիրար»: Այն հարցին թէ ինչու այդքան յաճախ ինք կր կրկնէ այդ խօսքերը, կը պատասխանէր. «Տէրոջը պատուիրանն է: Եթէ սէր ունիք, ուրիշ բանի մը կարիք չէք ունենար»: Իր Աւետարանը գրած է Եփեսոս: Գրած է նաեւ 3 ընդհանրական թուղթերը եւ Յայտնութիւնը: Յովհաննէսի խորհրդանիշն է արծիւը: 8
FEAST OF THE EVANGELISTS STS. MATHEW, MARK, LUKE AND JOHN This year, On October 17, 2026, the Armenian Church commemorated the Feast of Holy Evangelists Matthew Mark, Luke and John, who wrote the 4 Gospels of Jesus Christ. The word Evangelist comes from the Greek Euaggelistes which means "one who brings good news.". Matthew and John were among the original twelve apostles of Christ; Mark and Luke were apparently amongst 72 disciples. ST. MATHEW was a tax collector in Capernaum, Galilee. He is the author of the first Gospel. The name of Matthew is the Greek version of his Hebrew name Levi, which means God-given. Following God’s will, he became one of the Christ's followers. He has preached the Word of God in Parthia and Palestine. His symbol is the winged man. ST. MARK is believed to be one of the blind men that were healed by our Lord Jesus Christ. It was the house of his mother -Mary that was the place of prayer for the apostles. He has been the interpreter of St Peter, as well as the friend of St. Paul and Barnabas. He has preached the Word of God in Antioch, Cyprus, Rome and later in Egypt, where he has been martyred. He is the founder of the Coptic Orthodox Church in 64 AC. His symbol is the winged lion. ST. LUKE is the author of the third Gospel. He was of Greek descent and was born in Antioch. According to the tradition he is one of the seventy-two disciples of Jesus Christ. According to St. Paul he was a physician, a historian and an artist. He has preached the Word of God in Achaia, Dalmatia, Italy, Macedonian and was martyred at age 74. His symbol is the winged bull. ST. JOHN is the author of the fourth Gospel, three letters and the Revelation. He was the son of the fisherman Zebedee and the brother of James. Together with James and Peter he witnessed the “transfiguration” of Jesus Christ on the mount Tabor. Together with St. Mary, Holy Godmother, he stood near the cross. After the Pentecost, John went to Ephesus, where he wrote his Gospel. He passed away at the age of 95. His symbol is the winged eagle.

Ի՞ՆՉ ԿԸ ՆՇԱՆԱԿԷ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆ Աւետարան բառը յունարէն evangelion բառի թարգմանութիւնն է, որ կազմուած է ev (բարի) եւ aggeleon (աւետել) բառերէն, այսինքն՝ բարի լուրը աւետել։ Առաջին դարուն, Աւետարաններ, այսինքն՝ Քրիստոսի երկրային կեանքին վերաբերող պատմութիւնները եւ Անոր վարդապետութեան հիմնական դրոյթները պարունակող գիրքեր շատ եղած են, սակայն անոնց ոչ բոլորն էին հաւաստիքի արժանի։ Հետեւաբար, եկեղեցւոյ հայրեր, սուրբ Հոգիի առաջնորդութեամբ ընտրեցին այն 4 գիրքերը՝ Մատթէոսի, Մարկոսի, Ղուկասի եւ Յովհաննէսի Աւետարանները, որոնցմով կը սկսի Նոր Կտակարանը։ Ինչպէս անոնցմէ իւրաքանչիւրը առանձին, այնպէս ալ չորսը միասին կը կոչուին Աւետարան։ Աւետարանել կը նշանակէ աւետիս՝ բարի լուր յայտնել։ Քանի որ Քրիստոսը, որուն կը սպասէին դարերէ ի վեր, ապա խօսիլ Անոր անձին, խօսքերուն, գործերուն եւ տնօրինութեան մասին՝ կը նշանակէ յայտնել փրկութեան եւ երկնքի արքայութեան մասին լուրը։ Ինքը Քրիստոս եկաւ այս լուրը Իր շրթունքներուն՝ ըսելով՝ «ապաշխարեցէք, որովհետեւ երկնքի արքայութիւնը մօտեցեր է» ։ Այնուհետեւ Ան իրագործեց այդ իր կեանքով։
