ԿՈՐՆԹԱՑԻՆԵՐՈՒՆ ՈՒՂՂՈՒԱԾ ԵՐԿՐՈՐԴ ՆԱՄԱԿԷՆ13.5-13 Փորձեցէ՛ք դուք ձեզ՝ թէ հաւատքին մէ՛ջն էք. քննեցէ՛ք դուք ձեզ: Չէ՞ք գիտեր դուք ձեզմէ՝ թէ Յիսուս Քրիստոս ձեր մէջն է, եթէ խոտելի չըլլաք: Բայց կը յուսամ թէ պիտի գիտնաք՝ թէ մենք խոտելի չենք: Կ՚աղօթեմ Աստուծոյ՝ որ դուք ո՛չ մէկ չարիք ընէք. ո՛չ թէ՝ որպէսզի մենք գնահատելի երեւինք, հապա՝ որպէսզի դուք ընէք ինչ որ պարկեշտ է, թէեւ մենք խոտելի թուինք: Որովհետեւ ճշմարտութեան դէմ ոչինչ կրնանք ընել, հապա՝ ճշմարտութեան համար: Քանի որ կ՚ու-րախանանք՝ երբ մենք տկար ենք, իսկ դուք՝ զօրաւոր էք. սա՛ կ՚ըղձանք նաեւ ձեր կատարելութիւնը: Ուստի կը գրեմ ձեզի այս բաները՝ բացակայ ըլլալով, որպէսզի երբ ներկայ ըլլամ՝ սաստկութեամբ չվարուիմ այն իրաւասութեան համեմատ, որ Տէրը տուաւ ինծի՝ շինելու, եւ ո՛չ թէ քանդելու համար: Վերջապէս, եղբայրնե՛ր, ո՛ղջ եղէք: Կատարեա՛լ եղէք, լա՛ւ մխիթարուեցէք, միաբա՛ն եղէք, խաղաղութեա՛մբ ապրեցէք. եւ սիրոյ ու խաղաղութեան Աստուածը ձեզի հետ պիտի ըլլայ: Բարեւեցէ՛ք զիրար սուրբ համբոյրով. բոլոր սուրբերը կը բարեւեն ձեզ: Տէր Յիսուս Քրիստոսի շնորհքը, Աստուծոյ սէրը եւ Սուրբ Հոգիին հաղորդութիւնը ձեր բոլորին հետ: Ամէն: ՄԱՐԿՈՍԻ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԷՆ 11.27-33 Դարձեալ եկան Երուսաղէմ: Երբ կը քալէր տաճարին մէջ, քահանայապետները, դպիրներն ու երէցները եկան անոր, եւ ըսին. «Ի՞նչ իշխանութեամբ կ՚ընես այդ բաները. ո՞վ տուաւ քեզի այդ իշխանութիւնը՝ որ ընես այդ բաները»: Յիսուս պատասխանեց անոնց. «Ես ալ ձեզի՛ հարցնեմ բան մը. պատասխանեցէ՛ք ինծի, ու ես պիտի ըսեմ ձեզի թէ ի՛նչ իշխանութեամբ կ՚ընեմ այդ բաները: “Յովհաննէսի մկրտութիւնը երկինքէ՞ն էր՝ թէ մարդոցմէ”: Պատասխանեցէ՛ք ինծի»: Անոնք կը մտածէին իրենց մէջ՝ ըսելով. «Եթէ պատասխանենք. “Երկինքէն”, պիտի ըսէ. “Հապա ինչո՞ւ չհաւատացիք անոր”: Իսկ եթէ պատասխանենք. “Մարդոցմէ” », կը վախնային ժողովուրդէն, որովհետեւ բոլորը ի՛րապէս մարգարէ կը նկատէին՝՝ Յովհաննէսը: Ուստի պատասխանեցին Յիսուսի. «Չենք 3
գիտեր»: Յիսուս ալ պատասխանեց անոնց. «Ես ալ չեմ ըսեր ձեզի թէ ի՛նչ իշխանութեամբ կ՚ընեմ այդ բաները»: CORINTHIANS 13:5-13 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test? And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test. Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong—not so that people will see that we have stood the test but so that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed. For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. We are glad whenever we are weak but you are strong; and our prayer is that you may be fully restored. This is why I write these things when I am absent, that when I come I may not have to be harsh in my use of authority—the authority the Lord gave me for building you up, not for tearing you down. Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you. Greet one another with a holy kiss. All God’s people here send their greetings. MARK 11:27-33 They arrived again in Jerusalem, and while Jesus was walking in the temple courts, the chief priests, the teachers of the law and the elders came to him. “By what authority are you doing these things?” they asked. “And who gave you authority to do this?” Jesus replied, “I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I am doing these things. John’s baptism—was it from heaven, or of human origin? Tell me!” They discussed it among themselves and said, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will ask, ‘Then why didn’t you believe him?’ But if we say, ‘Of human origin’ . . .” (They feared the people, for everyone held that John really was a prophet.) So they answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Jesus said, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I am doing these things.”ls in heaven, nor the Son, f but only the Father. 4
ՍՐԲՈՑ ԵՕԹԱՆԱՍՆԻՑ ԵՒ ԵՐԿՈՒՑ ԱՇԱԿԵՐՏԱՑՆ ՔՐԻՍՏՈՍԻ Այս Շաբաթ՝ 3 Հոկտեմբեր 2026-ին, Հայ Առաքելական Սուրբ Եկեղեցին կը յիշատակէ մեր Տիրոջ՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի եօթանասուներկու սուրբ աշակերտները։ Անոնց առաքելութեան մասին կը պատմէ Ղուկասու Աւետարանը (Ղուկաս 10.1–20)։ Տէրը ընտրեց զանոնք եւ երկու առ երկու ղրկեց այն քաղաքներն ու վայրերը, ուր Ինք երթալու էր։ Անոնց պարտականութիւնն էր պատրաստել ժողովուրդը Քրիստոսի գալուստին, բժշկել հիւանդները եւ հռչակել, թէ Աստուծոյ Արքայութիւնը մօտեցած է։ Յիսուս Իր աշակերտներուն յիշեցուց, թէ «հունձքը առատ է, իսկ մշակները՝ քիչ»։ Ան զանոնք ղրկեց պարզութեամբ, խոնարհութեամբ եւ Աստուծոյ նախախնամութեան հանդէպ կատարեալ վստահութեամբ։ Անոնք խաղաղութիւն պիտի տանէին իւրաքանչիւր տուն եւ իրենց կեանքով ու խօսքով պիտի վկայէին Աստուծոյ սիրոյն մասին։ Անոնց զօրութիւնը չէր բխեր նիւթական միջոցներէ կամ մարդկային դիրքէ, այլ՝ զիրենք ղրկող Տիրոջ իշխանութենէն։ Երբ աշակերտները ուրախութեամբ վերադարձան եւ պատմեցին իրենց կատարած գործերուն մասին, Քրիստոս անոնց սորվեցուց, որ իսկական ուրախութիւնը ո՛չ թէ իրենց տրուած իշխանութեան մէջ էր, այլ այն իրողութեան, որ իրենց անունները երկինքի մէջ արձանագրուած էին։ Այսպիսով, Տէրը ցոյց տուաւ, թէ ճշմարիտ աշակերտութիւնը պատիւ կամ փառք փնտռելու մէջ չէ, այլ՝ հաւատարմութեան, ծառայութեան եւ Աստուծոյ կամքը կատարելու մէջ։ Աւետարանի հին ձեռագիրներուն մէջ աշակերտներուն թիւը երբեմն եօթանասուն, երբեմն ալ եօթանասուներկու կը նշուի։ 5
Հայ Եկեղեցին իր տօնացոյցին մէջ պահպանած է եօթանասուներկու աշակերտներու յիշատակութիւնը։ Եկեղեցական աւանդութեան համաձայն՝ անոնք հաւատարիմ մնացին իրենց կոչումին եւ Աւետարանի լոյսը տարածեցին Հռոմէական կայսրութեան տարբեր կողմերը եւ անոր սահմաններէն անդին։ Եօթանասուներկու աշակերտներուն յիշատակութիւնը մեզի կը յիշեցնէ, թէ Քրիստոսի Աւետարանը տարածելու կոչումը միայն Տասներկու Առաքեալներուն չէր յանձնուած։ Քրիստոսի իւրաքանչիւր հետեւորդ կոչուած է իր ընտանիքին, համայնքին եւ շրջապատին մէջ խաղաղութեան, սիրոյ, ողորմութեան եւ ճշմարտութեան վկան դառնալու։ Այս տօնին առիթով խնդրենք սուրբ աշակերտներուն բարեխօսութիւնը, որպէսզի մենք եւս հաւատարմութեամբ ծառայենք Տիրոջ եւ մեր կեանքով տարածենք Քրիստոսի Աւետարանին լոյսը։

THE HOLY SEVENTY-TWO DISCIPLES OF CHRIST This Saturday, October 3, 2026, the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church commemorates the seventy-two holy disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ. Their mission is described in the Gospel of Luke (Luke 10:1–20). The Lord appointed them and sent them out two by two to every town and place He intended to visit. They were called to prepare the people for Christ’s coming, heal the sick, and proclaim that the Kingdom of God had drawn near. Jesus reminded His disciples that “the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.” He sent them forth in simplicity, humility, and complete trust in God’s providence. They were to bring peace into every home and bear witness to God’s love through their words and their lives. Their strength came not from material possessions or human status, but from the authority of the Lord who had sent them. When the disciples returned with joy and spoke of the works they had accomplished, Christ taught them that their true joy should not rest in the authority given to them, but in the knowledge that their names were written in heaven. The Lord thereby revealed that true discipleship is not about seeking honour or glory, but about faithfulness, service, and obedience to the will of God. Ancient manuscripts of the Gospel differ, with some referring to seventy disciples and others to seventy-two. The Armenian Church has preserved the commemoration of the seventy-two disciples in its liturgical calendar. According to Church tradition,

they remained faithful to their calling and carried the light of the Gospel throughout the Roman Empire and beyond. The commemoration of the seventy-two disciples reminds us that the mission of spreading Christ’s Gospel was not entrusted solely to the Twelve Apostles. Every follower of Christ is called to become a witness of peace, love, mercy, and truth within the family, the community, and wherever God may send them. On this feast, let us ask for the intercession of the holy disciples, so that we too may serve the Lord faithfully and spread the light of Christ’s Gospel through our lives.
