ՊՕՂՈՍ ԱՌԱՔ. ԿՈՐՆԹԱՑԻՆԵՐՈՒՆ ԳՐԱԾ 2-ՐԴ ՆԱՄԱԿԷՆ 1.1-11 Պօղոս, Աստուծոյ կամքովը Յիսուս Քրիստոսին առաքեալը ու Տիմոթէոս մեր եղբայրը. Կորնթոսի մէջ եղած Աստուծոյ եկեղեցիին եւ Աքայիայի մէջ եղող բոլոր սուրբերուն. Շնորհք եւ խաղաղութիւն ձեզի Աստուծմէ մեր Հօրմէն ու Տէր Յիսուս Քրիստոսէն։ Օրհնեալ ըլլայ Աստուած՝ մեր Տէր Յիսուս Քրիստոսին Հայրը՝ գթութեան Հայրը եւ ամէն մխիթարութեան Աստուածը. Որ մեզ կը մխիթարէ մեր բոլոր նեղութիւններուն մէջ, որպէս զի մենք կարող ըլլանք մխիթարել զանոնք՝ որ ամէն տեսակ նեղութիւններու մէջ են, այն մխիթարութիւնովը որով մենք Աստուծմէ կը մխիթարուինք. Քանզի ինչպէս Քրիստոսին չարչարանքները մեր վրայ շատ եղան, նմանապէս Քրիստոսին ձեռքովը մեր մխիթարութիւնն ալ շատ ըլլայ։ Եթէ նեղութիւն քաշենք՝ ձեր մխիթարութեանը ու փրկութեանը համար է եւ եթէ մխիթարուինք՝ ձեր մխիթարութեանը ու փրկութեանը համար է, որ կը տոկաք համբերելով այն չարչարանքներուն՝ որոնցմով մենք ալ կը չարչարուինք։ Մեր յոյսը հաստատուն է ձեզի համար, վասն զի գիտենք թէ ինչպէս մեր չարչարանքներուն հաղորդակից եղաք, նոյնպէս ալ մխիթարութեանը պիտի ըլլաք։ Վասն զի Ասիոյ մէջ մեզի պատահած նեղութիւնները չեմ ուզեր ձեզի իմացնել, եղբա՛յրներ, թէ մեր կարողութենէն շատ աւելի ծանրաբեռնւեցանք, նոյնիսկ յոյսերնիս կտրեցինք ապրելէ։ Բայց մահուան վճիռը մեր վրայ զգացինք, որպէս զի մենք մեզի չապաւինինք, հապա Աստուծոյ՝ որ մեռելները կը յարուցանէ. Որ այնպիսի մեծ մահուանէ մեզ փրկեց ու կը փրկէ Ու կը յուսանք թէ տակաւին պիտի փրկէ, մեզի համար ձեր ըրած աղօթքին օգնութեամբը. որպէս զի շատերուն աղօթքին պատճառաւ մեզի եղած շնորհքին համար՝ շատերէն գոհութիւն տրուի մեզի համար։

ՄԱՐԿՈՍԻ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԷՆ 4:35-40 Նոյն օրը երբ իրիկուն եղաւ, ըսաւ աշակերտներուն. «Եկէք ծովուն անդիի կողմը անցնինք»։ Անոնք ալ ժողովուրդը արձակելով՝ առին զինք, որ արդէն նաւուն մէջ էր. եւ ուրիշ նաւակներ ալ կային անոր հետ։ Մեծ փոթորիկ մը ելաւ եւ ալիքները նաւուն վրայ կու գային, այնպէս որ գրեթէ նաւը կը լեցուէր։ Ինք նաւուն ետեւի կողմը բարձի վրայ կը քնանար. արթնցուցին զանիկա եւ ըսին անոր. «Վա՛րդապետ, հոգդ չէ՞ որ կը կորսուինք»։ Ու ելլելով՝ սաստեց հովին եւ ծովուն ըսաւ. «Դադարէ՛, լո՛ւռ կեցիր»։ Հովը դադարեցաւ եւ մեծ խաղաղութիւն եղաւ։ Ըսաւ անոնց. «Ինչո՞ւ այդպէս վախկոտ էք, ի՞նչպէս կ’ըլլայ որ հաւատք չունիք»։
2 CORINTHIANS 1.1-11 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the church of God in Corinth, together with all his holy people throughout Achaia: Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God. For just as we share abundantly in the sufferings of Christ, so also our comfort abounds through Christ. If we are distressed, it is for your comfort and salvation; if we are comforted, it is for your comfort, which produces in your patient endurance of the same sufferings we suffer. And our hope for you is firm, because we know that just as you share in our sufferings, so also you share in our comfort. We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers and sisters, aabout the troubles we experienced in the province of Asia. We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this 4
happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. He has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us again. On him we have set our hope that he will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers. Then many will give thanks on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many. Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity. We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom but on God’s grace. For we do not write you anything you cannot read or understand. And I hope that, as you have understood us in part, you will come to understand fully that you can boast of us just as we will boast of you in the day of the Lord Jesus.
MARK 4:35-40 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?”.

Առաքելական եկեղեցին կը տօնէ Գիւտ Գօտւոյ Սուրբ Աստուածածնի: Աւանդութեան համաձայն՝ այդ գօտին Տիրամայրը տուած է Թովմաս առաքեալին եւ Քրիստոնէութեան նախնական շրջանին այս սրբութիւնը հաւատացեալները մեծ երկիւղածութեամբ կը պահէին եւ անոր հետ կապուած էին բազում հրաշքներ: 5-րդ դարու սկիզբը, Արկադէոս կայսեր օրով (395408) Երուսաղէմի մէջ Աստուածածնի պատկանած Գօտին երեւան եկաւ եւ հանդիսաւոր կերպով Կ. Պոլիս բերուեցաւ եւ հոն Ս. Աստուածածին եկեղեցւոյ մէջ պատիւով պահուեցաւ եւ բարեպաշտական առարկայ դարձաւ: Ժամա-նակի ընթացքին, Ս. Կոյսի գօտին Կոստանդնուպոլիսէն տարուեցաւ Կապադովկիա, բայց Հուստիանոս կայսեր օրով կրկին տեղափոխուեցաւ Կոստանդնուպոլիս:Աստուածամօր գօտիի հետ կապուած բազում հրաշքներէն է Յունաց Զոյա կայսրուհիին բժշկութիւնը: Կայսրուհին երկար տարիներ ծանր հիւանդ էր ու անոր երազին մէջ կը յայտնուի, թէ ինք կը բժշկուի, երբ Աստուածամօր գօտին անոր ուսին դրուի: Բժշկուելէն ետք, Կայսրուհին Տիրամօր գօտին ոսկեայ թելով զարդակարեց ու 6
զայն հանդիսութեամբ տե-ղադրուեցաւ տապանակին մէջ: Հետագային Ս. Աստուածածնի գօտիէն կտորներ բաժնուեցան տարբեր եկեղեցիներ: Հայ եկեղեցւոյ տօնացոյցի մէջ այս տօնը հաստատ կերպով դրուեցաւ 1774թ-ին, Սիմէոն Երեւանցի Կաթողիկոսի հրատարակած բա-րեփոխեալ տօնացոյցին մէջ: Աստուածածնի Գօտիին գտնուե-լուն տօնը Հայ եկեղեցին կը նշէ Աստուածածնայ Վերափոխման տօնին յաջորդող երկրորդ Կիրակի օրը: Տoնը շարժական է, որ 7 օրերու շարժականութեամբ Օգոստոս 26-էն Սեպտեմբեր 1-ը կրնայ հանդիպիլ: DISCOVERY OF THE BELT OF THE HOLY MOTHER OF GOD This Sunday September 1, the Armenian church is celebrating The Feast of Discovery of St. Mary’s Belt. It is believed that the Belt was originally made by St. Mary herself and was given to Apostle Thomas.The Holy Mother of God was assumed to heaven by her Divine Son and there are no relics of her earthly body. Therefore, her personal belongings became articles of devotion: her Belt and her Box. Her Belt or girdle, was discovered in Jerusalem in the fifth century during the reign of Emperor Arcadius, which was later moved to Constantinople and placed in the Cathedral dedicated to the Holy Mother of God. According to tradition, after Empress Zoe (the wife of Emperor Leo VI the Wise) was healed by the power of the Belt, she embroidered it with gold thread. Before 18th century the celebration of the Discovery of the Belt of the Holy Mother of God was considered a voluntary practice. It was established into the Calendar of Feasts (Տօնացոյց) of the Armenian Church during the revisions made by Catholicos Simeon Yerevantzi (Catholicos 1763-1780). The Feast of the Discovery of St. Mary’s Belt is celebrated on the second Sunday following the Feast of Assumption, which falls somewhere from August 26 to September 1.

Սուրբ Յովհաննէս Կարապետը, որ կոչուեցաւ Տիրոջ ճանապարհը պատրաստելու, ժողովուրդը ապաշխարութեան հրաւիրեց եւ Յորդանան գետին մէջ մկրտեց մեր Տէրը՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոսը։ Ան անվախօրէն քարոզեց ճշմարտութիւնը եւ իր հաւատարմութիւնը կնքեց նահատակութեամբ։ Յոբ Արդարը Հին Կտակարանի հաւատքի եւ համբերութեան մեծագոյն դէմքերէն է։ Կորսնցնելով իր զաւակները, հարստութիւնն ու առողջութիւնը՝ ան ծանր փորձութիւններու մէջ անգամ չհրաժարեցաւ Աստուծմէ։ Իր տառապանքներուն մէջ Յոբ պահպանեց իր հաւատքը եւ վերջաւորութեան Աստուծոյ օրհնութեան արժանացաւ։ Սուրբ Յովհաննէս Կարապետի եւ Յոբ Արդարի յիշատակը մեզի կը սորվեցնէ ճշմարտութեան մէջ հաստատ մնալ, փորձութիւններու ընթացքին չկորսնցնել մեր յոյսը եւ մեր կեանքը վստահութեամբ յանձնել Աստուծոյ։ COMMEMORATION OF ST. JOHN THE FORERUNNER AND RIGHTEOUS JOB The Armenian Apostolic Holy Church commemorates St. John the Forerunner and Righteous Job, two great examples of faith, perseverance, and unwavering trust in God. St. John the Forerunner was called to prepare the way of the Lord. He preached repentance, calling the people to turn back to God, and baptized our Lord Jesus Christ in the Jordan River. Fearlessly proclaiming the truth, he remained faithful to his divine calling and ultimately sealed his witness through martyrdom. Righteous Job is one of the greatest examples of faith and patience in the Old Testament. After losing his children, his possessions, and his health, he endured profound suffering and trials, yet he did not abandon his faith in God. Through his suffering, Job remained steadfast, and in the end, he received the blessings of God. The commemoration of St. John the Forerunner and Righteous Job reminds us to remain steadfast in the truth, never to lose hope in times of trial, and to entrust our lives to God with faith and confidence. 9

O Most High and Unsearchable One, gracious Ruler of souls, Leader of peace, and perfect measure of impartiality, remember also, in Your goodness, our human enemies, and grant them mercy and forgiveness.
