ԿՈՐՆԹԱՅԵՑԻՆԵՐՈՒՆ ԳՐԱԾ 1-ԻՆ ՆԱՄԱԿԷՆ 13.11-14.5 Երբ մանուկ էի, մանուկի պէս կը խօսէի, մանուկի պէս կը մտածէի, մանուկի կարծիք ունէի. բայց երբ այր մարդ եղայ, մանկական բաները մէկ կողմ դրի: Հիմա կը տեսնենք հայելիի մը մէջէն՝ աղօտ կերպով, բայց այն ատեն՝ պիտի տեսնենք երես առ երես: Հիմա ես մասա՛մբ կը ճանչնամ, բայց այն ատեն պիտի ճանչնամ այնպէս՝ ինչպէս ես ճանչցուած եմ: Իսկ հիմա սա՛ երեքը կը մնան՝ հաւատքը, յոյսը, սէրը. բայց սէ՛րն է ասոնց մեծագոյնը: Սիրո՛յ հետամուտ եղէք, ու նախանձախնդի՛ր եղէք հոգեւոր պարգեւներու, մա՛նաւանդ՝ մարգարէանալու: Որովհետեւ ա՛ն որ կը խօսի անծանօթ լեզուով, կը խօսի ո՛չ թէ մարդոց՝ հապա Աստուծոյ, քանի որ ո՛չ մէկը կը հասկնայ զինք. սակայն ան խորհուրդներ կ՚արտայայտէ հոգիով: Իսկ ա՛ն որ կը մարգարէանայ, կը խօսի մարդո՛ց՝ շինութիւն, յորդոր եւ սփոփանք տալու: Ա՛ն որ անծանօթ լեզուով կը խօսի՝ ինքզի՛նք կը շինէ. բայց ա՛ն որ կը մարգարէանայ՝ եկեղեցի՛ն կը շինէ: Կ՚ուզեմ որ դուք բոլորդ լեզուներ խօսիք, մա՛նաւանդ՝ մարգարէանաք. որովհետեւ ա՛ն որ կը մարգարէանայ, աւելի մեծ է քան ա՛ն որ լեզուներ կը խօսի, բացի եթէ ինք թարգմանէ՝ որպէսզի եկեղեցին շինութիւն ստանայ: ՄԱՐԿՈՍԻ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԷՆ 2.1-12 Դարձեալ Կափառնայում մտաւ քանի մը օր ետք, եւ լսուեցաւ թէ ան տան մը մէջ է: Իսկոյն շատ մարդիկ հաւաքուեցան, այնքան՝ որ ա՛լ տեղ չկար, ո՛չ իսկ դրան շուրջ, ու կը քարոզէր անոնց Աստուծոյ խօսքը: Մարդիկ եկան իրեն՝ բերելով չորս հոգիով փոխադրուած անդամալոյծ մը. բայց տեսնելով որ բազմութենէն չէին կրնար մօտենալ անոր, քակեցին տան տանիքը՝ ուր կը գտնուէր Յիսուս, ու ծակ մը բանալով՝ վար իջեցուցին մահիճը, որուն վրայ պառկած էր անդամալոյծը: Յիսուս տեսնելով անոնց հաւատքը՝ ըսաւ անդամալոյ3
ծին. «Որդեա՛կ, մեղքերդ ներուած են քեզի»: Քանի մը դպիրներ, որ հոն նստած էին, իրենց սիրտերուն մէջ կը մտածէին. «Ինչո՞ւ այս մարդը կ՚ըսէ այսպիսի հայհոյութիւններ. ո՞վ կրնայ մեղքերը ներել՝ բացի Աստուծմէ՝՝»: Յիսուս իսկոյն ըմբռնելով իր հոգիին մէջ՝ որ անոնք այդպէս կը մտածեն իրենք իրենց մէջ, ըսաւ անոնց. «Ինչո՞ւ այդպէս կը մտածէք ձեր սիրտերուն մէջ: Ո՞րը աւելի դիւրին է, “մեղքերդ ներուած են քեզի” ըսե՞լը անդամալոյծին, թէ՝ “ոտքի՛ ելիր, ա՛ռ մահիճդ ու քալէ՛” ըսելը: Բայց որպէսզի գիտնաք թէ մարդու Որդին իշխանութիւն ունի երկրի վրայ մեղքերը ներելու, (ըսաւ անդամալոյծին.) “Քեզի՛ կ՚ըսեմ. "Ոտքի՛ ելիր, ա՛ռ մահիճդ ու գնա՛ տունդ"”»: Ան ալ իսկոյն ոտքի ելաւ, եւ առնելով իր մահիճը՝ դուրս ելաւ բոլորին առջեւէն, այնպէս որ բոլորը զմայլեցան, փառաբանեցին Աստուած ու ըսին. «Այսպիսի բան ամե՛նեւին տեսած չէինք»: 1 CORINTHIANS 13.11-14.5 When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now, we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. Follow the way of love and eagerly desire gifts of the Spirit, especially prophecy. For anyone who speaks in a tongue a does not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort. Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, but the one who prophesies edifies the church. I would like every one of you to speak in tongues, b but I would rather have you prophesy. The one who prophesies is greater than the one who speaks in tongues, c unless someone interprets, so that the church may be edified. MARK 2.1-12 A few days later, when Jesus again entered Capernaum, the people heard that he had come home. They gathered in such large numbers that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the 4
word to them. Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, “Why does this fellow talk like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?” Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, “Why are you thinking these things? Which is easier: to say to this paralyzed man, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’? But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”

ԱՅՍ ԿԻՐԱԿԻ - THIS SUNDAY ԲԱՐԵԿԵՆԴԱՆ Ս. ԱՍՏՈՒԱԾԱԾՆԻ ՊԱՀՈՑ Այս Կիրակի (Օգոստոս 8) Բարեկենդանն է «Ս. Աստուածածնի Պահոց»: Այս շաբաթապահքը կը սկսի Երկուշաբթի եւ կ'աւարտի Շաբաթ: Շաբաթ օրը Նաւակատիք է, զոր պահքին աւելի մեղմ օրն է։ Անոր ընթացքին արգիլւած է միայն մսեղէնը: «Աստուածածնի շաբաթապահք»-ը կ՛աւարտի «Շողակաթի տօն»-ով, որ ամէն տարի կը տօնուի Տիրամօր «Վերափոխման» տաղաւար տօնին նախընթաց օրը, այս տարի՝ Օգոստոս 15-ին: Շողակաթ այն եկեղեցավայրը կամ սրբատեղին է, ուր երկինքէն «շող լուսոյ կաթեաց» Ս. Գրիգոր Լուսաւորիչի ունեցած տեսիլքին ատենը:
EVE OF THE FAST OF ASSUMPTION According to the Armenian Liturgical Calendar this Sunday August 8 is the Eve of the Fast of Assumption of Holy Mother of God. This fast starts on Monday and ends on Saturday. The Saturday is Navagadik, which is the mildest day of the fast. On this day only meat products are not permitted. As the Paregentan օf the Feast of Assumption concludes, on that same Saturday, the Armenian Church also commemorates the Feast of the Apparition of Holy Etchmiadzin or the Feast of Shoghagat of Holy Echmiadzin. This feast commemorates the vision of St. Gregory the Illuminator, where Jesus Christ descended from heavens as a ray of light and showed the site for the foundation of the new cathedral.

ՏՕՆ ՇՈՂԱԿԱԹԻ Ս. ԷՋՄԻԱԾՆԻ «Ս. Աստուածածնի շաբաթապահք»ը կ'աւարտի «Շողակաթի տօն»-ով: Հայ եկեղեցին Ս. Էջմիածնին նուիրւած երկու տօն ունի, «Տօն Կաթողիկէ Ս. Էջմիածնի» (Հոգեգալուստէն երկու Կիրակի յետոյ) եւ «Տօն Շողակաթի»: Այս երկու տօներն ալ կապուած են Ս. Գրիգոր Լուսաւորիչի տեսիլքին հետ, ուր երկինքէն շող կը կաթի եւ Միածինը երկինքէն իջնելով կը մատնանշէ Մայր տաճարի հիմնադրման վայրը: Էջմիածնի տօնը տեսիլքին տօնն է, իսկ Շողակաթի տօնը նոյն տեսիլքին համեմատ կառուցւած Էջմիածնի Մայր Տաճարին նաւակատիքին տօնն է: Պատմական տեղեկութիւններու համաձայն, Էջմիածնի Մայր Տաճարը նուիրագործուած եւ օծուած է 303 թ.՝ Ս. Կոյսի Վերափոխման տօնին օրը եւ Հայ Եկեղեցին Շողակաթի տօնը կը տօնէ Վերափոխման տօնի նախընթաց Շաբաթ օրը: 7
FEAST OF THE APPARITION “SHOGHAKAT” OF HOLY ETCHMIADZIN The Feast of “Shoghakat” of Holy Etchmiadzin commemorates the inauguration of the Cathedral of the Mother See. According to the fifth century Greek historian Agathangelos, St. Gregory had a divine vision, wherein our Lord Jesus Christ descended from Heaven and stroke the ground with His golden hammer. The vision of Gregory became known as “Shoghakat”, as the Saint saw a ray of light descending from heavens. The Armenian church has 2 feasts
dedicated to Holy Etchmiadzin: • the feast of Etchmiadzin, dedicated to the vision where Christ decended from heaven and showed the place of the cathedral (2 weeks after Pentecost) • the feast of Shoghakat, dedicated to the inauguration of the cathedral based on the same vision.

ԲՐՇ. ԳՐԻԳՈՐ ԱՒ. ՍՐԿ. ԹՈԶԱՔԻ ՅՈՒՂԱՐԿԱՒՈՐՈՒԹԻՒՆԸ Ուրբաթ, 7 Օգոստոս 2026-ին, Թորոնթոյի Սուրբ Երրորդութիւն Եկեղեցւոյ մէջ կատարուեցաւ Բրշ. Գրիգոր Աւ. Սրկ. Թոզաքի յուղարկաւորութեան կարգը՝ տխուր եւ յուզումնալից մթնոլորտի մէջ։ Եկեղեցին լեցուած էր Գրիգոր Սարկաւագի ընտանիքի անդամներով, հարազատներով, բարեկամներով, եկեղեցւոյ սպասաւորներով եւ համայնքի բազմաթիւ անդամներով, որոնք եկած էին իրենց վերջին յարգանքը մատուցելու եւ աղօթքով հրաժեշտ տալու սիրելի Գրիգոր Սարկաւագին։ Անոր երկարամեայ ծառայութիւնն ու նուիրումը խոր հետք ձգած էին մեր համայնքի կեանքին մէջ, եւ եկեղեցին լեցուցած բազմութիւնը վկայութիւնն էր այն սիրոյն ու յարգանքին, որ ան վաստակած էր իր երկար տարիներու ծառայութեան ընթացքին։ Յուղարկաւորութեան ընթացքին ընթերցուեցան Գանատահայոց Թեմի Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Աբգար Եպս. Յովակիմեանի եւ ԱՄՆ Արեւմտեան Թեմի Առաջնորդ՝ Գերշ. Տ. Յովնան Արք. Տէրտէրեանի ցաւակցական նամակները։ Զոյգ նամակները ընթերցեց Միսիսակայի Ս. Վարդան Հայց. Առաքելական Եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ՝ Արժ. Տ. Հայարի Քհնյ. Թանաշեան, փոխանցելով Սրբազան Հայրերու ցաւակցութիւններն ու մխիթարական խօսքերը հանգուցեալի ընտանիքին եւ ներկաներուն։ Իսկ յուղարկաւորութեան աւարտին, Գանատահայոց Թեմի Փոխառաջնորդ եւ Սուրբ Երրորդութիւն Հայց. Առաքելական Եկեղեցւոյ հոգեւոր հովիւ՝ Արժ. Տ. Զարեհ Աւ. Քհնյ. 9
Զարգարեան խօսեցաւ յուզիչ եւ ազդեցիկ դամբանական մը՝ անդրադառնալով Գրիգոր Սարկաւագի երկարամեայ ծառայութեան, անոր եկեղեցանուէր կեանքին եւ Սուրբ Երրորդութիւն Եկեղեցւոյ մեծ ընտանիքին մէջ իր ունեցած առանձնայատուկ տեղին։ Իր խօսքին մէջ Տէր Զարեհ ընդգծեց, որ թէեւ այսօր Գրիգոր Սարկաւագի երկրային կեանքի վերջին օրն է, սակայն քրիստոնէական հաւատքով ան վերջ մը չէ, այլ նոր սկիզբ մը՝ երկնային կեանքին մէջ։ Ան յիշեցուց, որ մահը հաւատացեալին համար վերջնական բաժանում չէ, այլ անցում մը այս ժամանակաւոր կեանքէն դէպի յաւիտենականութիւն եւ վերադարձ՝ առ Աստուած։ Տէր Հայրը նաեւ անդրադարձաւ այն հարուստ ժառանգութեան, զոր Գրիգոր Սարկաւագ իր ետին կը թողու՝ շեշտելով, որ անոր տասնամեակներու ներկայութիւնը եւ եկեղեցւոյ հանդէպ ունեցած սէրը պիտի շարունակեն ապրիլ ոչ միայն զինք ճանչցողներու յիշողութեան մէջ, այլեւ այն սերունդներուն մէջ, որոնց համար ան ծառայութեան եւ եկեղեցասիրութեան կենդանի օրինակ հանդիսացաւ։ Սուրբ Երրորդութիւն Հայց. Առաքելական Եկեղեցին անգամ մը եւս իր խորին ցաւակցութիւնները կը յայտնէ Բրշ. Գրիգոր Աւ. Սրկ. Թոզաքեանի ընտանիքին, հարազատներուն եւ բոլոր սիրելիներուն՝ հայցելով Ամենակալ Աստուծմէ, որ երկնային արքայութեան արժանացնէ Իր հաւատարիմ ծառային հոգին եւ մխիթարութիւն պարգեւէ բոլոր սգաւորներուն։ Յիշատակն արդարոյն օրհնութեամբ եղիցի։

Ընդունէ՛ փառաբանական մեր արտայայտութիւնները եւ մեր խոնարհ աղօթքները, ո՛վ Տէր, անդադար բարեխօսութեամբը Քու անարատ եւ ամենաերջանիկ մօրդ՝ սուրբ կոյս Մարիամի, որ Քեզ՝ Ճշմարիտ Աստուածդ ծնաւ իբրեւ մարդ, հողեղէն իր գիրկին մէջ կրելով հողեղէններու եւ հրէղէններու ստեղծիչ հուր աստուածութիւնդ՝ իբրեւ օրինակ բոլոր բանականներուս, որ մեզ արարեցիր եւ կոչեցիր՝ աստուածակիր անօթներ ըլլալու, սրբուած տաճարներ՝ ամենասուրբ Երրորդութեանդ: Այս անսահման, աներեւակայելի եւ անպատմելի շնորհքիդ համար յաւէտ կ’օրհնե՜նք Քեզ: Ամէն: ********* Կեանքի առաջնորդող եւ խաղաղութիւն պարգեւող մեր Աստուածը՝ Քրիստո՛ս, Դո՛ւն առաջնորդէ մեզ, որպէսզի արդարութեան Քու ճամբաներէդ քալենք եւ Քու ողորմութեամբդ հասնինք կեանքի եւ փրկութեան նաւահանգիստը: Որովհետեւ Դո՛ւն ես մեր օգնականը եւ փրկիչը: Քեզի՛ կը վայելեն փառքը, իշխանութիւնն ու պատիւը, այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից: Ամէն: 30
