ՊՕՂՈՍ ԱՌԱՔԵԱԼԻ ԿՈՂՄԷ ԵԲՐԱՅԵՑԻՆԵՐՈՒՆ ԳՐՈՒԱԾ ՆԱՄԱԿԷՆ 13.18-25 Աղօթեցէ՛ք մեզի համար, որովհետեւ համոզուած ենք թէ ունինք բարի խղճմտանք ու կ՚ուզենք ամէն բանի մէջ վարուիլ պարկեշտութեամբ: Բայց առաւելապէս կ՚աղաչե՛մ որ ընէք ատիկա, որպէսզի աւելի՛ շուտ վերադարձուիմ ձեզի: Խաղաղութեան Աստուածը, որ մեռելներէն վեր հանեց մեր Տէրը՝ Յիսուսը -ոչխարներուն մեծ Հովիւը՝ յաւիտենական ուխտին արիւնով-, ամէն բարի գործի մէջ հաստատէ ձեզ՝ իր կամքը գործադրելու, ձեր մէջ իրագործելով իր առջեւ հաճելի եղածը՝ Յիսուս Քրիստոսի միջոցով, որուն փա՜ռք դարէ դար՝՝: Ամէն: Կ՚աղաչե՛մ ձեզի, եղբայրնե՛ր, որ հանդուրժէք այս յորդորական խօսքիս, որովհետեւ համառօտաբար գրեցի ձեզի: Գիտցէ՛ք թէ մեր եղբայրը՝ Տիմոթէոս արձակուած է. եթէ շուտով գայ՝ անոր հետ պիտի տեսնեմ ձեզ: Բարեւեցէ՛ք բոլոր ձեզ կա-ռավարողներն ու բոլոր սուրբերը. կը բարեւեն ձեզ անոնք՝ որ Իտալիայէն են: Շնորհքը ձեր բոլորին հետ: Ամէն: ՂՈՒԿԱՍԻ ԱՒԵՏԱՐԱՆԷՆ 22.24-30 Վէճ մըն ալ եղաւ անոնց մէջ, թէ իրենցմէ ո՛վ պիտի համարւի մեծագոյնը: Ան ալ ըսաւ անոնց. «Հեթանոսներուն թագաւորնե՛րը կը տիրեն իրենց, եւ անոնք որ կ՚իշխեն իրենց վրայ՝ բարերար կը կոչուին: Բայց դուք այնպէս պէտք չէ ըլլաք. հապա ա՛ն որ ձեր մէջ մեծագոյնն է՝ կրտսերին պէս թող ըլլայ, ու հրամայողը՝ սպասարկուին պէս: Քանի որ ո՞վ է մեծը, սեղան նստո՞ղը՝ թէ սպասարկուն: Միթէ սեղան նստողը չէ՞. սակայն ես ձեր մէջ սպասարկուի մը պէս եմ: Եւ դուք անոնք էք՝ որ միշտ ինծի հետ կը մնայիք փորձութիւններուս մէջ. ես ալ թագաւորութիւն մը կը կտակեմ ձեզի, ինչպէս իմ Հայրս թագաւորութիւն մը կտակեց ինծի. որպէսզի 3
դուք ուտէք ու խմէք իմ սեղանէս՝ իմ թագաւորութեանս մէջ, եւ բազմիք գահերու վրայ՝ դատելու Իսրայէլի տասներկու տոհմերը»: HEBREWS13.18-25 Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way. I particularly urge you to pray so that I may be restored to you soon. Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. Brothers and sisters, I urge you to bear with my word of exhortation, for in fact I have written to you quite briefly. I want you to know that our brother Timothy has been released. If he arrives soon, I will come with him to see you. Greet all your leaders and all the Lord’s people. Those from Italy send you their greetings. Grace be with you all. LUKE 22.24-30 A dispute also arose among them as to which of them was considered to be greatest. Jesus said to them, “The kings of the Gentiles lord it over them; and those who exercise authority over them call themselves Benefactors. But you are not to be like that. Instead, the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves. For who is greater, the one who is at the table or the one who serves? Is it not the one who is at the table? But I am among you as one who serves. You are those who have stood by me in my trials. And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me, so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. 4
ՇԱԲԹՈՒԱՆ ՏՕՆԵՐԸ - FEASTS OF THE WEEK ՃՐԱԳԱԼՈՅՑ (ԽԹՈՒՄ) Ս. ԾՆՆԴԵԱՆ (ՅՈՒՆՈՒԱՐ 5, 2026) Ս. Ծննդեան նախորդ օրը Ճրագալոյց է եւ այդ օրը կը մատուցուի Ս. Պատարագ: Ճրագալոյցի երեկոն կը կոչուի նաեւ Խթում: Այդ երեկոյ եկեղեցիներէ ներս կանթեղներ կը վառուին եւ ճրագը կը բաժնուի ժողովուրդին՝ անոնց մոմերը վառելով ու այդպէս վառած մոմերը տուն տանելով՝ որպէս խորհրդանիշ աստուածային լոյսի եւ եկեղեցւոյ օրհնութեան: Պատարագէն յետոյ կը կատարուի յաջորդ օրուայ նախատօնակը, որով կը կանխուի Սուրբ Ծննդեան շաբաթապահքը: Ժողովուրդը Տէրոջ Ս. Ծնունդը եւ Աստուածայայտնութիւնը կը սկսի տօնել Յունուար 5-ի երեկոյան: Ճրագլոյցի ժողովրդական սովորութիւններն են՝ մէկը միւսին Քրիստոսի ծննդեան «Աւետիս» տալը , ապա աւանդական ընթրիքի շուրջ հաւաքուիլը, ճաշակելու համար բանջարեղէնով ուտեստներ, չոր միրգեր, ձկնեղէն, հաւկիթ, տեսակաւոր թխուածքներ ու գինի: EVE OF FEAST OF THE HOLY NATIVITY AND THEOPHANY OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST (January 5, 2026) On the eve of the Feast of the Nativity and Theophany of Our Lord Jesus Christ on January 5, the Jrakalouyts Divine Liturgy is celebrated.

That evening the church lanterns are lit and people take home the lit candles from church as a symbol of divine light and blessing. The Feast of the Holy Nativity (Christmas) is preceded by a weeklong fast (the Fast of Nativity), which begins from December 30 till January 5. According to tradition, after the Christmas Eve Mass people spread the good news of Christ's birth, and gather together at a dinner table friends and family, where traditional food such as fish, vegetable dishes and wine are served. ՍՈՒՐԲ ԾՆՈՒՆԴ ԵՒ ԱՍՏՈՒԱԾԱՅԱՅՏՆՈՒԹԻՒՆ (Յունուար 6, 2026) Յունուար 6-ին, Հայաստանեայց Առաքելական եկեղեցին կը տօնէ մեր Տէր Յիսուս Քրիստոսի Ս. Ծնունդն ու Մկրտութիւնը կամ Աստուածայայտնութիւնը: Մինչեւ 4-րդ դարը բոլոր քրիստոնեաները Ս. Ծնունդը կը տօնակատարէին Յունուար 6-ին: Սակայն, Հռոմի կայսրութեան մէջ հեթանոսական աւանդութիւնները խափանելու պատճառով Հռոմի եկեղեցին առաջին ա նգամ 336 թուին Յիսուս Քրիստոսի Ս. Ծնունդի օրը տօնեց Դեկտեմբեր 25-ին: 451 թուականին, Քաղկեդոնի 4րդ Տիեզերական ժողովին, որուն Հայաստանեայց Եկեղեցին չմասնակցեցաւ, վերջնականապէս հաստատուեցաւ 6
Սբ. Ծնունդը տօնել Դեկտեմբեր 25-ին, իսկ Մկրտութեան տօնը թողել Յունուար 6-ին: Հայ Առաքելական եկեղեցին բացառութիւն կազմելով հաւատարիմ մնաց աւանդութեան, Ս. Ծնունդը եւ Մկրտութիունը միասնաբար կը տօնէ Յունուար 6-ին: Այսպիսով նաեւ Հայաստանեայց եկեղեցին պահեց իր ինքնուրոյնութիւնը: NATIVITY AND THEOPANY (January 6, 2026) On January 6, the Armenian Apostolic Church celebrates the Holy Birth (Sourp Dznount) and the Baptism of our Lord Jesus Christ (Theophany). By the 4th century all Christian Churches were celebrating Christmas on January 6. However, to prevent the pagan traditions within the Roman Empire, in 336 the Roman church officially declared to celebrate Christmas on December 25. During the fourth Ecumenical Council of Chalcedon in 451 (Armenian Church did not attend it), it was decided to observe the Nativity of our Lord on December 25, and Theopany on January 6th. The Armenian Apostolic Church remained faithful to the tradition and celebrates both the Holy Nativity and Theophany together on January 6. ՋՐՕՐՀՆԷՔ Յունուար 6-ին, Ս. Ծնունդի Պատարագէն յետոյ կը կատարուի Ջրօհնէքի արարողութիւն: Ջրօրհնէքի արարողութիւնը հաստատւած է ի յիշատակ Յորդանան գետի մէջ Քրիստոսի մկրտութեան՝ ձեռամբ Յովհաննէս Մկրտիչի: 7
Պատարագիչը յատուկ ընթերցուածներէն, քարոզէն եւ աղօթքէն ետք խաչով կ’օրհնէ ջուրը եւ անոր մէջ աղաւնաձեւ Միւռոնաթափէն Ս. Միւռոն կաթեցնելէ ետք ջուը կը բաժնուի հաւատացեալներուն՝ իբրեւ սրբութեան խորհրդանիշ եւ բժշկութեան միջոց: Հաւատացեալները, օրհնըւած այդ ջուրէն նաեւ տուն կը տանին, որպէսզի եկեղեցի չեկած անձներն ալ խմեն եւ հաղորդակից ըլլան Ջրօհնէքի սուրբ խորհուրդին: BLESSING OF WATER On January 6 the Armenian Church commemorates not only the birth of Christ, but also His baptism by John the Baptist, which is remembered through the "Blessing of Water" ceremony. Following the Divine Liturgy the celebrant clergy performs the ceremony of Jurorhnek, or the "Blessing of Water." During the ceremony, the cross is dipped in water to bless it. Then, the Holy Chrism (Muron) is poured into the water from a doveshaped container. The shape of containers symbolizes the appearance of the Holy Spirit in the form of a dove. At the end of the service, the members of the parish receive the blessed water to drink and take home for the family members who were not able to attend the church that day.

ԱՍՏՈՒԱԾԱՅԱՅՏՆՈՒԹԻՒՆ Աստուածայայտնութիւնը կը յիշատակէ մեր Փրկչի մկրտութիւնը: Աստուածայայտնութիւնն այն է, որ Քրիստոսի մկրտութեան ժամանակ յայտնուեցաւ Ս. Երրորդութիւնը` Սուրբ Հոգին` Քրիստոսի վրայ աղաւնակերպ իջաւ, եւ Հօրը` ի վերուստ հնչող ձայնը ըսաւ «Ա՛յս է իմ սիրելի Որդիս՝ որուն հաճեցայ» (Մատթ. 3.17, Մարկ. 1.11, Ղուկ. 3.22 THEOPANY Theopany is referred to the Baptism of our Savior Jesus Christ in honor of his manifestation as the Son of God. During the Baptism the Holy Trinity was revealed: the Father pronounced, "This is my Son, the Beloved, with whom I am well pleased," and the Holy Spirit in the shape of a dove descended and alighted on Jesus Christ. (Matt. 3:16; Mark 1:10; Luke 3:22).

Օրհնեալ ես, Տէր Աստուած, մեր փրկիչը որ ամէն ժամանակ մեզի հետ ես, եւ երբէք Քու ձեռքէդ չես ձգեր զանոնք, որ հաւատքով եւ ճշմարտութեամբ Քեզի կʼաղօթեն: Կʼաղաչենք եւ կը խնդրենք Քեզմէ, Տէր, Քու ծառաներուդ ճամբորդակից եղիր, Քու հսկողութեամբդ պահելով խաղաղութեան մէջ. եւ առաջնորդէ մեզի խաղաղութեամբ եւ ուրախութեամբ նորէն հասնելու մեր բնակարանները, մեր Տէր Յիսուս Քրիստոսով, որուն կը վայելէ փառք, իշխանութիւն եւ պատիւ, այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս յաւիտենից: Ամէն: ********* Դուն, որ կ’օրհնես քեզ օրհնաբանողները, Տէ՜ր, եւ կը սրբես քեզի վստահողները: Փրկէ քու ժողովուրդդ, օրհնէ՛ քու ժառանգութիւնդ. քու Եկեղեցիդ ամբողջ պահէ: Սրբէ՛ անոնք, որոնք սիրով յօժարեցան քու տունդ վայելուչ պահել: Փառաւորէ՛ մեզ աստուածային քու զօրութեամբդ, եւ մի՛ լքեր քեզի ապաւինողներս: Քու խաղաղութիւնդ պարգեւէ ամբողջ աշխարհին.Եկեղեցիներուն, քահանաներուն, քրիստոնեայ ղեկավարներուն, Հայոց ազգի Հայրապետութեան ու Հանրապետութեան, մեր բանակին եւ մեր ամբողջ ժողովուրդին: Որովհետեւ բոլոր բարի բաները եւ բոլոր կատարեալ պարգեւները երկինքէն՝ քեզմէ՛ կու գան, ո՜վ Հայր, որ լոյսի արարիչն ես: Եւ քեզի՛ կը վայելեն փառքը, իշխանութիւնը եւ պատիւը. այժմ եւ միշտ եւ յաւիտեանս եւ յաւիտենից: Ամէն:
