Considered as one of the most talented and progressive chefs, he is a nine-time Michelin Star awardee, included in the list of the 100 Best Chefs by Le Chef, and his restaurant Nuta placed on the famous La Liste - the list of the 1000 best restaurants in the world! Twice awarded at the Best Chef Awards Gala (in 2024 and 2025).
Plac Trzech Krzyzy (Three Crosses Square), in Warsaw’s heart is known for the historic neoclassic church, St. Alexander’s. Today there is another divine attraction here—NUTA, the recent Michelin-star awarded culinary home of the celebrated chef Andrea Camastra! Italian-born, he perfected his natural abilities at top venues across Europe, while also earning his master’s at Oxford. As Warsaw’s good fortune would have it, he chose this city to grace with his creative genius. His inspired creations are parts of set-menus, made with the confluence of sublime artistry, techniques of molecular gastronomy, yet endowed with an artisanal wholesomeness. The name NUTA refers to his philosophy of the ‘note-by-note’ steps of flavors, metaphoric rungs which make one ascend to gastronomic heaven! There is indeed an all-enveloping harmony which one experiences with Camastra’s craft, an unsaid testimony to his ingenuity.
A full range of excellent breakfast is served at Baczewskich daily: Mon to Fri, 8 to 12; Sat-Sun, 9 to 12.
Family Sundays: Families and friends can spend time in a festive environment; from 12 noon to 4 pm an instructor conducts classes in English, animations, games, and varied activities for kids.
Unique events can be organized in the large spaces within the restaurant as well as in the surrounding garden.
Baczewskich is located within a NeoRenaissance palace in the center of Warsaw; built in 1895 it was one of the few buildings that survived the Second World War. The restaurant evokes the nostalgia of the 1920s and 30s, and is the younger sibling of Baczewskich in Lviv, Ukraine. Chef Dmytro ‘Dima’ Babak, brings his immense experience in bridging the modern with the traditions of Galician cuisine. For example, scallop carpaccio with black truffle reflects the contemporary, while the lamb shank with mashed potatoes and caramelized vegetables conveys the more traditional! In addition, Chef Babak always serves unique dishes from outside the menu, ostrich tartare and shark steak are examples. The ethos here is of feasting and fun in the environment of a ‘special occasion’ with piano and music, and well-attired service! A sophisticated wine list, as well as cocktails, classic liquors, and original tinctures all made in-house, are joyously served. Delightful indeed!
Restaurant Concept 13 is located on the 5th floor within VITKAC, the splendidly designed shopping landmark in Warsaw’s center. With Chef Rabie Abed Alsalm at the helm, it is doing as much for the advancement of the city’s gastronomic credentials, as the premises that it is in, is doing for the world of high-fashion and style! Sophisticated interiors define its cutting-edge, contemporary intentions, and reflect on the place’s culinary direction. Here is a modern international menu suffused with elements of fusion that makes its gastronomic idea interestingly well-rounded and complete. An open kitchen is at its core, from which emanates impressive preparations such as the fish soup with seafood and coriander; or the grilled octopus with tataki sauce. There is the menu of the day, and an extensive wine list of course. The summer terrace with its panoramic views, indeed makes this a very special venue, once only imaginable!
Both have been recognized by Forbes as amongst the Top 50 Restaurateurs in Poland in 2024. Partners in life, they are the visionaries behind the EATERY and their latest, the EATERY trad. (see next presentation).
AGNIESZKA DUBAS, MARCIN MAZUR
This innovative restaurant in Warsaw’s center, the EATERY, has garnered a reputation for the reimagining of traditional Polish home-cooking into its modern presentations. The adherence to creating everything in its kitchen is one reason why the quality is stellar. Much demanded by guests, as examples, are the onion flatbread with onions, poppy seeds, and salt; or the slow cooked ribs, for over eight hours in dark beer, topped with honey glaze! The menu pairs well with the natural wines and artisanal beers on the list. This remarkable venue is a consequence of the creative energies of hotelier-restaurateur Marcin Mazur and Agnieszka Dubas, fashion stylist and the EATERY’s interior designer! The internal space, with rattan and marble, with each element custom-designed, with music and film as part of the decor, serves to meditate one’s mind on the artful composition of the plate. An outstanding experience!
A culinary encore of the EATERY now happily graces Warsaw’s Powisle in the form of the much appreciated, the EATERY trad. It bestows an authentic experience of traditional Polish cuisine thoughtfully prepared using the finest recipes from various regions across Poland. Signature cocktails, artisanal Polish beers, and natural wines have been meticulously selected to pair with and enhance the rich flavors on the menu. Founders Marcin Mazur and Agnieszka Dubas have created here as well the same welcoming ambiance which captures the warmth that should go with high-class Polish culinary traditions. Each dish on the menu can either be had as an appetizer or as a full serving, an innovative way to enable sharing as well as allowing a wider sampling of the kitchen’s excellence. Dishes such as the fish soup, pork jelly with marinated boletus, the pyzy or dumplings with various meat fillings, and much more, are all outstanding both in flavors as well as in their modern presentation. Awesome!
EPOKA, led by Chef Marcin Przybysz, has once again received Michelin’s distinction for 2025, strengthening its position on the path to earning a Michelin Star. The prestigious La Liste ranks it amongst the top 1000 restaurants in the world! It is located within the beautiful landmark building of the Hotel Europejski, home to brands such as Raffles, Hermès, Aston Martin, and Patek Philippe. EPOKA has achieved brand status too by Chef Przybysz’s unforgettable ‘epochal’ experience, lost Polish recipes from antique cookbooks recreated in contemporary interpretations with an emphasis on sustainability, fresh products from local suppliers and zero food waste! His two tasting epochs-based menus are indeed culinary episodes, titled History and Short History. The creativity here is a commitment to connect the old with the new, each course a discovery, a modern conception from the archives of Poland’s kitchen history. The much-deserved success of EPOKA is indeed worthy of applause!

The term ‘hidden gem’ is usually used for a spectacular place known only to those who seek excellence. This is true of Soul Kitchen, where its founders Daniel Leszek and Patryk Lempke, ensure the restaurant’s many rich attributes. This is where a classic, sophisticated, and wholesome menu is served, European-International in its inclination. Culinary passion is evident as natural flavors are brought to the fore, not drowned out by superfluous embellishments— possible only when the ingredients used are top-notch, seasonal, and sourced responsibly. A much-indemand dish— the New Zealand lamb cutlets on the bone, with wild broccoli, red currants, served with a wine and fig sauce— is an example of a diligent no-short-cuts approach. How the smallest touch impacts the overall is the overarching thought that guides the restaurant’s talented team. With classic interiors that exude warmth, a welcoming and caring staff, Soul Kitchen truly imparts a sense of perfection!
Stepping into Browar Warszawski’s Brewery & Bar is like stepping into Warsaw’s brewing history— reimagined here with modern verve. Nestled in historic cellars, the bar merges raw brick, steel vats, and soft leather accents into a dynamic social haven. With 18 house-brewed craft beers—served unfiltered, unpasteurized, and straight from the tanks—beer lovers can marvel at the varied, encompassing flavors that are created here with care and master-perfection. Beyond beer, the cocktails from the bar are equally impressive, spotlighting seasonal ingredients, Polish spirits, and over 100 world-class whiskies. Evenings come alive with live music, DJ sets, and creative events that draw a stylish, well-heeled crowd. Whether one seeks a quiet sip or an animated, fun night out, the bar offers warmth, character, and a deep respect for the ‘art of the drink.’ A true destination for connoisseurs as well as those who simply know how to have a wonderful time!

AWARDED THE BEST PIZZERIA IN THE WORLD IN 2024, by AVPN!
JĘDRZEJ AND LILIANNA LEWANDOWSKY WITH THEIR WOOD-FIRED FORNO ACUNTO ANGOLARE!
Jędrzej Lewandowski represented Poland at the Olimpiadi Vera Pizza Napoletana 2018, the International Olympics for Neapolitan pizza making where over 200 professionals from all over the world took part. His ‘Margherita’ brought the team high recognition and was amongst the top ten ‘Under 35’ medalists. In 2024, Jędrzej and Lilianna also took part in the ‘La Pizza Più Alta d’Europa’ expedition, during which the AVPN association baked a wood-fired pizza at an altitude of 3,466 meters at the summit of Mont Blanc. Bravo!
- Ranked as the Best Pizzeria in the World by AVPN for 2024;
- Ranked #18, 50 Top Pizza Europe 2025, Madrid;
- Ranked #97 amongst 100 best pizzerias in the World by 50 Top Pizza World, Napoli 2024; - Ranked #20 amongst 50 Top Pizza Europe, Madrid 2024;
- Awarded ‘Top Pizzeria in Poland 2024’ and ‘Best Fried Food Europe 2024, Madrid 2024; - Ranked #44 at the Campionato Mondiale Della Pizza, Parma 2023.
When Jędrzej and Lilianna Lewandowsky decided to give up their jobs as architects to pursue their passion, the couple turned their studio into a restaurant. Little would they have known that their endeavor, Zielona Gorka, in Pabianice (near Łódź), would in 2024 be ranked as the Number 1 pizzeria in the world by AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana)! AVPN is the authority for verifying true authenticity; these standards are now enshrined within the UNESCO Cultural Heritage List! The kitchen at Zielona Górka is akin to a theater stage; interestingly the pizzaioli (pizza chefs) working here are also accomplished musicians who have a shared passion for making pizza! Their “instrument” here though is a genuine wood-fired brick oven, a Forno Acunto Angolare; the “symphonies” emanating from which are the over forty types of pizza for which guests arrive from far and wide to savor and applaud. This workshop of passion is a true, living masterpiece!

Warsztat – Food & Garden’s culinary glory has much to do with the deeply personal story of its founder, Marta Stalmach. Her vision transformed her father’s autoshop (‘warsztat’ in Polish) into one of Wrocław’s distinctive eateries. Conceived by her as a true “workshop” when it opened in 2015, it remains a place of continuous creation, learning, and craftsmanship, albeit in the kitchen! Inspired by family traditions, childhood memories of baking with her grandmother, and years of experience with natural ingredients, Marta created a concept rooted in authenticity. Recognized by Michelin in 2025, the kitchen focuses on honest flavors, carefully sourced products, and recipes that rhyme with the seasons. It now includes a bakery as well where the philosophy of creating everything from scratch, without compromise, applies thoroughly. The surrounding garden offers a connection to nature, making Warsztat a blessing that offsets a hasty, rushing world. Thank you, dear Marta!

The History of Polish Jews
POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews offers a profound journey through 1000 years of Jewish life in Poland. Located next to an extensive green area, and to the Monument to the Ghetto Heroes, this is both a cultural landmark as well as a place of reflection. Opened in 2014, on the site of the former Warsaw Ghetto, it houses an award-winning Core Exhibition which traces a vibrant culture shaped by coexistence, tragedy, and renewal. The Core Exhibition consists of galleries available for viewing with multilingual guides; highlights include a dazzling reconstruction of the 18thcentury Gwo ź dziec synagogue roof. The minimalist glass exterior of the Museum building, designed by the Finnish studio Lahdelma & Mahlamäki, gives way to a dramatic, light-filled interior of curved forms and symbolic space. The Museum’s WARSZE Bistro serves modern takes on traditional dishes from Polish-Jewish cuisine. POLIN is indeed a must-see place on Warsaw’s cultural map!
