2026 GPS BASKETBALL ROUND 2
Bus B4 will remain back to support the First V Team. If you are not on Bus B4 and wish to stay back for the First V game, you must email sport@twgs.qld.edu.au before midday Friday, 24 July.
GAME DAY INFORMATION
ROUND 2: SATURDAY, 25 JULY 2026
• Travel/Arrival: First V to arrive and travel in full Blazer Dress. Players who are staying to watch the First V are required to travel in Blazer Dress and ensure they have their playing uniform and equipment packed. Players who are not spectating the First V are welcome to travel in their school tracksuit with their TGS training shirt. Please note, sneakers must be worn. Boys are not permitted to wear slides, thongs, crocs etc.
DRESS CODE
CANTEEN AND REFRESHMENTS
• Warm Up/Game: Players must wear the TGS basketball playing uniform during games. Basketball shorts (New Balance Multi-Purpose shorts without pockets) are required; PE shorts are not permitted. TGS socks and non-marking footwear must also be worn. A playing jersey will be provided to each player each week.
• Spectators:
• For Saturday sport, boys arriving on campus, both Home and Away, must be in School uniform, including spectators.
• Spectators or players wishing to watch the First V must be in Blazer Dress by the time the First match commences.
Teams at TGS
A canteen will be available on the day at Glen McCracken Sports Centre.
Teams at Nudgee College
A canteen will be available on the day at Brisbane Grammar School which will close approximately 11:30am. TGS boarders will be allowed to collect their meal voucher after 11:30am if needed.
All TGS Basketball Buses will depart from, and return to, the Margaret Street Loop. Boys are to arrive 15 minutes before their departure time. Please see below Bus Masters for each Bus:

• Bus travel will be compulsory for all boys for Term 3.
• Boys are not permitted to drive themselves or others to fixtures.
• Boys can return to Toowoomba with their parents/guardians after their game; however, they MUST advise their Bus Master before departure.
