Please note, Bus T3 has been organised to transport all players (dayboys and boarders) from TGS to Toowoomba Tennis Association and return. All players are required to return to TGS on the bus and dayboys are to be collected by parents from the School.

*Year 8 players can arrive at School in their TGS Tennis Uniform (Blazer Dress not required). Boys are to meet Mrs Catlow outside Old Hall at the end of Period 1 and make their way to the Junior School reception entrance together as a group for their 9:15am bus depature from Herries Street.

*Year 7 players will go to the start of Period 4 and depart class at 11:10am to change into their Tennis Uniform and are to meet their coach at Margaret Street Bus Loop by 11:20am for their 11:30am departure to Nudgee.
Year 6 players can arrive at School in their TGS Tennis Uniform (Blazer Dress not required). Boys will go to class for roll call and be supervised until their 9:15am bus depature from Herries Street.

ROUND 1: FRIDAY, 24 APRIL 2026
XI Football/Tennis 1:15pm - 2:50pm
At 1:05pm, a bell will signal for students to head towards the Terraces to watch First XI Football or Tennis. At the end of lunch, all students, apart from those playing tennis or football, will be required to spectate First XI Football or First IV Tennis until the conclusion of the day.
• Blazer Dress is to be worn to school on Friday, 24 April with the exception of Year 8, Year 6 and Year 5 Tennis players who can arrive in their Tennis Uniform.
• Tennis players are to change into warm-up/playing gear as per the times listed on page 1.
• The following teams will be required to change back into Blazer Dress at the conclusion of their game and move to the Terraces or Tennis Courts to watch the First XI or First IV:

• Warm Up/Game:
• TGS tennis uniform requirements for players during games. Tennis shorts must be worn; PE shorts are not acceptable. Boys are strongly encouraged to wear their TGS Tennis Cap for all games. Note: TGS socks must be worn and non-marking footwear.
A canteen will be available on the day at the TGS Pavilion and Glen McCracken Sports Centre.
A BBQ will be available at Nudgee College.
Boys playing at Toowoomba Tennis Association and Sandgate Tennis Centre are required to take their own food for the duration of the day. Both venues will have a light canteen in operation with drinks and snacks available, but no hot food.
T1 Tennis Bus will depart from Herries Street in front of the Junior School. T2 and T3 Tennis Buses will depart from the Margaret Street Loop. All TGS Tennis Buses will return to the Margaret Street Loop. Please see below Bus Masters for each bus:

• Bus travel will be compulsory for all boys for Term 2.
• Boys are not permitted to drive themselves or others to fixtures.
• Boys can return to Toowoomba with their parents/guardians after their game; however, they MUST advise their Bus Master before departure.
• Transport will be organised for all boys playing at Toowoomba Tennis Association in Round 1 only.

All TGS Boarders will collect lunch through the TGS Pavillion canteen on Friday, 24 April.
Boarders playing at Home or Toowoomba Tennis Association over lunch have been organised the following which they must collect themselves from the Dining Hall:

Toowoomba Tennis Association
• 10A, 10B, 10C - packed meal.
Boarders in these teams will also be able to collect lunch from the Pavilion at the conclusion of their tennis games. The Pavilion Canteen will be open from 11:00am to 3:00pm.
Medical attention will be available throughout the day at all venues.
Please be advised that parking for TGS Football and Tennis Fixtures is available in side streets adjacent to the school or via Entrance 1 or Entrance 2. Parking in the Aquatic Centre Car Park (Entrance 3) is reserved for Aquatic Centre patrons only.
Adjusted parking arrangements will be in place on Friday, 24 April, between 8:00am and 11:00am for our ANZAC Day Service. Please park in side streets if arriving at TGS during this time.
• NO Alcohol is to be consumed at GPS Tennis Fixtures without the Headmaster’s permission.
• NO Smoking: TGS and Toowoomba Tennis Association are non-smoking venues.
