First XI Football
At 1:05pm, a bell will signal for students to head towards the Terraces to watch First XI Football. At the end of lunch, all students, apart from those playing tennis or football, will be required to spectate First XI Football or First IV Tennis until the conclusion of the day.
• Blazer Dress is to be worn to school on Friday, 24 April.
• Senior School football players are to change into warm-up/playing uniform as per the times listed on page 1.
• The following teams will be required to change back into Blazer Dress at the conclusion of their game and move to the Terraces to watch the First XI:
• Game Time: 12:00pm to 1:05pm
• 2nd XI, 3rd XI, 11A, 10A, 8B, 7B
• Game Time: 1:10pm to 2:15pm
• 9B, 9C, 8D, 7A
• The following teams will watch the start of the First XI game in Blazer Dress and change into their warm-up/playing gear during the First XI game at the times listed on page 1 and below:
• 1:40pm - 11C, 10C, 7D (change into playing gear and move to oval)
• 2:20pm - 8A (changing into playing gear and meet coach at warm up area)
• 2:45pm - 11B, 10B, 8C, 7C (changing into playing gear and meet coach at warm up area)
• Warm Up/Game:
• Players must wear TGS football shorts (New Balance multi-purpose playing shorts). PE shorts are not permitted.
• TGS football socks and football boots must be worn.
• Shin pads are compulsory for all players.
• Blazer Dress is to be worn to school on Friday, 24 April.
• Junior School football players are to change into warm-up/playing uniform at 11:45am, at the commencement of Period 4.
• All Year 5 and 6 players will have an early lunch at 12:00pm and move to Trustees Oval at 12:30pm.
• All Year 5 and Year 6 boys who are not involved with Tennis or Football will spectate on Trustees Oval for the 1:10pm games (6B & 5C), under the supervision of their classroom teachers.
• At the conclusion of the 6B and 5C games, boys may either:
• remain on Trustees Oval to spectate the 5B game at 2:20 pm, or
• return to class.
• 5B players are to be collected by parents from Trustees Oval at the conclusion of their game at 3:20pm. Any boys unable to be collected at this time will be walked back to Junior School Reception at 3:30pm by coaching staff and collected at a time previously arranged with the Junior School.
• Boys who choose to remain to spectate the 5B game, rather than returning to class, will be walked by Junior Staff back to the Junior School prior to 3:10pm for normal after-school collection.
• Warm Up/Game:

A canteen will be available on the day at the TGS Pavilion and Glen McCracken Sports Centre. Please note, the Pavilion is located near Old Boys’ Memorial Oval and Mills Oval and Glen McCracken Sports Centre is near Trustees Oval and Kent Oval.
All TGS Boarders will collect lunch through the TGS Pavillion canteen on Friday, 24 April.
Medical attention will be available throughout the day at the TGS Pavilion for Old Boys’ Memorial Oval, Barbour Oval and Mills Oval, with a separate marquee for first aid on Kent and Trustees Ovals. An ambulance will also be onsite at TGS for the duration of the day.
Please be advised that parking for TGS Football and Tennis Fixtures is on side streets adjacent to the school or via Entrance 1 or Entrance 2. Parking in the Aquatic Centre Car Park, Entrance 3, is reserved for Aquatic Centre Patrons only.
• NO Alcohol is to be consumed at this event without the Headmaster’s permission.
• NO Smoking; TGS is a non-smoking campus.
