DRESS CODE

GAME DAY INFORMATION

ROUND 1: SATURDAY, 31 JANUARY 2026

• Travel/Arrival: First XI to arrive in travel polo and warm up shorts. All other players can arrive/ travel in their training uniform, school tracksuit or cricket uniform with socks and sneakers. Please note, sneakers must be worn. Boys are not permitted to wear slides, thongs, crocs, deck shoes etc.

• Warm Up/Game: Cricket uniform requirements for players during games which includes TGS cricket white shirt, white long pants, TGS socks and TGS cap/wide brim hat. Note: shirts must be tucked in at all times.

• Spectators:

• For Saturday sport, any boys arriving on campus, both Home and Away, must be in School uniform, including spectators.

• Boys wishing to spectate cricket, including the First XI game, must be in their Golds uniform. Boys are not permitted to wear slides, thongs, crocs, deck shoes etc. Only sneakers are allowed to be worn by players and spectators.

Teams at TGS

A canteen will be available on the day at Glen McCracken Sports Centre and the TGS Pavilion.

CANTEEN AND REFRESHMENTS

BUSES

Teams at Nudgee College

A canteen may be available on the day at Nudgee College, however, it is strongly recommended that boys playing at these venues bring their own food in case canteens are not open.

All TGS Cricket Buses will depart from, and return to, the Margaret Street Loop. Boys are to arrive 15 minutes before their departure time. Please see below Bus Masters for each Bus:

• Bus travel will be compulsory for all boys for Term 1.

• Boys are not permitted to drive themselves or others to fixtures.

• Boys can return to Toowoomba with their parents/guardians after their game; however, they MUST advise their Bus Master before departure.

The following meals have been organised for TGS Boarders playing Away:

Boarders in the following teams will have meals in the Dining Hall before or after their match (Dining Hall Lunch Hours 11:30am to 1:30pm):

• 3rd XI, 10B, 8B, 6B, 6C

Boarders playing at Home over lunch have been organised the following which they must collect themselves from the Dining Hall: 2nd XI, 10A, 8A - Packed morning tea and lunch. 8C, 8D - Packed lunch.

• NO alcohol is to be consumed at home or away fixtures.
