GAME DAY INFORMATION

ROUND 1: SATURDAY, 18 JULY 2026

• Travel/Arrival: First V to arrive and travel in full Blazer Dress. Players who are staying to watch the First V are required to travel in Blazer Dress and ensure they have their playing uniform and equipment packed. Players who are not spectating the First V are welcome to travel in their school tracksuit with their TGS training shirt. Please note, sneakers must be worn. Boys are not permitted to wear slides, thongs, crocs etc.

• Warm Up/Game: Players must wear the TGS basketball playing uniform during games. Basketball shorts (New Balance Multi-Purpose shorts without pockets) are required; PE shorts are not permitted. TGS socks and non-marking footwear must also be worn. A playing jersey will be provided to each player each week.

• Spectators:

• For Saturday sport, boys arriving on campus, both Home and Away, must be in School uniform, including spectators.

• Spectators or players wishing to watch the First V must be in Blazer Dress by the time the First match commences.

A canteen will be available on the day at Glen McCracken Sports Centre.

CANTEEN AND REFRESHMENTS

A canteen will be available on the day at Nudgee College.

Teams at Brisbane Entertainment Centre

A canteen will be available on the day at Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

All TGS Basketball Buses will depart from, and return to, the Margaret Street Loop. Boys are to arrive 15 minutes before their departure time. Please see below Bus Masters for each Bus:

• Bus travel will be compulsory for all boys for Term 3.

• Boys are not permitted to drive themselves or others to fixtures.

• Boys can return to Toowoomba with their parents/guardians after their game; however, they MUST advise their Bus Master before departure.

Please be advised that parking for TGS Basketball Fixtures is on side streets adjacent to the school or via Entrance 1 or Entrance 2. Parking in the Aquatic Centre Car Park, Entrance 3, is reserved for Aquatic Centre Patrons only.

• NO alcohol is to be consumed at home or away fixtures.

• NO smoking: all campuses are non-smoking campuses.

Home Day Information

Spectators

At Nudgee Collegeparents and friends are welcome to , spectate. Spectators are to remain in the spectator zones attimes. School officials will be identifiable by ID badges ALL and security guards may be present; please ensure their directions are followed. All spectators are reminded that adherence to the GPS Association of Queensland’s Code of Behaviour is an absolute condition of attendance at this event.

Parking

All vehicles should enter via Gate 1the new entry to the , College, offSandgate Road.

Please use either Car Park 4 and 5. A map for your reference is available below. Buses should drop offat Gate 2 (O’Neill Building) and use Car Park 7.

First Aid

First Aid is available atThe Flats and between Ross and Wilkes Ovals for Football and Rugby.

There will also be coverage in the McKennariey Sports Centre andTennis Complex.

Toilets

Visitor toilets are located atThe Flats, next to Mt Sion Courts, in the McKennariey Sports Centre and under the Duhig building near Ross Ovals.Visitor changing rooms are under Duhig building (Football and Rugby) and in the McKenniary Sports Complex (Tennis and Basketball).

Canteen Facilities

Canteen and hot drink facilities will be available onhe Flats T and in the tuck shop next toWilkes Oval. ForTennis and Basketball, Bede’s Cafe is open in the swimming pool complex and will have a range of food and drink options.

Coaches Lunch

Coaches lunch will be provided in Ryan Hall for football and rugby. For full details please check with the relevant Sport Director specific to the sport.

Post-Match Function

A short post match function for the 1st team and families will be held in Ryan Hall within 15 minutes of the end of the 1st teamfixture (Football and Rugby).

For basketball this function will be in Bede’s café next to the swimming pool.

For tennis this function will be held next to the tennis courts.
